Remember, Bucs Game At Midnight
September 12th, 2010For those less-fortunate who didn’t go to the game nor went on the wildly successful Blackout Tour — you just don’t know the fun you missed! — Joe has a reminder and perhaps a big surprise.
As earlier reported, NFL.com will have a rebroadcast of the Bucs win over Cleveland at midnight. The game will be available to watch at any time for a 72-hour window.
But that may not be all.
Per Joe’s scheduling grid on DirecTV Channel 705, it appears at midnight, and rebroadcast several times throughout the next 24 hours, will be a 30-minute condensed version of the game. This is not listed on DirecTV’s schedule grid on its Web site so Joe isn’t sure this is some programming error on DirecTV or not but just a heads up, it may be a nice little surprise.
And a reminder, the Blackout Tour Web site is taking reservations for all future home Bucs games at BlackoutTour.com. Reservations are fully refundable in case of a lifted blackout so don’t be left out in the heat cold and get on the bus!
Today was a thorough blast!

Did you know that today marked a first for Raheem and the Bucs.
Today is the first time under Morris’s reign in which the Bucs are tied for first place in the NFC South!

One of my kids is going to the game against Pittsburg. So for those of you that took the Bus to Ft Myers how was that deal? I will either drive to Ft Myers for the Pittsburg game or take the Bus if I hear good things about it.

I live out of the Tampa Bay area and get the condensed game every week on Direct TV. I usually save the losses this way and the full game if they win. Now if I could figure out how to transfer the games to disk from Direct TV’s USB port I’ll be a happy man.

I love the DirecTV shortcut games. Every play from every game in 30 minutes. They just cut all the commercials, all the time between plays, and only show the replay if it’s a TD or official review on the field. Don’t know if that’s part of the free preview weekend or not, as I get the package every year.

Yea i’m not seein it either. If you click the Game Rewind thing it asks for credit card info and all of that. Not giving them any of that just to watch a replay.
