Todd Bowles May Let The Music Play
August 1st, 2022The silence at One Buc Palace, a trademark of the Bucco Bruce Arians regime, may not continue this summer.
Arians didn’t believe in music in practice, which is typical at most training camps across the NFL.
So far with Todd Bowles, it’s been quiet at minicamp and training camp. Joe asked Bowles today if he’s a no-music guy. The head coach said he’s had practice music with previous teams and he’s open to adding it.
Donovan Smith has been the only player lobbying to add spice to the practice scene, Bowles said. Joe’s heard Smith’s music in the locker room. Smith isn’t looking for smooth jazz.
“We’ll work out some kind of deal,” Bowles said.

Good, cuz according to Ira, Lawrence Welk wasn’t going to be very well received.

Tech Nine would be my choice. I dont keep up with today’s goods so can’t imagine what DSmith would miss blocks listening to.

Vivace classical music should be played. Mozart concertos etc. Not noise from the hood.

So long as it isn’t the horrible Bon Jovi music that Bill always cranked up, I’m all for it. Beavis and Butt-Head aptly described it as wuss music.

The only music that should play at practice, is the NFL films tunes. The autumn wind, and such. “The autumn wind is a pirate, blustering in from sea, with a rollicking song he sweeps along”

What poetry

They should play C&C Music Factory and Marky Mark on an endless loop – except for if they do something special in practice, like a kicker makes a 70-field goal or something, then they can work in some Paula Abdul.

GOB, I am with you on the NFL film music.
I play in a few different music groups and unfortunately haven’t got anyone to agree to play with me yet on a good arrangement of “Roundup” by Sam Spence.

@buc boy…you sound like a moron. You must have never played organized sports in your life. I won’t even give you the glory you are so vehemently seeking by repeating the trash that you typed but, I will say this…ALL music is an expression of art. When I played football and ran track at St. Pete’s finest, Northeast Highschool, I routinely listened to music (not called classical) to get pumped for my games and or track events. Such a shame. You speak quietly but yet so loud. Todd Bowles, blast the tunes and fellas ball out. By the way Buc boy, I’m a life long, die hard BUC fan. A true BUC fan born and raised across the Howard Franklin…in the hood. Go BUCS!!!!

2 Legit, 2 Legit 2 Quit!! I remember that use to be the Falcons theme song back when Deion was the real Neon. I can still see him bust a move on the sidelines. But then you got to mix it up some. How bout makin Licht happy, and playin AC/DC, Thunderstruck! uh-wah-uh-wah-wah-uh-wah-wah, Thunder!! I think Thunderstruck would be a great fire-up tune to play right before game time. Get everybody’s juices flowin!
