Jerry:
Joe hopes all four rookies come through.
And no, Joe will not make any cracks about each of the rookies mastering their own domain.

I did not like the way they tossed the vets aside, although Brooks is the only one I think they should have kept around. BUT, their plan of wiping the slate clean and building with youth, from the coach to the players, seems to have these guys really bonding together. Hopefully they do come together and push each other on the field and in practice. Can not wait to see them play throughout the year and watch the progress. Just have to temper the enthusiasm because, more than likely, a couple of the rookies and second year guys will dissappoint.

@Dave
They definitely should’ve kept Brooks around, but I also thought they should’ve kept Warrick Dunn around too. I didn’t think it made any sense to let him go, and then go spend blockbuster money on Ward who they didn’t even use anywhere near enough. Besides we already had Graham around, and Cadillac’s future not certain so why not just keep using Dunn until Cadillac was certain to play?? He could’ve been kept as a 3rd string back and still played a role. Warrick actually was solid in 08, I think he ran for 800 yards and 3 TD’s. Yeah he’s old and all, but he showed that he had good health and could still play. It’s not like he was going to be starting or anything like that. Just as an insurance 3rd or maybe 2nd string back if someone got hurt.
