Chucky Loves Graham Barton

September 7th, 2024

“That SOB Jason Licht found another one. Graham Barton, that motherf’er might be better than Jeff Faine.”

Man, this Chucky is going bananas on social media.

To the best of Joe’s knowledge, short of a burner account, Chucky had never, ever screwed around with social media. All of a sudden he’s everywhere.

Chucky, just in the past few days, he’s got a YouTube account. He’s got a TikTok account. He’s got an Instagram account. He’s got a Twitter account (OK, OK, an “X” account).

Joe doesn’t do Snapchat so he doesn’t know if Chucky has a Snapchat account. And Joe really doesn’t want to think of Chucky with an OnlyFans account. That’s just too much information.

This guy is all over social media, more than an SEC sorority chick during rush.

All of these social media accounts are “Chucky Loves Football.” And it seems from the video he uploaded on TikTok and YouTube this evening, Chucky loves Bucs center Graham Barton.

(The YouTube video is a Short, tricky to navigate. The TikTok version is much longer and easier to play around with.)

How much does Chucky love Barton? Chucky thinks he could be in the running for “Offensive Rookie of the Year.” Seriously!

“I found a center,” the first coach to lead the Bucs to a Super Bowl victory began. “He might be the Rookie of the Year if you ask me, based on his performance in the preseason.

“And it’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ first-round pick. It’s Graham Barton. … When I watch him on tape, you know what I love about him? He has great range and pad level and athleticism.

“And he can make these reach-blocks.”

Then Chucky goes to the whiteboard to demonstrate what he’s talking about in deep X’s and O’s vernacular. Chucky noted that when facing huge nose tackles, it is imperative that the center “reach” the nose tackle, or make enough forward motion on the first step or two to reach the nose tackle and cut him off.

“Very few guys can do it,” Chucky said. “Graham Barton? He can snatch a shade, man!”

Chucky was also giddy at how Barton wipes out linebackers on the second level. Chucky then returns to the whiteboard and explains how offensive linemen aren’t usually athletic enough to take on linebackers. Barton, Chucky said, isn’t an ordinary offensive lineman.

“He can ignite himself after he snaps the ball into the second level with the proper angle it takes to anticipate these linebackers scraping to the play.”

In other words, athletic linebackers can shed blocks from offensive linemen who cannot match their athleticism. Barton, Chucky notes, can hang with athletic linebackers.

“To have a guy this big and this athletic who can explode into the second level and block these linebackers on the second level” is special,” Chucky noted.

So who will be the biggest beneficiary of Barton’s skillset? Baker Mayfield? Nope, Chucky says. Instead, Chucky believes the guy who will benefit most is Rachaad White.

So now you know why Bucs types are so confident the running game will improve.

This is great, great football education from Chucky. Joe sure hopes he doesn’t slow down with this social media binge he’s on.

I, too. find his podcasts highly educational and thoroughly enjoyable. As an aside, I want to support him.

  2. Mostly Peaceful Trask Fan Says:

Total upgrade at center over chef hat chicken legs.

    Can’t be denied.

  3. J Says:

Perfect timing ro reintroduce himself after the whole email debacle.

One thing I always enjoyed was watching Gruden and his mini film sessions on Monday Night Football.

    J Says:

    “after the whole email debacle”

email debacle??? More like Snipe Job.

Hoping Gruden insists on taking his case to trial instead of settling…. so it will come out publicly exactly who was responsible for illegally releasing those private emails in that fashion. The world deserves to know who ‘cancelled’ Jon Gruden

  5. Buc4evr Says:

@Pickingrin, Gruden lost his appeal at Nevada Supreme Court, he must go to arbitration with the NFL. The problem is that Goodell is in charge of all NFL arbitrations. So the deck is stacked against Gruden. Talk about unfairness and unequal bargaining power….

  6. stpetebucfan Says:

Barring the wrong group of injuries…and even there I think this team now has more depth as well as an improved starting lineup. When backups were previously two year starters including for the GOAT, you have depth!

Like Gruden and Wise Crack I think Rachaad White will be the biggest beneficiary of the new improved OL and in particular Barton in the middle.

And with Bucky and Tucker the Bucs even have some depth in the RB room.

  7. Dave Pear Says:

Put his name back up on the ring of honor. Don’t wait for the inevitable court exoneration, which will happen.

  8. David Says:

Great stuff, but all does make me angry that they took him out of the ring of honor. That was ridiculous.

Imagine if everyone of us were fired or had awards or our livelihoods taken away based on private conversations, private texts, private emails, etc. it is insane

  9. adam from ny Says:

2 pillars on the end and a pillar in the middle…

with serviceable guards sandwiched in between – and the line is gonna be good…

and the running game will then produce…

thus opening up the whole offense…

barton can turn out to be the key piece to a well oiled machine

  10. Jmarkbuc Says:

The emails are evidence. How is a court going to exonerate him.

He said what he said. You can’t unring the bell.

I think Snyder gave him up. He didn’t like Jay, and was trying to divert attention from his own shenanigans..

  11. Hodad Says:

His lawsuit is not about being exonerated. It’s about how he was singled out to be a scapegoat for what goes on in the NFL. Only his E mails came to light, and the NFL hasn’t released all of the E mails from their investigation. Gruden did what he did, but was he unfairly thrown under the bus by the NFL? That’s why he’s sueing.

  12. WiseCrack Says:

This game is played by savages and coached by them as well.

Nothing Coach said was anything that is not said on dang near every play of every game.

Culture does not adapt to people. People create the culture. The culture that is the NFL does not think much of Jon’s comments. In fact, most know and understand that Gruden is indeed Chucky.

You play with fire or dolls in the NFL. You are likely to get Pricked.

Bottom Line. Cancel Culture was and is a Culture of far far worst people than our RING OF HONOR original gangster!!!

  13. Joemaguire Says:

    Brederson is our backup center.

Klein is a our backup guard.

If a starting center goes down, time to trade Hainsey and his 3 million.

Or, we find a team in need of a center, and trade Hainsey for a fast ILB.

  14. SlyPirate Says:

What’s so crazy about Barton is his physique. When you look at Wirfs, Goedeke, Hainsey, they look inflated. They look like they are carrying unnatural weight for their frames (because they are). Think Marpet. He quit the NFL and now he’s his normal body composition. Barton is a very natural 310. He’s the Tyron Smith of Centers.
