Gerald McCoy Hounded At Rays Game

Ah, the life of a football celebrity in a football town. That’s what Bucs rookie defensive tackle and newly-deemed savior of the Bucs defense Gerald McCoy is finding out.
Seems GMC has some good box seats behind the Rays dugout for tonight’s game with the Red Sox. Attending the game with Stylez White, GMC, after stealing someone’s fries, apparently agreed to pose for a photo.

Pretty soon, so many Bucs fans wanted a photo of GMC, he’s about to leave the game.
How does Joe know this? Because Joe follows GMC on Twitter and GMC has documented his night.
Now the pictures have begun! I gave one and now they continue. Might have to leave game early!
Com’on people, let GMC enjoy the game. The way Matt Garza is pitching, GMC and Stylez will be leaving anyway because it’s a blowout.
At least wait for GMC to get up and leave before you ask for a photo.
Joe has been following GMC before the draft and his Twitterings are very entertaining and hardly malicious or mean or even provocative. Just clean fun.
Joe does hope GMC continues to Twitter and doesn’t begin spreading agent-driven speculation.

It’s stuff like that that ruins autographs and pictures for others because the players eventually get sick of it and don’t want to do it anymore.
DO NOT ask for autographs and pics when they are trying to enjoy a game or eating dinner etc… people are pathetic.
I have never been into autographs, makes no sense to me, they are just people. BUT if you are going to ask for some, have some common sense and respect about it.
As for the Rays:
BENCH Upton & Pena for about a week and lock them in the batting cage.
Stick Sean r in center and Blalock at 1b.

Bingo Dave! Let these guys enjoy the game. Maybe ask them if you see them in the concourse but not while they are sitting in their seats.
Upton has never recovered from his shoulder surgery.
Pena is a friggin’ windmill. Modern day Dave Kingman (or worse, Rob Deer). Yeah, great guy and maybe better glove but does that glove save more runs than he men on base he strands?
On the bright side (?), the Rays could resign him next year at a rock bottom rate.

I agree with everyone else about leaving him alone, but this is the first time something like this has happened to him (on an NFL level anyway)… you gotta think he enjoyed it on some level. I’m sure after the novelty wears off, he might start getting annoyed like every other star.
But atleast it lets him know that people in Tampa know whats going on with the Bucs and they are watching him! Your on the clock Gerald, make us proud.

Getting swept at home by the Red Sox in front of all the transplant Boston fans was absolutely sickening. Go back to Boston if you like it so much you stupid morons!
God I hope the Magic beat the Celtics. First the Bruins and now the Celtics both lose after being up 3 games to 0. That would be sweet.

I hope Kevin Durant and Oklahoma City light it up next year in playoffs. We could be seeing GMC on national TV during the off season as well. Always good to see Bucs on TV when they are not playing. National TV exposure contributes to achieving about 25% of Star status.
