Bucs Will Play Chiefs On Sunday Night In Tampa
September 29th, 2022Joe will keep this simple.
The Bucs have announced that Sunday night’s Super Bowl LV rematch is on as planned — in Tampa.
It appears an announcement is forthcoming on how the game also will double as a hurricane relief effort raising funs and resources for neighboring communities.

Good. That Minneapolis BS was rediculous, even though I’m sure it’s nice up there this time of year. They have a badass stadium also, but can never say no to your home crowd.

This stuff about it being a bad look to play the game is BS…….the Buc & NFL could use the game to promote aid to the victims…..

That’s great news. By the way, am I the only one who thinks Brady would be better off without the biotch he is married to? Just saying.

The game is going to be on national TV NBC and I am sure they will televise a way for people to donate money to help the ones who lost everything due to Hurricane IAN. It will also give some a break from dealing with the hurricane.

Sensible decision. Now win the game.

Good move. Most of the area west of downtown is like nothing happened. Good for donations to our friends to the south.

A little sad I won’t get to see them up here in Minny, but happy that they will get to play at home. I hope the NFL does the right thing and raises/donates a lot to storm victims and relief efforts.
Go Bucs!

Just be ready Bucs. KC is no joke. I am sure they will be super ready after a loss.

Sunday nights game is perfect for bringing nationwide attention to all Floridians suffering from Hurricane Ians devastating damage. Great opportunity for relief funding for them as well as our coastal brethren in Ga and Carolinas. I don’t understand why some would rather the opportunity just shut up and go elsewhere.
God Bless You All

The one thing that is surprising is that the worst part of the storm was the southeast quadrant, that’s not normal, it’s normally the northeast quadrant. I know watching live video from people in the eyewall, in the northeastern part of the storm, for a CAT4, borderline CAT5, it just didn’t look that intense, it looked like a borderline CAT2 storm. But later, once we started getting footage out of places like Fort Meyers Beach, then you could see where the heavy damage was.
But, as always, the best place to be in one of these hurricanes is the center of the line when you’re 5-days out, because you can rest assured it will not end up going there. But it’s still impressive that a full 10-days out, when no storm even existed yet, that both the GFS and Eurotrash computer models formed this storm and had it hitting Florida as a major hurricane. When I posted that here, someone said you can’t predict where a storm is going when it doesn’t even exist. Shows how far behind the times people are.

Yeah, without this game, people around the country wouldn’t even know a hurricane took place. It’s like when NFL players would wear pink to raise awareness of breast cancer — prior to them doing that, no one even know breast cancer existed. Raising awareness of issues is literally the most important thing that anyone can do — well, you know, short of actually doing something about it. But if you claim to ‘raise awareness’, then you can claim to have done something without spending a penny out of pocket. It’s brilliant!
Great post.

Well you are certainly raising awareness that you are an a-hole.
