So Easy To Love Mike Williams
August 21st, 2010Joe could write up a bunch of love for wide receiver Mike Williams, but there’s really no need to go through it all.
Simply, Williams is a serious talent and seems, after two preseason games, like the kind of guy who could easily have 50 catches this year all while he learns and improves and figures out the NFL. (Joe would still settle for 30+ and some touchdowns.)
Joe was taken with Williams at the NFL scouting combine, as Joe wrote many times. There he just looked like a man among boys. And now after two good preseason games, it’s clear the game comes easy to Williams. He just has that “it” factor.
Williams hauled in three catches tonight against the Chiefs in the preseason home opener, and a fourth that was a very nice grab but he didn’t get his second foot in bounds.
Joe’s just sick to his stomach at the thought of Josh Johnson trying to get him the ball when it counts on Sept. 12.

@Joe
By the way Johnson played tonight, I’m not panicking about Freeman’s injury. I just hope it’s not a fluke and that we saw his real self tonight. You never know!! If Johnson and Carpenter both start playing bad, are there any free agent veterans we could sign??

Jeff Garcia hahahaha I hope that is a joke.

Did we get an Arrelious the Goat sighting ???
August 22nd, 2010 at 12:56 am
@ Joe
This is the third time in two days that I’ve tried to comment on idiots like Radio, and my comments don’t go through. What gives?????
August 22nd, 2010 at 1:00 am
Greg …because your comments suck , and no one cares what you think, perhaps??
August 22nd, 2010 at 1:01 am
@ Joe
Can’t understand why you let guys like Radio and Miguel make the comments they do, and not let us respond to their outlandish statements! Really, because I’m a member of the the armed forces, you’ll let Miguel, who’s citizenship is very much in question, call me a “nazi” yesterday, and won’t let my comments through, and today, you won’t let me comments go through against that jackass Radio with his “Arrelious the Goat” comments? That’s crap man!
August 22nd, 2010 at 1:02 am
Yeah Radio, like any of us really care what a loser like you has to say!
August 22nd, 2010 at 1:06 am
Sorry , Greg . Joe does not like Nazi’s
August 22nd, 2010 at 1:27 am
Really? Well, what’s his stance Commies?
August 22nd, 2010 at 1:41 am
Joe here,
Greg – Joe’s not blocking your comments in any way. No clue what’s happened to them. Joe doesn’t have the time or desire to “block” comments as they come in. An initial comment is moderated and approved, and then you’re free from there. …Of course, Joe does delete objectionable posts on rare occasion.
August 22nd, 2010 at 2:11 am
Joe, I didn’t post anything that you would delete, but I have posted 4 statements since yesterday directly against Miguel and Radio crapmouth that never made it on the board, and there wasn’t anything that a 6 yr old would object too in there!
August 22nd, 2010 at 2:36 am
GatorBuc15, Radio crapmouth’s stance against Commies is “bring ’em all, the more in my ass the merrier!”

Williams looks like an excellent draft choice, assuming he can carry this good play over to the regular season.
The other members of the stupendous draft have yet to distinguish themselves. Of course its way early to draw any conclusions.
Freeman losing valuable play and practice time can’t be helpful to the cause of starting out with a win.
August 22nd, 2010 at 9:10 am
Greg , God is deleting your comments. Like the rest of us , he thinks you’re lame also.
August 22nd, 2010 at 5:07 pm
Hang in there Private Greg, you’ll learn.
August 23rd, 2010 at 4:19 am

As far as the comments not going through that’s happened to me aswell.
