Open Bucs Training Camp Dates — In Jacksonville

July 9th, 2024

Old memories at a Bucs-Jaguars practice in Jacksonville.

This is a public service announcement for the masses wanting to see more of Bucs training camp — without buying season tickets or joining a special interest group.

The Bucs have made two practices during the 2024 training camp at One Buc Palace accessible to the general public. The Jacksonville Jaguars opened 15 dates. The good news is the Bucs’ joint practices with the Jaguars in Jacksonville are on that list.

The Bucs will practice alongside and against the Jags on Aug. 14 and 15 starting about 9:45 a.m., and wrapping up about noon. The sessions are at the Jags’ practice center located in the shadows of EverBank Field, also known as the Gator Bowl.

Bucs fans secure seats via the process at Jaguars.com. Joe’s been to multiple Bucs-Jags joint practices in Jacksonville. They’ve got some bleachers, lots of room to move around and just about zero shade.

Joe hopes to see red jerseys out there before Joe heads out for a Mayport shrimp feast.

It’s despicable that the Bucs are being so miserly with opening things up to the public. In the late 90s, you could head out to UT and watch a field full of future HOFers, no tickets, no hassle, just show up and watch, kids getting autographs, players talking trash to the crowd, it was fun electric atmosphere that lead to endless good will and to selling a lot of tickets.

Now they want you to make reservations for 2 practices, a month in advance to watch a team lead by Todd Bowles and Baker Mayfield. Give me a break.

Pretty sad that the best chance for an average Bucs fan to see the team practice in person prior to the season – involves driving 5 hours up the road…..

This is BS. Glazers need to fix this.

They’ve got their priorities completely backwards in growing the brand. For what reason? – So your season ticket salespeople have one extra bullet point on their list to work with? SMH

Thank you for the information, Joe. Appreciate it.

Locally, some schools and colleges start on August 12th, so many wouldn’t be able to travel there since it’s the same week 🙁

One fun thing for anyone going, they can stop, eat, and fill up their gas tank or charge their battery at Bucees afterwards. I think it is pretty close. Only have been to the Bucees near Dallas and Mobile but they are all the same.

I’m surprised that there was no picture of Swaggy and a certain palm tree.

I just got the tickets to the practices and the game. Go Bucs!

Shahid is making the Glazers look like idiots me thinks. BTW last time I drove Through Jacksonville you could not pay me enough to even get out of the car.

    Go Bucs!

If Jersey is considered the armpit of the country Jacksonville is definitely the a$$h0le. Lived there for a year and moved back to the Bay Area as soon as my lease was up.

I’ll stick to Joe’s notes and pics of training camp until the Glazers pull their head out of their asses and open up practices to fans.

Joe, if you go Jax, do it up big. It’s tax deductible.

BTW, the Bucs just sent out an email saying plenty of good seats still available for the two practices, so buy your tickets now everyone.
