Tom Brady Knows Bucs Defense Has Bailed The Team Out

Offense needs to get in gear.
If the Bucs defense wasn’t so strong, is it possible the Bucs would be 0-3 right now?
Eh, Joe can’t go there. Both Bucs victories were by more than a touchdown.
That doesn’t mean Tom Brady isn’t well aware the offense hasn’t been pulling its fair share of the load and the defense has been lights out.
“I just love the way our defense has played, and their ability to play great football for us,” Brady said. “I think they’ve done a great job against Dallas, they did a great job against New Orleans. They played really well last week.
“So, we’ve got to go out there and try to match what they’ve been doing. They’ve been doing an unbelievable job and they’re keeping us in every game.
“We’ve got to ultimately go out there and find our rhythm and score more points and take some pressure off them, too. But I know that they feel like they have a great group and they feel like they’re doing a great job, which they are.”
Brady seems to think the Bucs will eventually crack the code of their offensive doldrums. One reason is the character of his teammates.
“That’s why I love football – it’s a team sport,” Brady said. “There’s nobody that ever points fingers. You show up every day, you put the work in, you do the best you can do, and you win as a team and you lose as a team.
“That’s what I love about this team, and it’s been that way since the day I got here.”
Well, until Chris Godwin and Julio Jones show up healthy, the backups simply have to find a way to produce. Joe believes Cole Beasley will be more and more be involved as he builds a rapport with Brady and learns the playbook.
The thought of the Bucs possibly wasting such a good defense gnaws at Joe.

The Green Bay game had 8 new starters compared to last years starting team. Four new on the line (1 being a 3rd stringer) one new at TE and 3 different at WR. Based on the tough schedule so far, we actually should be in good shape when we get guys back.

The Bucs signing Tom Brady is the greatest free agent signing in Bucs history and one of the greatest free agent acquisitions in the history of the NFL. D Rome. Guess what Brady will be gone next year and they still haven’t developed a quarterback in the history of the franchise and yet and still y’all keep blaming the quarterbacks that they drafted. Jameis ain’t the only quarterback that the bucs has destroyed . They’re doing to another young quarterback who lead the NCAA in every stat in 2020 . Offense has to get more consistent in terms of extending and finishing drives. Points not punts, work to get into field goal range first then ratchet up the attack to punch it in from there. The mental errors need to be limited, if not cut out completely and it’d nice to score multiple touchdowns in one game for starters this weekend.

Most NFL teams don’t actually develop quarterbacks. Most of the time when quarterbacks make it to the NFL they are pretty much the same player with both pros and cons. Coaches can help amplify the pros and reduce the cons but the fabric of who you are as a player doesn’t change. He never changed. He’s a bust.

Brady often has slow starts, I see him lead receivers alot, or throw the ball low, where only the receiver can get it. This has lead to several injuries,where receivers had to stretch themselves out to get the ball. Better that then a turnover though I guess.

The defense carried the Patriots Brady last couple years. He was miserable. I think he’s more optimistic now because he knows they’ll get better on offense. Once they get some guys back, things should pick up. Even with full health, they are not as talented as last year, or the year before. The difference will be the defense. If they can keep this play up, the sky’s the limit.

As a Bucs fan. I feel like I’m at a perfect beach day with sweet senoritas and margaritas. NO WAY. Brady and this offense wastes the amazing defense like we had now or in the past. I used to bet on games with Dilfer and King as our Q.B. starters because our defense was so good. The offense just can’t be worse then the years we.just wished Winston or Dilfer would just hand it off or take a knee when we had leads.

Jones may well be finished. they’ve minimized his torn PCL as not as serious as a torn ACL.. BUT ,it is still serious. A PCL tear can only be repaired with surgery–NO amount of rehab is going to fix it . they should at least put him on IR and sign OBJ

OBJ had his ACL surgery repair about 6 wks after Godwin had his -so he would definitely be better than Miller or Darden for the 2nd half of the season.. . Jones is Not going to be effective-if he plays at all.
