Tom Brady Needs Three Touchdowns

Sunday’s game against the streaking, sound and savvy Cincinnati Bengals has Joe taking great pause.
Essentially, a completely different Buccaneers team has to show up for Tampa Bay to grab a critical “W.”
It’s a tremendous ask and probably an unrealistic expectation. The Bucs probably needs last year’s team to walk into the building.
Joe would settle for the club that appeared not even one month ago against the Seahawks.
Still, no matter how Joe carves up the options — and the Bucs appear limited by significant injuries on defense — Joe sees Tom Brady needed three touchdown throws that have nothing to do with garbage time of a loss. That’s literally something Brady hasn’t done all season, as hard as that is to believe.
In contrast, Bengals QB Joe Burrow has four games this season, all victories, with 3 or more touchdown throws.
It’s a team game and the Bucs need their defense to get back to allowing less than 20 points per game, as they were routinely before last Sunday’s beat down. But the Bucs most need Brady to snap back to elite form if they want to have a prayer on Sunday — and in the playoffs.
Frankly, Joe would be darn happy and encouraged all next if week if Brady broke out on Sunday, even if the Bucs lost.

Joe, you need to have a topic on Danny Amendola. He recently said he will come out of retirement to play with the Bucs, if Tom Brady needs him. He would actually give the Brady that much needed quick slot receiver that can get the ball quickly, before the o-line breaks down, and that can move the chains.
He had 7 catches for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns in his last game. So he can still play, and him and Brady have a great chemistry with each other. Amendola also proved that he was super clutch in big games and big moments with the Patriots.

I don’t care who you have at QB with this offensive scheme you are doomed to fail. There is no creativity at all. Its the same f**king 3 or 4 plays over and over. Hey Byron, go back and study last years games and run that.

Just on defense, Vea, Dean, Nassib & Avery didn’t participate in yesterday’s practice and JTS & Winfield were limited. Edwards & SMB both participated, but they’re still hurting. This is resembling more of a MASH unit than an NFL football team.
Even IF we played Cincy at our full defensive strength, we’d have a tough go of keeping up with them. Through 13 games, we’ve scored 17 passing TDs, 4 rushing TDs, 1 Pick 6 & kicked 24 FGs for 224 points. Bengals meanwhile has scored 27 passing TDs, 13 rushing TDs & 19 FGs for 335 points, roughly 50% more than us in the same number of games.
But ya, gotta stay optimistic.

There’s no reason for Brady to have a good game and we lose. Brady is placeholder QB at this point. 45, old, stiff, dink and dink, no deep ball, cranky, scared, etc. There no future in Brady. Move on!!

There were many games he could have had 3 tds if the WR’s would not drop the ball or would stop quitting on routes I routes or could get a few yards after the catch. I watched a repeat last night of what happen to Brady happen to Geno Smith (a mobile QB). The only difference their D didn’t let up 35 points. Purdy didn’t throw one pass in either game over 20 yds. Why is it the Bucs have to. Amendola would be a great pick up, show these wr’s how to separate.

What this team needs is Bruce Arians. Let’s all just tell it like it is. There is just something about him that players respond to. He gets on the refs and you can’t tell me that at some point in the game you might get a call that you wouldn’t normally. Hey Refs are human and I’m sure don’t like to be shouted and cussed at and if the head coach keeps telling you the whole game the left tackle is holding you might just get a call. Also, when someone makes a stupid play or penalty Arians is going to make sure you get an earful when you get to the sideline. Instead we get that stupid look on Bowles face like he’s some kind of robot. Well that’s how our team is playing like a bunch of robots.

I hate, and I mean absolutely hate, to be all doom and gloom… but after last week’s game, there’s still a very dark cloud over the Bucs, and I don’t see any sunshine coming this week. I hope the Bucs prove me wrong though, truly I do!

Amendola? Jerry rice in his prime couldn’t help this group. It’s hard to get open against 7+ in coverage every play. The talent is there in the passing game. The problem is they can’t run to save their lives. Even against light boxes, it’s three yards. Danny would be about as useless as Beasley was.

Sparky? More importantly has there been 20 guys open in the end zone this season. Absolutely no separation from these guys even worse in the red zone. Everything has to be schemed before the line of scrimmage because they don’t have the ability to get open. Doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see that.

Brady needs to be booted off the field the minute he throws another pass that misses its target by a mile. The dumbo should have retired after the SB win. We had to put up with Antonio Brown’s crap, and the Bucs didn’t need Gronkowski to win the SB. Brady also got rooked in the SBF crypto scandal, BTW.

If not for Bowels interview focus and lack of Bucs playoff preparation Brady should have brought two SB’s to this shatty organization. The ownership is so used to losing they don’t know what it takes to win, that’s why at this point they are enjoying stealing all their season ticket holders money. I heard next year when Bucs money maker leaves the Bucs are offering a round trip ticket and free stay to anyone that will attend a Bucs 2023 home game.

In the Seattle game, the 49er receivers were wide open on almost every single pass completion, and all of them were extremely easy throws. Whenever there was even the slightest bit of pressure from the defensive backs on the receivers, or when there was even the slightest tiny bit of a pass rush – Purdy missed every single throw, and he wasn’t even close either.
Anyone claiming otherwise, 100% absolutely did not watch that game.
