Bruce Arians: Don’t Blame The Noise

If you ask the Bucs’ head coach, there are no excuses for certain penalties no matter what insanity is going on around you.
It was loud in Los Angeles and it should be crazy loud at New England on Sunday night.
The Bucs were sloppy with presnap penalties against the Rams and Bucco Bruce Arians has zero tolerance. In Arians’ mind, that issue was cleared up last season and practice should have eliminated any problems.
“It’s not any louder than what we do at practice. I mean we roll the speakers up right behind the guys and blast it,” Arians told Dan Lucas of WFLA-TV.
“So it’s never an excuse to have presnap penalties, especially with crowd noise because we’re on silent counts. So you can’t jump offsides. You know, it’s something that we work on all the time and we damn sure can’t have it next week.”
Veteran team. Super Bowl champ. Iconic leadership. It’s gotta stop in a hurry.

I love the pewter jerseys, but I hate the lack of contrast with the “full sweatsuit” look. All white should be the only non-contrast uniform they where.

Pewter pants/ White jersey, White pants /Pewter jersey, but please not those pewter on pewter ugly unis.
They are not as bad as those horrendous all red ketchup bottle unis they thankfully got rid of.
But the all pewter unis are still an eyesoar.
Glad Bruce is being real, and not making excuses for well paid grow azz men making stupid penalties.

Yep, Sherman headed this way. Presumably for a workout and/or contract talks. At least we’re not being complacent. I’m sure they’re working on other possibilities as well.

Well, it’s not the noise’s fault and you certainly can’t use it as an excuse, but there’s no doubt that they had trouble executing and blew multiple opportunities because of rhe noise. They need to learn how to execute in A noisy stadium, and they were not very good at that. Not blaming the noise, but blaming the inability to execute well in the noise. Brady will make sure they fix it, so not a concern as far as I am concerned.
