You said “we know they won’t run it wide so we can throw those out” or something to that effect… was this something said by the coaching staff, that they don’t want to scheme wide runs? Or is this just based on what we’ve done so far this season?
The tight ends are very weak at blocking, so this wouldn’t surprise me. Just curious.
Re: the sack numbers, a HUGE reason for that is also because of how elusive Mayfield has been back there.

So because of analytics the Bucs don’t run off tackle. No wide runs at all, to either side, not even behind Wirfs. Unreal. Canelas is really making it easier for the defense.
This makes no sense. This offense has no creativity and can’t excell at the basics.

I do agree 1988, every big run from White comes back for a holding penalty… many times it’s not even anywhere close to where the play was.
Same thing used to happen to RoJo almost every time he’s bust out a big run.
Different backs, different lineman, some issues.
Perhaps Harold Goodwin is the problem?
