Edge for me. I really wanted to pick defensive tackle, but man, pass rushers are worth their weight in gold. I’m cool with pretty much anything, but if Olave falls to us…Get em!
Best available…but would love to see either Defensive Tackle or Edge Rusher. It’s not surprising that those two positions are heavily weighted in the survey.
Defensive tackle with first round pick only if one of the top guys is there
Otherwise go edge rusher as it is deepest position in draft so top guy likely there
Corner is second deepest in draft which i think is a need after last year and injuries.
Or trade back for extra pick then maybe you take the one d tackle joe wrote about Jones in second
But wouldn’t be upset with Guard from BC either.
So yah all of the above 😂
Best available. I don’t want another JTS with our first rounder (another project). There’s plenty of positions on the BUCS where our first could make an immediate impact. I love to stock the trenches but if there’s no value wait till next year. I think we may get a chance to draft a safety that’ll be better than all our other safeties except Winfield and that may be true in the second round also. There maybe a wide receiver that’s better than Gage. The top linebacker maybe available at 27.
I think instead of DT, it should just say defensive line – I assume that is what is meant since Vita is the only DT starter we have, even if he only plays 44% of defensive snaps. Drafting another guy at DT, should actually be for DE to (hopefully) sit behind Suh. Also, I would have sworn that Gholston got a 3-year deal, but he didn’t, he got a 1-year deal with some void years, and the Bucs don’t have jack at DE. Ideally you don’t want defensive lineman playing a ton of minutes in their first year since they’re generally awful, so if someone is available there, you should probably take them.
As for the offensive line — Licht can find a guard in the 2nd or 3rd round. Now if an OT fell, maybe you take them. They can serve as a backup for a year. Keep in mind that Donovan Smith makes a ton of money next year and the Bucs are already $31m over the cap next season. While they got lucky with Wirfs, again, at OT it’s often better to let a guy sit and learn for a year (at guard they can start as a rookie).
Any position other than QB, RB, WR, TE, S, K, or P.
Take the best value/player on the board. We could use new blood at Corner, LB, D-line, and O-line.
If I was to bet I would say either plug-and-play Guard, pass rusher, or LB as a dark horse pick.

Start paying attention to your Defense Bucs. Other teams have improved greatly.

Tight end in round 2. Even if Gronk is back.

Needed to add trade down as one of the options.

Bucs have ONE tight end: Cam Brate
