Team Glazer Now Takes Center Stage

February 1st, 2022

Team Glazer

UPDATED 10:23 a.m. – Welcome to Crossroads 2022 for our beloved Buccaneers.

Tom Brady officially has retired and it’s time for major change.

And whenever the team is in that situation, Team Glazer emerges as the driving force at One Buc Palace.

So what’s next?

Is Team Glazer willing to go all-in to win a weak NFC South and help Bucco Bruce Arians pad his Hall of Fame credentials?

Or does Team Glazer advise general manager Jason Licht to take a more long-term approach because it’s likely in the best interest of building a lasting contender?

Joe highly doubts Team Glazer would sign off on a radical quarterback trade for whiny Aaron Rodgers or creepy DeShaun Watson. But Joe has no doubt the ownership group would be interested in a veteran to get the Bucs back to the top of the mountain next season. Not only would that make sense, but the NFL is a copycat league and everyone sees what the Rams have accomplished with Matthew Stafford.

Obviously, how the Bucs approach this giant fork in the road is critical on many levels. Team Glazer loves being in the shadows, but don’t ever question their influence on all big-picture football and non-football happenings.

Perhaps no greater call to be made is the Bucs’ future at head coach and how that will be approached and handled — and potentially communicated to 2022 free agents. It’s a longshot that Arians will be coaching in 2023.

UPDATE: Today’s Team Glazer statement per the team’s official website.

“Tom arrived in Tampa Bay with an unprecedented level of expectations and delivered some of the most memorable moments in our franchise history,” wrote the Glazer family in a statement on Tuesday morning. “His impact on our team and community was immediate and profound. Tom’s remarkable NFL journey has come to an end, but we will continue to celebrate his legendary career as the greatest quarterback of all time and are appreciative and grateful for the time he spent as a Buccaneer. Saying goodbye to a legend is never easy, but we wish him continued success in retirement.”

  1. Buc4evr Says:

Aaron Rodgers or bust. Whatever it takes.

  2. shale Says:

Lure Andrew Luck out of retirement. There are Arians ties……

  3. Gunnin4Ya Says:

They have one job. Give Licht the permission to go get Deshaun Watson.

Sac up gang, and go get Deshaun!!

  4. HC Grover Says:

Why should we keep Ariens to pad his retirement account for one disaster year? Our free agents are heading for the hills. Will he be stalking the sideline on a hoveround? Clean house and hire Kiffin just for fun while we rebuild.

  5. Killian Says:

How do we get Rodgers and Devante Adams?!?!

  6. Gunnin4Ya Says:

“Joe highly doubts Team Glazer..” lol.

    So, that’s what “Joe” thinks.

Go get 15 years of relevance. Every season kickoff. Deshaun Watson.

  7. Vincente Fernandez Says:

All I ask is they keep this organization the way Brady left it.

  8. FortMyersDave Says:

I think the Glazers will try an approach where they can field a team that can get 9 or 10 wins given that the ATL is going nowhere with Matty Ice, the Panthers stink and the Aint’s are about to bottom out with the loss of BountyGate Payton and a very bad salary cap issue. Whether they try to do this with Trask or a capable NFL journeyman (Carr, Jimmy G) is up to Licht and Bucco Bruce. I do not think Bucco Bruce is going to want to coach through a multi-year rebuild so I guess the front office will try to win another division title with him before he decides to step down as well.

  9. zzbucs Says:

I just don´t get how can we get Rodgers or wilson…..can Somebody explain me?
    Pure Science Fiction!!!!!
We don´t have the amo for that unless you give Evans or Wirfs, and of course makes ANY sense!!!…..Pure and simple!!!

  10. BuxfaninTX Says:

Nick Foles might be the guy

  11. Bird Says:

Can brady grant one last miracle. Set up replacement?

    With someone legit

Put brady in ring of honor next year too

  12. mark2001 Says:

You AR guys just don’t have a clue. He would never play here for the money we would pay him,… unless you want to cut a half dozen good players to do so. And you would have to give up multiple high draft picks. Thirdly, the guy is a cry baby, that may leave the game at any time. That would be among the worst decisions this team has ever made…and we have quite a track record.

  13. BucsCoolade Says:

    Trade bradys rights for jimmyG.

Brady has stated hes dun with Tampa so his only value is trade his rights to the only team that works. IMO.

