“It Felt Like He Was The Head Coach Still”
September 8th, 2022Yes, it’s still ok to call Bucco Bruce Arians “Coach.”
He’s an advisor to general manager Jason Licht nowadays, but more accurately, Arians is being paid by Team Glazer to just about whatever he feels like doing at One Buc Palace. What a gig!
Among other things, Arians is coaching to some degree. It’s no secret, but players rarely talk about it.
Mike Evans went there this week when asked by former Bucs cornerback Richard Sherman about the transition from Arians to head coach Todd Bowles.
“It’s been similar,” Evans told The Richard Sherman Podcast. “You know, [Arians and Bowles] are boys and their coaching style is the same way. It’s been a smooth camp.”
Is “Arians still in everyone’s ear?” Sherman asked.
“Yeah he is, especially at joint practices,” Evans replied. “It felt like he was the head coach still, like how he was talking to the officials and stuff like that. So it’s good to have him around still.”
Joe’s glad Arians is around. And Joe is sure Arians respects boundaries and that Bowles appreciates what Arians can offer if called upon.

And then this. My follow up comment from the last article to this one.

Football kicks off today, and the woke warriors at BSPN have, as their top story, an article about the Glazers.
Good, you think, it’s about how they talked Brady out of retirement or something? Nope, the SJW’s there think Americans want to talk about soccer today, and how mad the hooligan Manchester United fans have been since the Glazers bought them in 2005. LOL! Yeah, that’s the stop story in American sports today, not the NFL kicking off, but soccer.
Morons.

I just posted this in the Lombardi Lenny asking to be released thread.
Even the fiercest B.A. haters have no idea how much they owe him. He forever changed this franchise for the better just by being a part of it. His experience and relationships then landed the GOAT who immediately delivered a Championship. Please keep B.A. employed in any capacity at 1 Buc. Just having him around puts a smile on my face. Thanks Coach! I feel fortunate to have seen Dungy and B.A. put Tampa on the map. Appreciative of both of them.

No BA, no Brady, no Super Bowl.
September 8th, 2022 at 3:39 pm
BA was not a good coach. Brady had to change the game plan and worked his magic they led to a Super Bowl win . Absent Brady the Bucs are mediocre .
Running off AB was not intelligent . We all know AB was a nut case but he was still at the top of his game .

Oh George – it’s time for your nap.
September 8th, 2022 at 4:20 pm
And Thorazine.
September 8th, 2022 at 4:52 pm
Well if BA was not a good coach, George, then following your logic, you aren’t a good commenter.
Get out your pom-poms and cheer this team on, buddy. Anything less would be uncivilized.

Hahaha. Yes sir 87. I like to hear that. Love me some B.A. Lets go Bucs!

Cmurda
We have been more blessed to have Tommy in the building.
The Glazers should have given Tommy the same contract that Fox gave him.
We need Tom in the building for the next 10 years.
Tommy has the mojo. He has the magic. He’s got the energy that transforms others.
The Glazers should offer an ownership stake or a 10 year deal.
Fudge Fox.
We need Tommy in Tampa forever!

He was not “shuffled off”. Bruce Arians has had more than one health issue for several years. That is why he had retired for a year before coming to us as our head coach. He accomplished his first mission when we got our latest Lombardi. Now he is contributing in other ways.
Go Bucs! The real “America’s Team” in waiting. Kick Cowboys butt!
September 9th, 2022 at 7:33 am
It’s nice to have a team where everyone in the building wants a ring more than they want credit.
Cherish these days Bucs fans!

Alas, joint practices where BA got to feed his ego. Hmmm let me think, who wasn’t at joint practices when BA was feeding his ego? Brady told the Glaziers, I don’t care what you do with him, just keep him away from me and MY offense.
