Tom Brady Says Ring Finger On His Throwing Hand Will Be Sore All Week

TV cameras caught Tom Brady pulling/adjusting his right ring finger yesterday early in the game and on the sidelines.
This evening, Brady addressed what happened.
The Goat talked about it on Let’s Go, his weekly show on SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio.
“I banged it up pretty good,” Brady said of his finger. “But, you know, it didn’t affect me at all in the game. It’s just going to be sore throughout the week. One of those bumps and bruises that come along with playing, different things, you get kicked, you get kneed and all these things come up. It’s demolition derby out there. It’s who can recover fast enough in order to put yourself in a position to practice, prepare and then go play well the next week.”
It’s great to hear Brady say the banged up finger didn’t affect him. But can anyone believe Brady here? The guy has covered up a lot of injuries in his career.
Also, it’s a little interesting to Joe that Brady referenced how it’s important for a player to recover so he can practice, yet Brady is talking off Wednesdays all season. There were several weeks last season when Brady didn’t miss a practice.
Regardless, that banged up hand of Brady’s threw a dagger of a touchdown strike to Breshad Perriman to beat the slimy Saints. The Bucs are 2-0 and are the standout bullies of the NFC.

I’m a little concerned that various things are affecting him. 18 of 34 is garbage. I hope he’s still got enough to have some big games. I’m glad we’re able to win with defense, but we’re gonna have to put up some points in some of these games… Meanwhile, looks like winning ugly is going to be the norm until were get our receivers healthy.

It didn’t look like anything serious. I’ve watched the replay several times. He was shaking his hand after the play. Almost more of an embarrassment injury excuse to me. Remember this is the same guy who said he didn’t forget a down, when he obviously did.

Amazing he admitted his finger hurts. Bucs are usually tight lipped about injuries. Heck, did we ever find out what Jensen’s injury is?

Since we’re probably going to be playing all second string receivers next week anyway, might as well put in Gabbert or Trask who are used to throwing to them.

Brady messed up and he was holding his ring finger on the hand that CLEARLY did not have anything to do with why he dropped the ball.
Personally, I don’t care that he botched the snap. IT HAPPENS TO THE BEST OF THEM.
What I want to know is why? I think it is clear his ring finger on the opposite hand was not actually hurt. The booth guys knew that. EVERYONE with a brain knows that.
SO, I am SPECULATING HERE (cause that’s the fun thing to do it seems) that Brady was distracted in real time (just like all fear pushes told us to do) by thoughts of his wife being jealous of him being up a young man’s arse vs hers. Then he acknowledges her. Wink Wink, my ring finger is hurt, as the cameras zoomed in.
Granted, I could be wrong.
BUT…….
Then he got pissed and lead the Bucs the eventual win. Just cause thats what he does when he gets ticked off for one reason or another. END OF SPECULATION.

We had several drops in that game…….Lenny, Kieft, Scotty 2, Perriman….
One problem is ha holdover from last year….our 3rd down pass selections are too high percentage….we needed more passes to backs & TEs.

So what, Tom Brady (the GOAT) is not practicing on Wednesdays. He will still be in meetings on Wednesday just not take part in the physical practice. The dude is 45 years old and it is important that we have a Brady that is fresh in January and February. Him not being on the practice field one day a week is not going to hurt the team.

Since we are talking about injuries…….does anyone agree with me that we should have better answers regarding Hicks & Wells by now…….at least tested negative on MRIs or Xrays…..something

Seems like TB could use a little practice. His numbers haven’t been great and he’s had a turnover in each game. At least get some work in on your snap exchange with a new center. Instead, Tommy rants and raves blaming everyone around as he tosses equipment like a toddler at bedtime. Prima Donna, had his 11 day vacation after a 42 day retirement and to make up for lost time, takes off Wednesdays. His level of entitlement hardly sounds like a team player.

Most vets have veteran days off. Are we really questioning Brady’s work ethic? This isn’t a personal day. He will be in the building watching film and in meetings. Bowles laid out that other players will also have vet days all season. This is a total non story. Thursday is really the most important day of the week. It’s the install day.
Snowflakes like ChiBuc getting upset about some guy showing emotion is embarrassing. This isn’t the first outburst Brady has had and it won’t be the last.

Why do posters keep pushing Suh? It makes no sense at all. Suh will be 36 years old in 5 months and hasn’t played a down of football this year. Also it’s not like he was dominate last year because he was far from that. You Suh supporters need to get over it. He is retired from football and that’s it period!
