Fix it then expand it… Come on!!! Stop messing around and give us a real playoff system for D-1 football. Every other college sport in the history of mankind can figure it out.
Always follow the money. Greedy pigs will eventually get slaughtered.

It’s real easy. Playoffs make more games and bowls matter. That means $$$
32 teams.
That’s 16 bowl games, then 8, 4, 2, 1
The ball games are already stretched three weeks long. There’s no reason I can’t go back into December a little more and do five weeks.
At the very minimum they should have 16 teams and go across four weeks.
Cut down on a couple of the regular season games

Both games prove that Michigan and Cincinnati were in fact not playoff teams…
Not even competitive… SEC teams will likely rule the playoffs more years than not!

Co mixing meaningless Bowl games with the playoffs diminishes all.
8 team playoff. Number 9 has no complaints.
Start first Monday night in January. That covers 7 Bowls. Pay the players.

It doesn’t need fixing. Alabama is in it, period!
