What Does Sean Tucker Know?

Cryptic message.
Yeah, call Joe weird. But unless something happens, it hasn’t. Don’t tell Joe you have never been surprised by a transaction a team has made. Or hasn’t made.
Athletes, especially NFL players, love to put out cryptic messages on social media. It’s almost like a game. And Joe is guilty of lapping this stuff up because Joe knows Bucs fans want to know every morsel about their team.
Bucs backup running back Sean Tucker put out a Twitter this morning “It All Counts Now.” Is Joe to assume Tucker has been told he’s on the 53-man roster? Or is Tucker like Joe and couldn’t wait for the worthless preseason to be over?
It’s not like the Bucs are deep at running back. And with Chase Edmonds — a backup on the worst rushing team in the league last year — likely to start the season on injured reserve, it’s no shock for Tucker to make the team again.
Hell, he had a good preseason. With no depth at runnign back, why wouldn’t the Bucs keep him?
Two days before cutdown day, it’s interesting to Joe who knows and doesn’t know he’s made the team.

Well…..the next game counts, as do all of them thereafter. So he probably means, now the games count.

Our biggest and fastest RB is definitely making the team.
Regardless of the logic R Munch spouts about R White, my eyes and intuition think Sean Tucker seems like our best prototypical RB. With Bucky our #2 and Rachaad as a potent 3rd down back…. (by season’s end, that’s prob how it will shake out)

As a backup he did exactly what he should’ve done against backups showing great vision and and an instant north south running as soon as his cuts found paydirt. Set up and read his blocks well and got extra yards, something we haven’t seen from our starter for 2 seasons. At this point I believe he and Bucky will be on the 1s and 2s before the end of the season unless White has proven he’s learned from the coaches and our run game is much better with him starting

Love Tucker’s tweet. His tweet got me thinking too. Has he been informed yet, or maybe he and others are nervous this weekend waiting to hear? I am going with he made it and is now looking ahead for season to begin. Go Bucs 🏈

I feel like we only need 3 running backs on the 53 man roster and with that being said it’s White, Irving and Tucker. Tucker looks like an nfl back and played a lot better than he did last years pre season. Would love to see us Bucs finish in the top ten in the rushing department, definitely not end up anywhere close to last I hope. Go Bucs

Pretty safe to assume Tucker has made the club. It would be a shocking move to release him. He’s our 1st or 2nd best runner (between him and Bucky).

I tried to post a list of players that have been let go but it’s waiting to be approved. RB Ramon Jefferson got released. Other notables include Zach Triner, Kalen Deloach & David Wells so far. There are more happening as I type.

Chase Edmonds is starting out the season on reserves and will not get his job back. Dude is a lock by default plus he’s balled out the entire offseason

Edmonds isn’t worth a spot. He had a couple of flashes as a Cardinal, but that’s all done now.
If Bowles likes him so much, he should just give him a spot as a coach.
