Time Served
December 20th, 2021Furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing, fake-V-card-flashing Bucs receiver Antonio Brown and fellow fake V-card flasher safety Mike Edwards have finished their sentences.
They can walk into One Buc Palace free men again.
Last night on the Buccaneers Radio Network pregame show, Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht embraced the return of Brown and Edwards after NFL warden Roger Goodell slapped the two of them with three-game suspensions for trying to pass fake V-cards.
After the game, Bucco Bruce Arians offered his first remarks on the subject after Licht made the decision public. Long story short, Arians believes the two served their three-game sentences honorably and Arians is closing the book on the incident and moving on to far more pressing matters.
“Yeah, it’s in the best interest of our football team,” Arians said. “Both of those guys have served their time and we’ll welcome them back.”
End of story.
The Bucs are trying to build another Super Bowl winner, not a non-denominational church. As former Bucs guard Ian Beckles said recently on local radio — and he is no fan of Brown — cutting Brown for flashing a fake V-card would be like prosecuting a murderer for shoplifting.
Now, did the Bucs maybe miss out on a chance to get homefield advantage in the playoffs because Brown wasn’t available last night? Perhaps. Joe won’t argue that.
For anyone saying Brown is not needed, Joe will remind you that Mike Evans and Chris Godwin and Playoff Lenny are out for who knows how long. Damn right the Bucs need Brown.
Anyone suggesting otherwise is simply desperately trying to virtue signal.

Just in time with Godwin out until the playoffs

Smart move. We all know he’s a walking disaster off the field but damn the man can ball!
Good game last night offense, smh. Pitiful, hurt or not. SORT IT OUT!!!

Someone who can get separation FINALLY
December 20th, 2021 at 7:25 am
He’ll yes, we need both of these dudes, especially Brown after last night’s travesty.

Over a hundred kung flu cases of “vaccinated” players in the NFL over the weekend. He should’ve never been forced to get the vax in the first place and he damn sure shouldn’t have even been suspended over this bs. Definitely could’ve used him and Edwards last night. Adams played well but Edwards catches that missed pick, and obviously the offense needed a lot of help
Remember, for the idiots in the back that can’t hear. The vax does not help others, it only alleviates the symptoms of the vaxed individual.

Not a second too soon…especially for Brady…who trashed the computer tablet last night a la Belichick last season. He’s frustrated beyond belief…giving stink eye to whiffing lineman, getting after Jones for tiptoeing out of bounds when 1st downs were hard to come by…getting both Brown and Edwards back should help
a ton. It’s not too late for Tampa…but it’s late in the 4th quarter of the season.

Can someone explain to me why the Glazers put up with the suspension in the first place? If I’m the team owner I just say “hahah yea we’ll think about it,” and both keep on playing.
December 20th, 2021 at 8:08 am
Guess now we find out if Arians is a man of his word.
December 20th, 2021 at 8:22 am
Dreadful…could have site used AB last night…his stupid act likely cost us the game
December 20th, 2021 at 8:24 am
Is AB healthy enough to play?
He’s been out most of the year without a suspension
December 20th, 2021 at 8:30 am
It’s called a union contract for the few that haven’t caught on yet. He broke the rules. PERIOD!
Getting him back is imperative after that showing last night and with Godwin and Evans injured.

In the best interests of the team!
Anyone who thought the Bucs should cut them aren’t Bucs fans.
Interesting way to look at it and I’m not sure I disagree.

Bruce Arians in October 2020 on Antonio Brown: “He screws up one time, he’s gone.” Arians is not a man of his word.

Winning championships is all about overcoming adversity of all sorts. Obviously, this includes off field transgressions as well as injuries. The line-up for our playoff run remains up in the air. Your guess is as good as mine. (Am I mixing metaphors now? Or just overusing cliches’?)
Anyway, I also say “Welcome back!”. All hands on deck!
Go Bucs!

Morgus, go cry somewhere else. We want the best players we can put on the field, and these two guys are two of the biggest producers we have. Both are capable of making big impact plays. This isn’t the boy scouts. This is the NFL. Production and talent reign supreme. Don’t like it? Don’t watch.
Welcome back AB. Do your thing, guy. Stunt on ’em, and make ’em mad while you laugh all the way to the endzone. Go Bucs!

If you are trying to find your morals on the football field you really have some big problems in your life they both got their punishment get over it they are back on the team because they are needed and that is how it always works in the NFL you get your punishment and you come back and play.
December 20th, 2021 at 12:54 pm
@ Joe
You are exactly right. Any moron advocating for the Bucs to cut AB is a total virtue signaling idiot.
Shut up and put four masks on

A SAVIOR IS BORN!!!
December 20th, 2021 at 1:25 pm
“Virtue signalling” in any conversation about the NFL is an oxymoron.

Hey DirtyBucs…..ALL I said was that Arians is not a man of his word. Period. You’re the crybaby over it. Trash Arians for HIS comment.
