Encouraging Injury Report

November 3rd, 2023

Injury report.

Three key Bucs starters on the injury report were each at practice and fully participated Thursday.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee), left tackle Tristan Wirfs (quad) and defensive tackle Vita Vea (groin) were all fully practicing. On Wednesday, Wirfs was limited.

Tight end Ko Kieft (ankle) and safety Kaevon Merriweather (ankle) were limited in practice yesterday.

Defensive lineman Logan Hall (groin) and left guard Matt Feiler (groin) were held out of practice Thursday. If Feiler and Hall are both held out in today, it would be unlikely for them to suit up Sunday in Houston for the Bucs-Texans game.

If the Bucs lose this game, the season is over.

I mean it’s already over, but everyone else will realize it’s over.

Man, that bye week could literally cost the Bucs some solid draft picks, because if they had been 3-5 at the deadline, they’d probably have unloaded some guys.

Anywho, Bowles had better win this game, otherwise it’s time to start talking about the draft.

  2. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I don’t even know if I’m going to watch. Mayfield is still the starter, and I have no desire to watch time be wasted.

  3. Fred McNeil Says:

Honestly, Rod…your words aren’t quite true, but we will hear the Fat Lady warming up her voice. That’s not good. I hate opera.

  4. Stanglassman Says:

I think Walford would be next up if Baker’s knee knocks him out of play. The Bucs have a lot of issues on offense. Qb play is way down on that list.

  5. Rod Munch Says:

Speaking of next year, the Bill Belichick trade rumors are picking up steam. We know the Glazers like high profile coaches.

Just think of how the Bucs can go from once again being nobodies, to having everyone talk about them as they get Bill, then convince Brady to unretire. Now that would be something.

  6. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Nothing to see here. Wake me up when there’s a new HC.

  7. realistic-optimistic Says:

@Rod, I think Belichick would instantly retire if the Bucs traded for him, a la Jake Plummer. He has to know by now that his career success was from Brady, and Brady got a SB here. Coming here and failing to get a SB would just put another feather in Brady’s hat.

  8. Show Me the TDs Says:

I don’t even read the injury reports any more. This team sucks, no matter who’s out there.

  9. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Relatively healthy…..we should win this game…..we MUST win this game.

  10. captivajim Says:

can we win without Logan Hall ?????

  11. Capt.Tim Says:

    Bonzi,
Werent you one of the “I love Mike Glennon” fan club we had going on around here- a few years ago?

    Glennon was Horrible.
Trask is even worse than that.

  12. 74 Bucs Fan Says:

Capt Tim – we’ll know how bad Trask is or isn’t when he plays. Cool that you have a Crystal Ball though.
