Said it since day one, Leftwich is ULTRA conservative, the only reason the Bucs threw it deep was Arians forcing Leftwich not to be awful. Now that Leftwich is in charge, everything is a run or a 2 yard pass. There’s a reason in 2018, Leftwich’s only year as an OC without Arians, he finished 32nd in the league in offense.

If you don’t score a TD on this drive, and you won’t because Leftwich is an idiot, then just sit all your half-injured guys and see if the defense suddenly gets better like they did vs the Packers and then you can play them later if it’s close. Otherwise just rest guys.
After this the Bucs got 3 games in a row they should win, which would leave them 5-2. Nothing wrong with that, it’s not the end of the world.

Guys, it’s not that Vita isn’t trying, he’s morbidly obese, he’s WAY too heavy. His 350lb weight is what he got DOWN to for the combine, he’s clearly more heavy than that, I’d guess he’s between 370 and 380, if he got down to 330 he’d play a lot more downs and be a lot more valuable. The coaches should be on him to put down the quad-burger and just scale back to a triple.

Said all along I think the offense struggles until half-time, but comes out in the 2nd half and starts to look like the team from the last few years on offense, and that carries through going forward.

Then the offense will get the ball back, and instead of just doing what we did there and opening it up, Leftwich will call back to back runs up the middle for -1 yards and then we’ll end up punting.

I was looking at last second seating for this, figured with the hurricane that directly hit us, people wouldn’t be wanting to leave their destroyed homes for the game. But nope, tickets in anything close to decent seating were over $300 each. Knowing how bad the Bucs are at home in these SNF games I passed. I, once again, made the correct decision.
Next week the Bucs get to beat up on Atlanta. I expect the game will be close until the 4th quarter, all the morons in here will be crying, then the Bucs will score like 21 points in 8 mins and make it a blow-out. Hopefully.

I got a real problem with this offense. Its a trend in last two years we come out flat and play the game down 2 or 3 scores. Lack of answers on this offense. Its to the point I can expect our offense to do nothing until they get down big. We may be built to play from behind but it is not sustainable. As of now I dont see a Championship caliber offense.
Could shred the defense as well. Ill just say Devin White is most accountable as our premiere player and should go without saying he should never miss that tackle. He is overated, sorry great LBs dont miss that tackle. Simple ast that.

BTW, why would you go for 2? If you miss it, it’s a 12 point game, you need two TDs. If you make the 2 point conv, it’s a 10-point game, and you need a TD and FG to tie it. If you kick the XP, it’s an 11-point game, and you need a TD and FG to tie it.
There’s literally no reason to go for 2 there, in particular considering its still the 1st half. Going for 2 there would actually be a bad call.

I thought the Bucs offense would get going in this game, but he’s still likely lose. But with those upcoming games, again, we should be 5-2, and actually have an offense that is in sync as we hit the next tough portion of the schedule.
I’m not too worried about things, so long as they win these next 3, anyways.
So many injuries, such bad coaching, and a really difficult stretch of games – but I think we’ll be fine, and the Bucs are playing for Jan.

Could be by design. Licht, partly, drafted Roberto because he was so accurate, that the Bucs thought he’d be able to consistently kickoff the ball and be able to drive it to the goalline, but also right at the end sideline, yet keep it inbounds.
So I wouldn’t be shocked if the coaches are wanting him to kick it right at the goalline to force returns there since it runs the clock with 10 seconds to go, and you figure your guys can tackle.

Take the garbage 1999 Rams, they played one of the most soft cupcake schedules ever, then in the playoffs, vs the Bucs, they just paid off the refs and got past the Bucs and won a SB.

Here it is only halftime and the Chiefs have already rushed 18 times for 105 yards. Our run defense is getting shredded. Mahomes has passed 21 times with 14 completions for 126 yds. The 28 points is bad enough, but we’re letting them push us around in the process. For all those who kept saying that Suh was over-the-hill and couldn’t stop the run anymore, you might want to rethink that. He obviously wasn’t the problem.

I agree that Vea hasn’t looked himself this year.. I wonder if they’re trying to up his snap count and he can’t handle it. Defense has shown plenty, but have started slow if nothing else and this is one of those bad games. They’ll get some things straightened out. I guarantee the Falcons come in and beat this soft azz team. Run and Run is all they need to do !! Bring back Bruce, a conditioning coach, and Suh. Todd is getting walked all over and it’s obvious by the play on the field. Bringing in Nassib and Julio did nothing and how are they still on this team. Defense wins and when your Dline and LBs are old and soft this is what happens
