Antoine Winfield Gets A Shoutout

So who is the best defensive back in the NFL? Darius Slay? Marshon Lattimore? Sauce Gardner? How about Antoine Winfield?
Super Bowl-winning cornerback Jason McCourty, currently a co-host of “Good Morning Football,” seen weekday mornings on NFL Network, had a list of the top five defensive backs in the NFL through Week 5.
Normally, you would expect a cornerback to be the top defensive back. Nope, not today. McCourty believes Winfield is playing at such a level, he’s gotten better results than the best corners in the game.
“This guy just continues to make plays all over the field,” McCourty said. “His leadership is everything about Antoine Winfield, Jr.
McCourty also noted Winfield is one of three safeties with two sacks. How good of a year is Winfield having? Well, through five games he already has tied a career-high in forced fumbles (two) and is one shy of a career-high in fumble recoveries (two).
Joe really believes Winfield is playing at an All-Pro level.

Even better than doing it in 5 games is doing it in 4 which is how many games he has played due to the bye week.

That was my point orlbucfan. They have all but ignored our talent here forever. Even LeeRoy got the treatment a bit back in the day.
