Keep Calm, Bucs Fans!

Joe is taking a pain and anguish break to inform every single Buccaneers fan that only eight NFL teams have more wins than the Bucs.
That’s right. Only seven clubs have four or five wins. The Bucs are 3-2.
The sky is not falling. Dark clouds have not drifted over the One Buc Palace. There’s no reason to toss your jerseys throw the orange Jell-O you made for today’s game into the street. (That sounds fun, but a dog might eat and get seriously ill.)
Head coach Todd Bowles often talks about the Bucs finding their identity. It’s still being formed, but Joe thinks Tampa Bay is becoming a team that needs turnovers to win and one that is going to have to adjust to its deficiencies at tight end and in the running backs room.
That will take a little time, but while that’s happening, Joe remains confident the Bucs certainly have enough to win the sad NFC South. That includes beating the Falcons (3-3) at The Licht House next Sunday.
If the Bucs lose that game, then Joe will bless a fan freakout. Eventually, Joe will get ZZs tonight thinking that only seven teams are in better shape than the Bucs.

Losing faith in this offense. It’s as if we need to be down to apply any pressure on opposing defenses. What happened to a freaking hurry up offense. Why not go for it on 4 and 2? We choose to punt instead! It’s not rocket science.

It’s one game. The Bucs two losses have come against 2 of the 4 teams with the best NFL record since midpoint of last season. Those 4 teams are still great. The Bucs are obviously not great…YET.
There is a lot of room for growth. Next Sunday is the real test.

Please don’t patronize us Joe. We beat the Bears, Vikings, and a struggling Saints team. We were outclassed by the 2 good teams we faced. You can’t win without an Offense in the modern NFL. We are the worst in the league in rushing… again! Mayfield is below average but has swagger???? There is no reasonable scenario where Bowels or Mayfield are here next year.

I would be shocked if the Bucs don’t go 9-3 the rest of the year. The NFL is a mess right now and The Bucs look better then 75% of the league. I agree, don’t panic.

I like Davis. But seeing him get Chris Conte’d by a wide receiver wasn’t very encouraging,
And just remember…the three teams we have beaten have a 6-12 record this year. So just deal with the reality we are probably the best team in the weakest division in Football, and in a normal one we would likely be in the lower half. So don’t expect miracles.

I am a fan who does not care about the record. Why should I? I just like having a Tampa NFL team. If they suck they suck. Right now….they suck. I will not claim the are good when they are not.

Joe, I hear you but itās just frustrating to see the opportunities that the Bucs have in these games to score and the drive is always killed by a penalty or a drop pass. And whatās up with all these batted down passes today? Itās to the point where as soon as the Bucs make a big play, I start looking for the yellow flag

Joe: honest question – what gives you any confidence Bowles and Co. will adjust? A quarter into the season, have you seen any adjustments yet? Theyāve said time and time again they will continue to run the ball, even when it apparently is failing miserably.

I didnāt think the TEs did terrible they made their ketches. Deff baker didnāt have a good game no run game and ME13 dropping some of easy ones. Shake off the bye blues and get back to work

I guess it really depends on what your level of satisfaction is. Is it the number of wins? Is it Division Championships? Is it advancing in the playoffs? Is it a conference championship? Is it playing in the SB? Is it winning a SB? I think there is a good chance we could reach one or two of these. The rest? Don’t see it this season.

They were $55 million over the cap in February and the experts had them bottom of the barrel preseason. A winning record and good chance to win the division is a nice surprise. Lots of teams have looked bad against the Eagles and Lions lately, or so i hear.

Took āem an ENTIRE ā2-Weeksā to come up with THAT game plan!?:/ WOW. It was SUCH a joke that (after the first run again on 1st-Down, with like 9-10 minutes left), I saidā¦ āYeah, REAL SMART There, Do It AGAIN, You STUPID SOB!!!!ā And, I be darnā¦ HE DID (on that 2nd-Down too, back-to-back!!!! HeII, I was just joking, but it was really, just that ridiculous. Itās at the point now, where I believe heās being stubborn and just doing it out of spiteā¦ Cause, how else, could ANYBODY, be THAT stupid!? It makes no senseā¦ Continuing to run on 1st-Down and just like, ramming your head into a WALL. Over and Over, & Again and Again. Theyāve GOT TO play with more tempo and play more of a dink and dunk pace, and get Baker outside of the pocket where heās actually, BETTER at improvising and making playsā¦ Heās more accurate even, when āoutsideā of the pocket. Heās too small to constantly, be contempt with just staying in there, when itās most always, all boggled-up and he can barely see over. I mean, How MANY balls did he get ābattedā todayā¦ 4, 5!? I cast all blame on our running backs baker needs help he’s avoiding sacks and not throwing tons of interceptions. Our running back are holding us down we need to trade for a decent RB our offense will take off once that happens. Our defense just held the lions to 20 points lions was averaging 31 points a game. I’m def not panicking 11 win season I’m still confident we can do it. And that offensive pass interference on Mike Evans was terrible!! That don’t get called it’s a completely different game

The score was 10 to 3 in the 3rd quarter with plenty of time on the clock. It was 3rd down and 1 at around their 11 yard line. We throw a 50/50 ball in the end zone that does not work. It took us all game to get that close to the end zone. Get the first down! You have 2 plays to get 1 yard! You fought all game to get that close. That was when we lost the game right there. Situational football. Simple stuff. You tie the game up right there and it’s a completely different game.

The difference between the 2021 and 2023 bye week was Brady team never lost a game all the way through the Super bowl, but lets hope that the Mayfield team can put this lost behind themselves.

The Bucs are a good ābadā team. They may even make the playoffs due to the weakness of the NFC South. So keep calm the Bucs are probably going to be the worst team to make the playoffs and lose in the first round and get screwed for draft picks next year and still have a QB problem

The Creamsicle throwbacks bring memories of before we were really established. A winking pirate is not ferocious.Ive lived during those years and experienced what its like to be a team that people make fun of year after year. I dont like the memories Creamsicle brings back.

All Honesty were overpaying our Defense…our DBs can’t cover and When they try and play Zone defense it’s embarrassing… It’s a shame the Browns,Jets, and Jaguars look better on defense than us we’ve been together 5years now
