This team misses Arians way more than I thought it would. I thought they’d coast for a year, like many teams do (note the 2002 Bucs overcoming Gruden as the HC for example). But Bowles, who I don’t dislike, and Leftwich, who I hate, are just not the right guys for this team. In fact, Leftwich isn’t the right guy for any team. But this team has zero swagger, everything is going to be close, and that’s because of the coaching and playcalling. The Bucs should be able to blowout teams like this, instead they’re going to turn it into a struggle.

Well as someone else point out, they’re play against Tampa Bay alumni Tomlin, who is a HOF HC. So yes, getting out coached is the likely outcome. The Bucs, however, have a massive player advantage that should, hopefully, come into play here soon.

@Izod. It’s not the skill position players. As you can see on that embarrassment of a series, the O Line is who is gelling if you want to call it that. Tom can’t survey a GD field because of the incompetence of the same 2 guys. They aren’t cutting it at all. The playcalls have been quick because they can’t hold on for freaking 3 seconds. Therefore the strength of this team is self-mutilated by incompetence up front. Wow. That’s just a flat out lack of skill. It’s getting close to being time to move on from #67. What a kick! CrackWise – I agree, zip is the first to go, but in this game, you literally see zip. Look at the pass to Evans across the middle, the ball was there. Accuracy hasn’t been great, but that has more to do with happy feet. Also, based off last week, I still wonder if Brady has any issues with his hand – in the 1st half last week he was throwing really well – then hit his hand, and after that was all over the place. I’m going to guess that is an ongoing issue, but obviously no one Brady or the team is going to address.
With that said, it’s fair to watch for the decline in arm, it will happen at some point, but I 100% do not see that. When he starts throwing softballs, outs that aren’t getting there that get intercepted, that’s when you start to get a bit worried if it happens multiple times.

Again SB. Tom has been fine. The men that block in front of him, not so much. He’s been a little off in this game but he’s been good all year. He has to be able to throw the ball. 2 of the misses to Godwin came as Goedeke per usual got beat and Brady had to rush the throw without stepping into it. Fix the line and the offense is fixed.

Entire 1st half zero touchdowns. Our offense has come out flat in every game this season. Im no Byron scapgoater but they got a third string secondary and Byron arent attacking it. Devin White is really starting to get under my skin. That first drive was some of the dumbest MLB play ive seen. Ive been focusing on this guy for his career and its getting hard to watch. He has been getting burnt on that TD his whole career. At this point he is a talented player who can make some splash plays but he is just a bad MLB. I counted 5 terrible plays. CrackWise – The deep passes to Miller last week were deep on, and thrown with velocity.
As for zip, it was an 8 yard pass, and he’s 12 yards deep, that’s a 20 yard pass. Payton or Brees couldn’t throw with that much zip if it was 5 yards.
I’ve seen no signs, yet, of a decline in arm. Again, it will happen at some point, but the issues have been with accuracy due to poor blocking and because of that happy feet, not because of his arm. Brady has always been a guy who gets inaccurate if you can make him start getting ancy in the pocket.
