Rob Gronkowski “Looks Good” In Walk-Throughs
November 17th, 2021Baby steps, folks. Baby steps.
Joe is among the anxious Bucs fans sitting on the edge of their office chairs, sweating when all the injured starters may return to help save the season and piece together another Super Bowl run. But Joe also knows rushing dudes back could backfire like what happened with foot-rubbing, car-littering film guru tight end Rob Gronkowski when he tried to play at New Orleans and threw out his back.
Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians didn’t talk specifically about injuries today other than to say he will know more tomorrow when the Bucs have a real practice. Today was just a walk-through in preparation for the Giants on Monday night.
Arians did answer a specific question about Gronk perhaps returning to full participation in practice.
“He looked good in the walk-through,” Arians laughed. “We’ll find out tomorrow if he can run-through and block-through. Like I said, we’ll know more tomorrow. It’s hard to tell today.”
When asked if the offense misses furniture-tossing, bicycle-throwing receiver Antonio Brown and Gronk, Arians said in so many words, of course!
“You take two great players out, possible Hall-of-Famers, yeah, you’re going to miss them,” Arians said.
Arians would not use their absences as a crutch for losing the past two games.

No one has to remind us Gronk and AB scored 3 of the 4 TDS in the Super Bowl. OJ is a bust and Brate can’t block. Can’t wait for AB to return soon.

BA is now acknowledging the greatness of Gronk and AB. Before this 2 devastating losses, he was just saying next man up, as if those 2 are just regular guys.

1st round HOFers

When those two are in the game pass defenders cannot double cover anybody without leaving the other 3 starters in single coverage. Even if they drop a linebacker in pass coverage that still leaves 2 excellent receivers in single coverage. Brady needs all 4 starters back asap!

OJ Howard screwed up. Gronk going down was OJ’s big chance to shine. This is his contract year. OJ lost a lot of money by not capitalizing on the opportunity.

I look good in walk throughs also.

hopefully this is only BA trying to say something to keep him in the media’s eye…
he screwed-up, BIG time putting Gronk in too soon last time.. I hope his ego will not lead to an even BIGGER repeated mistake…..

Wait until you know he’s 100% then wait one more week.

Gronk for sure is first ballot HOF. Brown, not so sure. Only one Superbowl, win, and played only a few games at that in that season. Plus, he has a lot of off the field baggage.
Brady definitely misses both. Really sad to see Gronk get injured, as he was off to a great start. I don’t understand what happened to Howard. I thought he was supposed be the next great thing. Anyway, my fear is that neither will be back to full speed, or be able to stay for long.

Really don’t think the dude is healthy.
I really don’t think he’ll want to come back to tampa especially at the price we’d offer not unlike the Winston situation

ED – You OBVIOUSLY don’t do your homework before you fart out of your mouth !! First of all , AB Has MULTIPLE Super Bowl rings , and NOBODY in the NFL has more yards or receptions since he was drafted in the 6th ROUND !! Remember he played for the Steelers for 10 years prior to winning the Super Bowl with the Bucs last year .. GO BUCS !!

Probably shouldn’t be accusing others of “farting out of their mouth” and then following it up with wrong information yourself.
AB’s first championship win was with the Bucs. He played in a superbowl his rookie year, 2010 but they lost to the Packers.
So uh yea, 10 years with the Steelers but no rings. Oops!