  14. Bucanero Says:

Let’s roll with Trask. I was against the pick but that is water under the bridge. We witness the GOAT sunset in Tampa now let’s build a team for the ages. Win now mode its over but the most important thing is to keep the shift of cultura Brady brought. That will be the greates legacy TB12 will leave in Tampa Bay. Go Bucs!

  15. Christina Says:

I will take “whiny” Rogers ALL FREAKIN DAY! Go get him Jason!

  16. DBS Says:

We don’t need a proven playoff choke artist here. Or a Drama Queen.

  17. D-Rome Says:

How do we get Rodgers and Devante Adams?!?!

    Don’t sign Chris Godwin.

  18. Cobraboy Says:

The roster has a lot of younger talent.

I’d be OK for a year of getting the cap more under control.

I’d prefer not going after a QB with a high cap number, and that would require several draft picks.

Let’s see what Trask can do.

After all, aren’t there a couple of serious QB FA’s after next season?

  19. Joshua porter Says:

Don’t have enough to trade for Watson. They want like 8 first round picks ( not really but more than we have for sure )

  20. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Anything can happen. Wilson is our best bet.

  21. Coburn Says:

So do we figure he will keep his house there in Tampa and spend some time around community still? Seemed to really like it there

  22. gotbbucs Says:

No big QB trades. None of that nonsense.

Saints are going to have to purge half their roster, Falcons are down, Panthers are down. Play good football and it shouldn’t be overly hard to win the NFC South while they reload the roster. They have to see what they have in Trask, possibly with Gabbert bridging the gap.

Bucs fans got spoiled the last two years. You have to think realistically here now. They kicked a bunch of cap savings for this year down the road to the next couple years, so we can’t afford to go drunken sailor and trade for a $30+ million dollar QB.

Just be cool people. We had fun. Now it’s time to come back to reality a little bit.

  23. BrianBucs Says:

Tom Brady made Tampa Bay Buccaneers football relevant again.
After 5 horrible years with Jaymiss Winston at QB and numerous years before that with bad coaching choices and weak rosters the Bucs were nothing more than an afterthought with a half empty stadium and no media attention.
That all changed with Mr. Brady coming to town.
The Glazers have had a big taste of that now so we will see if they make the big splash or try to rebuild.
Tom Brady made football here relevant again.
Let’s all hope the Glazers decide to keep it that way

  24. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

It’s no coincidence that both our rings came with veteran QBs

  25. Buc4evr Says:

Trade whoever we can along with 1st round draft picks to get Rodgers. The Glazers have seen the tremendous impact an elite QB can make to the team, the fans, and the bottom line. Jason can find a way.

  26. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Trade nothing. Wait to see how FA shake out. There are always surprise releases.

  27. rrsrq Says:

I thought Brady would hold off a year, because he would not want to be in the same HOF class with Big Ben, just kidding. that class will have three first ballot in Big Ben, TB and Gronk.

  28. Austin Says:

Aaron Rodgers would love florida, Russell Wilson too

  29. Pewter Power Says:

The hell!!! What do you mean it’s time for major change? We had a talented team that is why Brady came here in the first place. It’s dumb when people start talking about rebuilding because Brady retired

  30. David Says:

Excellent point. If they get the right quarterback there’s a good chance they can still retain Jensen and Godwin and some of the guys on defense and make a run… But are the Glazer‘s willing to go all in like that? Do they go with Trask and see what they have in him?

I keep thinking Russell Wilson might be good but Never even considered Deshaun Watson. I think he would by far be the best when you’re talking about pure talent and salary cap hit, he could probably be had for cheap right now.

I’ll be honest though, I have not followed anything to do with his Offield stuff. I don’t know what it’s about, I don’t know if he’s eligible to come back to play or he’s been suspended etc.

  31. mark2001 Says:

D Rome… agree at that point, we don’t sign Godwin, or any other of our quality FA’s…and cut another half dozen good players. Adams will likely be franchised so forget that. Additionally, It would probably cost multiple picks…first and second rounders. And the guy could retire in one year or less if he got miffed. These folks forwarding this know nothing about things like salary caps, obviously.

  32. ncbucsfan Says:

Whoever we get, they must immediately go on the TB12 diet/workout plan and hire Bradys trainer.

  33. mike Says:

So what is Brady’s cap hit for 2022???

