Yes we finally made it to the 2022 NFL draft. Now just need the Bucs to walk away with a DT, DE/OLB, ILB and TE in the first 4 Rnds. Maybe a punter & a RB in Rnd 7 too.

Ok, I am resigned to CB/S in this opening round with the hope that Winfrey or Hall will be there at 60. I think we will pick up a decent guard in 3-4. Cole strange, Hayes, or Parham. Top it off with a decent WR or RB in 4.

I got a lot worse than a ruler on my hands. I had a former Center of the Kutztown State football team give me a “concave chest.” That was a sideways punch to the chest as hard as he could throw it, which knocked me down to the ground. This was done in front of the class. Ernie Savakis was his name. I looked up his obituary and felt good when I saw it. He was a substitute teacher and I was a wise@ss.

I think we’ve learned from Licht’s drafts that he doesn’t take who everyone thinks he’ll take. I’ve heard a lot about Cine/Zion, who I like, I just don’t think he’ll take either. I think we go Hall, McBride or the Tackle from Tulsa in the first round. Maybe Elam if he is available. Also, I trust anything this front office and coaching staff does (have people forgotten how we became SB champs in one year after sucking for 15 straight?). That being said, my lone mock draft:
1. Hall (DT, Houston).
2. Taylor-Britt (CB, Nebraska).
3. Kinnard (OG, Kentucky).
4. Ferguson (TE, Wisconsin).
7. Duncan (S, Louisville)

Guzman… The season is several months away, try to be positive for once. Their pass defense ended up doing pretty good for all the injuries they had and they’re going to be better just based on the fact that they’re healthy.

They had one game with their starters.
They added some good safeties and Dean is way better than most of you people think. I’m not saying they’re great, they have a lot of work to do, but they are young and there’s no reason that if they stay healthy they should improve. With Jordan Davis gone I hope they take CINE out of Georgia, that would give them a few safeties that can play safety or slot.
Then they could take DT from UConn in round 2 most likely.

I know mocks had Zion Johnson going to the Buccaneers but I never bought it. I haven’t seen anything affecting the Buccaneers draft yet. Everyone who has been selected was expected to be gone (except maybe Zion).

Dewey, Trey McBride is a move tight end who is willing but isn’t a great blocker.
I think the draft has to be bigtime defense and trenches, but Gronk is a problem. Will he even come back this year?
Jeremy Ruckert, Jalen Wydermeyer, Jake Ferguson are TEs in this draft with blocking potential, rds 3-6. I’d just hate to see these picks going to offense at all.
No free agents block that well. If forced to go FA, all that’s left are Eric Ebron, Kyle Rudolph types.

EXACTLY! Many here seem upset but it’s been a consensus that the Buccaneers need to take D-line or DB and the top ones were taken early and expected to be gone anyway , so a lot of other ones are dropping.
As for TE, anything before round 3 is a reach at that position this year

Francisco Guzman – Johnson is an edge rusher isn’t he? Wyatt’s highlights and combine looks great – for a DE in a 3-4, he looks like he has a great first step, I think he’s going to produce a good number of sacks, might get you 8-10 from a DE in 3-4, which is fantastic production if true.
Then again I’m not a scout so I could be wrong.
I don’t know his domestic abuse claims, but I do know a bunch of white knights out will just run their mouths without knowing anything. The team knows more than we do, so if he’s selected, they know what they’re getting – if they skip on him, then they know something as well. In any case I’ll leave it up to the team on that issue.

I thought we got a 4th and 5th, but we only a 4th and 6th? That’s a really weak trade to go back that far.
Whoever they’re going to draft they must know will be there at 33. Probably going to be Trey McBride.
With the top pick to start the 2nd, they would be wise to shop the pick, try to get at least another 4th.
Kind of a disappointing return though, must not have been much demand for 27.