  34. alaskabuc Says:

Licht better be on the phone right now with Jensen and Godwin’s agents, securing those two with promises of riches, a pro-bowl caliber QB and a new head coach.

  35. Gunnin4Ya Says:

Reading all these comments, you all are so poorly informed, misguided on what the Bucs can and can’t do…good gracious.

  36. Bruce Blahak Says:

Save The Licht House….sign godwin and our defensive free agents. Make Bucs Defense Great Again.

  37. Tampabaybucfan Says:

I’d love to lure Luck out of retirement……the best alternative to that might be Carr…..he’s affordable $19m…….wouldn’t need too much to trade for him.

Barring that, I’d role the dice with Trask…..and build the best team we can around him.

If he doesn’t cut it…..pick up a FA QB in 23….

The problem is that there is a week QB class and many teams looking.

  38. Bruce Blahak Says:

    and Jensen yes

  39. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

Licht needs to be a GM starting right now because his crappy drafts are catching up with the bucs like a meteor. Bucs need corners, TE, probably RB, WRs, OL, edge rusher, and now a QB unless its Trask who is only qb on roster now that is signed

  40. Buddy Says:

Bucs fans about to see what everyone in that building knows already, & exactly what Gru meant when he emailed about TEAM GLAZER, they are exactly what he said and now fans will see it again. The past 2 years are only because Brady was here now you’ll see what a joke Licht and BA really are. Welcome back to empty stadium and bottom dweller status Bucs fans. LOLOLOLOL

  41. mark2001 Says:

Bruce… that phrase isn’t going to catch on. Kind of reminds me of Joes 50 word discription for Jameis. And equally persistent.

  42. Craig Says:

    First thing, sign Godwin.

Give Trask as much help as you can.

Then get a good draft plan together to reinforce the trenches.

Then roll the dice, the NFL will look different next season, and some QBs might be shaken loose, but go with Trask for next year, while Brady’s power is still in the locker room.

  43. Mike Johnson Says:

Sign DeShawn Watson. He can play, is mpbile and can pass. He will play with a big chip on his shoulder and deliver dividends. If we signed a mental case like AB, Watson should not be a problem. Watson made some mistakes. But he is not a basket case.

  44. HC Grover Says:

Now to see what Gronk does. First win our division. W/O Brady that would be a really great accomplishment. I hope they do not go with this one and done staff. The only intact team in our division with a vet QB is Atlanta. Stainks have the easiest schedule though.

  45. Evolvingbucsfan Says:

Buccaneers home page has a great tribute video for TB12

  46. mark2001 Says:

Sign Cappa and Godwin, if at all possible. Maybe Suh and Jensen if they are really interested. Suh and Vita work well together inside. Davis if possible.

I’d take my chances on some other positions.

  47. Tampabaybucfan Says:

If anyone thinks that Darcie Glazer Kassewitz will have Deshaun as the face of the franchise….they are seriously delusional.

Even in the NFL, it is possible that Watson will never see another snap.

  48. Bucanero Says:

Wow now that Gronk is a free agent will he retire too or is he going to play in Buffalo?

  49. Killian Says:

Mark 2001…let’s not pretend that we have a clue as to the inner workings of the salary cap and all the loopholes associated with it. Of course they’d have to give up draft capital for Rodgers. Who knows what kind of deal could be worked out that involves Packers eating salary, a third team, etc. I’m all for starting Trask next season, but if we intend to trade for a QB, let’s go big. We have many free agents that’ll undoubtedly move on to greener pastures if we don’t make a splash acquisition.

  50. Lesko_Brandon Says:

Go get Aaron “the freaking” Rodgers and Devante Adams. Trade all the dead weights both in the offensive and defensive team, including the OC, DC and ST coaches. Don’t even touch Watson with a ten foot pole, too many legal matters.

  51. Jersey buc Says:

Kinda left field here. I would take Matt Ryan for a few years. We have the line to protect him to let him work. He can still sling it

  52. captivajim Says:

unless and until Glazers move on from Adrians/Bowles/Leftwich—Bucs will not make the playoffs..

  53. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Pewter Power Says:
“It’s dumb when people start talking about rebuilding because Brady retired”

I agree. We have a mostly young team that is very good. We’re still a QB away from continuing to win.

  54. Bucanero Says:

    We have to sign Fournette!

  55. HC Grover Says:

Captiva, they will have to fire Ariens. He sees this year as his Last Hurrah w/o Brady getting the credit. Oh well I am sharpening my pencil up for the coming season of fun. Tom and Joe rekindled my interest in football. It is FUN to be a fan again and pontificate from the cheap seats.

  56. Hodad Says:

Aside from Watson, and his future is a big question mark, there are no other vets the caliber of Brady, or Stafford to be had. Forget Rodgers, he’s not following in Brady’s foot steps coming here. Jimmy G.? Please, the 49ers gave up a boat load of picks to replace him. Did you see what he did when the game was put on his shoulders Sunday? Maybe it’s time to just rip off the bandaid, and let the healing begin.

  57. SKBucsFan Says:

The priority is to get Tom Brady to stay on with the team in some capacity. Even as QB coach… equipment manager…anything! He needs to do something to keep him busy or he will go crazy. Why not have him on staff?

  58. Gunnin4Ya Says:

    Chuckles…

    TBBF…the intellectual stalwart

    Chuckle chuckle

  59. Tacklebockwin Says:

Trask will get his shot now regardless if you want to see it or not. He is inexpensive currently on rookie contract. This team was in WIN NOW mode when we drafted him at end of Rd 2 instead of a drafting another position. The Bucs would not have drafted him that high if they didn’t think he had a real shot at developing and taking over. No way Bucs give draft picks away and trade for FA QB under contract. Get that idea outta your head. Strap in tight Bucs fans, it’s about to be Trask time.

  60. mark2001 Says:

Killian..let’s not pretend that we have a clue as to the inner workings of the salary cap and all the loopholes associated with it.

Bologna Killian. The cap isn’t rocket science. And it can be manipulated in the short term But did you ever pay any attention to the Packers? They have lost many of their best O linemen almost every year, and many other good players becaue Rodgers insists on being paid every dime he can squeeze out of the team. Rodgers has one SB victory under his belt. He may win one with some team that is willing to go into cap hell for a few years after that one. But will likely choke, just leaving the team with a mountain of salaries to be paid and no cap space. And that isn’t even talking about the crippling effect of lost first and second round draft picks.

  61. Mike Says:

I say we roll with the young guys and see if they can develop. Start Trask, let Jensen go and plug in Hainsey, let Cappa go and plug in Stennie, let Fournette and Rojo go and go with Vaughn, let Suh go and draft his replacement, etc. I do think we need to do what we can to resign Godwin though. He’s someone I would like to see with the Bucs for the long term.

  62. Fishhawkbuc Says:

We have nowhere near the salary cap to take on Aaron Rodgers.

  63. Owlykat2 Says:

Trask is an amazing talent. He is all We need! He can throw accurate deep passes. He is a humble person too—no Prima Donna. Has a great head on his shoulders too. All You have to do is ask Alabama’s Coach and He can tell You that Trask scared Him even more than any other opposing QB. The Buc’s are not going to find a better choice other than Brady himself. The Bucs should ask Brady who they should go with now. Brady should know it is Trask because they worked out together. I am sure that Trask has learned a lot just watching how Brady prepared. Trask is the MAN!

  64. Biff Barker Says:

Didn’t Brady need to be on the roster Feb 4th to get his roster bonus Joe ?

  65. PassingThru Says:

How could Tampa Bay afford Aaron Rodgers, let alone tempt him? Rodgers isn’t going to sign a team-friendly, Tom Brady contract.

  66. Hodad Says:

Joe, I think BA follows him out the door. I think the Glazers will keep him employed as a consultant like Parcell’s did after his coaching days. I also think BL takes over to keep continuity with Trask. Your thoughts?

  67. Rayjay1122 Says:

Can we get Luke McClown or Mike Glennon highlights going so whoever is next will look good? Hard to watch highlights of TB12 right before trashy QB at in the future. Maybe we get lucky and somebody can be an overachiever like maybe Trask if given the chance. I am not very excited about what is out there currently. Possibly Carr if he could be acquired? IDK. Sucky day.

  68. Listnfrmafar Says:

Let BA suffer through 2022 and show his true colors like he made Brady suffer through 2021.

  69. BucsCoolade Says:

The idea that brady retired for family time with his kids is crazy at the age of 44 when hes still at the top of the league.

His own words…”. I play until I suck.”

So he can still come out of retirement for any team so long as tampa trades his contract rights. Just like gronk did. The team is SF.

  70. Cobraboy Says:

    Trask is an underachiever?

    Au Contraire, casual fan.

Trask is a serious overachiever if you cared to look into his history.

He’s been an underdog wherever he’s played…and proven his detractors wrong every time.

But not at the pro level.

    Yet.

  71. Bradinator Says:

I wouldn’t mind Carr or Russell Wilson, but the rest of those names, no thanks. Rodgers is either going nowhere OR to Denver with old OC. As far as Watson is concerned, he isn’t out of the woods with the law or the NFL. He is going to miss games for sure, but how many is the question. Also hasn’t picked up a ball in over a year. Trask had a chance to watch and work with the GOAT, if he took advantage of it, we could benefit in a big way. Get God win back. Keep Jensen, let Cappa go. Draft a RB in the middle rounds

  72. DrunkInYbor Says:

We were lucky to have him. To end his career in the playoffs coming from down 27-3 to almost send it into overtime if not for some stupid stupid Defensive calls. I can see why he quit. Did he want another year of carrying this team only to have some dumb ass mistakes ruin it. I really really like Todd Bowles but his blitzing to end that game is unforgivable and why Brady said I’m done..also why do idiots keep blitzing Stafford! He’s the best in the league while being blitzed seems to me it’s. Dc ego over the team

  73. Kalind Says:

Rodgers or Wilson. Basically no price is too high.

  74. TBTeddy Says:

Y’all back with the loser mentality and Brady ain’t been retired a day yet 😩. All y’all cap specialist worried about contracts, future seasons, inspecting Kyle Trash / Trask , and other unremarkable qb options. WE PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!! 😂 Let’s blow some more money, make some trades, take some risk on some players & keep winning. Like how other teams find ways to be in contention every year.

  75. BucsFan81 Says:

Let the re build begin. I think BA will move to some type of president of football operations role. BL will be the new head coach. That’s why the talks with the jaguars are done.

  76. T REX Says:

The staff and Licht are why Brady retired.

They suck and Tom saw that they are incapable of helping him win another.

Tom saw the writing on the wall. Arians and his golf cart were a dead end.

  77. #1bucsfan Says:

Go get Russel Wilson. That not only would be entertaining but maybe we even get another champ.

  78. HC Grover Says:

Hope Brady stays living in S TPA it is the best big city left to raise his family and great for taxes. He could not do better for his HQ.

  79. Rick Says:

If we trade for a QB so we can attempt to win now… then it makes the Kyle Trask pick even more pointless. Anything other than letting that 2nd round QB play when the spot opens up makes the pick pointless.

  80. firethecannons Says:

Damn! hard to accept but here we are. Lets roll with Kyle Trask and draft heavy defense and free agency heavy defense. Make it the best damned defense our money and picks will buy. Let the offense gel sign that tight end cody mcelroy he had good chemistry with Trask. Keep our line intact–Trask might surprise with all the talent he will have to work with. Personally I don’t want Bridgewater or Minshew save our money and spend it on defense.

  81. Buc4evr Says:

HC Grover, thought Brady was building a big $20 mil mansion on Indian creek island in Miami. I don’t see him staying in Tampa with his Super model wife from Brazil.

  82. Rod Munch Says:

Can we trade Arians to someone for some picks? I mean we know he’s gone, so let’s try to get something for it.

  83. Rod Munch Says:

BTW, for those saying, how do we keep Godwin!?!? Simple answer: tag him again. The price of doing so isn’t outrageous. Ideally you get a long term deal to bring down his price this season, but the Bucs keep him if they want him.

Also you keep him by signing the guy he has his best years playing with – Jameis Winston.

  84. Jerseybuc Says:

Funny seeing my jerseybuc name used today. Come on man get your own handle I have been using this name on this site for over 5 years. Come on man Jersey space Buc try again son.

  85. Tom G Says:

Is Matty Ice going to be an F/A? He is not Brady but has good level skills and smarts, I think.

  86. bucfan999 Says:

Trade 3 first round picks to Houston for Deshaun Watson!

He’s 26 years old, already a franchise QB with a career 68% completion Percentage, 104 TD – 36 INT, Averages 400 rushing yards per year & 2 4,000+ passing yards seasons in 4 seasons. If we don’t make the trade Carolina probably does & then the NFC south is the Panthers to lose the next 10 years not ours. He is head & shoulders above the other available QB’s.

Aaron Rodgers = 39 years old next season (how much longer will he go & packers probably won’t trade him within conferance.

Russell WIlson = showed signs of slippage this season

Jimmy Garoppolo = is what he is, a middle of the road QB that gets hurt most years.

Baker Mayfield = could be intriguing

Mitchell Trubisky = 1st round pick who had poor coaching in Chicago

Ryan Tannehill = Like Garoppolo, a middle of the road QB

Carson Wentz = see Tannehill & Garoppolo

Teddy Bridgewater = No No No, afraid to throw deep….Captain checkdown was a failure in Minnesota, NY Jets, Carolina & Denver. Is a quality backup but not a starter (a low end starter at best)

  87. Rod Munch Says:

Watson would be a great successor- but I don’t know if the Bucs have the ammo. Remember other teams, mainly Miami and the Eagles, even the Giants, have a lot more draft capital because their picks are much higher.

3 first rounders in the late-20s isn’t nearly the same as one early 1st and two late 1sts.

I don’t see how the Bucs have the ammo to get him unless they throw in someone like Vita or White or Winfield.

  88. Adrnagy Says:

How do you supposed … bucs TRADE and SIGN rodgers $46mil wilson $37mil while we still have to pay brady 15mil this yr 16m next year ?

To all morons that keep sayin sign rodgers, wilson, watson. HOW ?

BRADY WAS POSSIBLE bcuz he was a FA and wanted to sign friendly contract. No other QB does a friendly contract.

  89. Gunnin4Ya Says:

At least bucfan999 and Munch are joining the enlightened!

Sac up and go get Watson!

  90. Pewter Power Says:

I’d prefer to have a quarterback battle with trask and average quarterbacks because that’s all out there and giving up first round picks is never gonna work out especially multiple ones like we did for Gruden. Maybe regardless we aren’t going to the super bowl this year so might as well see how good trask is

  91. mark2001 Says:

Maybe we need to look at the kind of QB Arians wants and start from there. We don’t need a running QB. But what we do need is…

A tall QB that can stand in the pocket and deliver the ball with composure.
A QB that can read D’s quickly and get the ball out of his hands quickly.
A QB that knows his reads and is good at making presnap calls to identify the D, and making adjustments.
A QB that is consistantly accurate with a low turnover rate. That can make deep passes accurately.
A leader on and off the field.

So the questition is, who checks off most of these “boxes”, that could be had for a reasonable amount of salary and draft compensation?

  92. Buc92’ Says:

Deshaun Watson or Trask … That simple , if Darcie wants to win she welcome Deshaun … A lot those allegations or just that allegations… No arrest no jail time … just a bunch of civil suits … He’d be the cheapest & would play the longest & definitely the most talented!

    GoBucs!

  93. THOMAS PFALZ Says:

I pity the team that signs Watson. He’s garbage.

  94. Purplepirate Says:

“He needs to do something to keep him busy or he will go crazy. Why not have him on staff?”

You really want to make Brady crazy? Have him be a powerless coach stuck on the sideline who can’t take the field when the team needs someone to lead them to victory.

  95. Purplepirate Says:

“if Darcie wants to win she welcome Deshaun … A lot those allegations or just that allegations”

Forget the assault allegations, why would you want to bring in a head case who might refuse to play anytime he doesn’t get his way like he’s doing with the Texans? That’s a huge red flag without all the other stuff.

Seriously, didn’t you learn your lesson with Brown?

  96. jimm Says:

    tom brady was the culture.

i believe he left because the culture did not take.

individual players bought in, raised their game and standards …
but the culture did not take. process, focus, attention to detail, raised standards all fell to him to initiate and maintain

the structure and process did not take within the organization.
he wasn’t willing to do that all again.

do you really think their going to get together on friday and go over the game plan and each play on the play sheet if he’s not there to do it ?
(process, focus, attention to detail, preparation) … and who knows what the defense process is once (and even if) a game plan is designed.

you know, we do what we do, does it make a difference who we’re playing?

Rodgers or Wilson are unrealistic with all all UFA’s we need to resign. I have NO doubt we make a run at a trade for Jimmy G in S.F. He posseses just enough tools B.A. would want to work with. I heard the James W. rumors but no way B.A. would take him back. I hate the thought of Teddy B. Yuck, boring and is like a modern day Brad Johnson. Just ordinary.
