“Organic Nonsense”
September 19th, 2021You’ve heard the chatter from Bucs offensive coaches.
They don’t care about targets or touches for a certain player. Gameday is all about winning and not a balancing of egos and stats.
Bucco Bruce Arians makes that very clear, as does offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, who likes to use the term “organic” to describe the flow of his offense in each game.
Those who listened to the latest Ira Kaufman Podcast heard The Sage of Tampa Bay Sports refer to “organic nonsense” and talk about coaches absolutely caring about egos and touches and who is involved and how much.
Harsh take from Ira, but there’s so much evidence to back it up.
After how many games last year did Bucs fans hear Arians say Mike Evans has to get more involved?
Also, look what the Bucs did with Evans against Detroit, and with Antonio Brown in the season finale. Then there’s declaring Ronald Jones a starter today on Tuesday after saying all summer that who starts at running back is not relevant — which prompted Joe to dump cash on RoJo getting more than 10 1/2 carries today (the over/under betting line).
There are several other examples — and they are all just fine.
Arians and Leftwich are managing a roster, not just winning one game at a time. The great coaches do both with the perfect touch.
Every game is not “a one-game season” like former Bucs commander Greg Schiano used to say constantly.
“Organic” today may not be good for the long term. Joe’s eager to see how the Bucs approach the Falcons defense, and how they attack and who they uses if they’re up by a few scores.

Gronky gets a TD & AB gets 7 catches or more. Stone cold lead pipe locks

Mike Ditka did not seem to care to much about Walter Payton getting a TD in the Super Bowl 20 win against the Pats, but instead let the Fridge slam over for a TD.
We know Ditka definitely personifies the old school mentality. Just one example of how some Head Coaches are.
GO BUCS!!!!!

I don’t know about all this organic stuff but I do know Mike Evans is not going to be virtually shut out again this week so I have parlay bets on him going off!
As for Ditka… Still pisses me off that Walter Payton didn’t get that touchdown

For the sake of saving animals I hope the NFL will eventually utilize organically grown footballs.

Ditka has also admitted one of his biggest regrets is not getting Payton a TD in the SB.

You serious uncle you one time popper??? What’s more natural than a home grown heifer out in the fields chewing on grass then after its all said and done at the end of her life she helps feed the masses, put shoes on people’s feet, fertilizer for the grass she and all her brothers and sisters eat aaaand the most important thing footballs that provide us our favorite entertainment. . . . . wait for it. . . . Bucs Football.
Now on point with this story the only organic thing about this offense is if ROJO messes up even a lil bit he goes straight to Arians doghouse of horrors and then we’ll be told he lost his confidence

The Bucs will be lucky to be up by two scroes at any point in this game. This is the NFL. Bucs spanked Falcons for three halves of football last year, and the Cowboys spanked the Bucs for 58 minutes ten days ago. Last year’s only true blowout was the Lions. Three quarters of the week 6 Packers game. The rest, the Bucs had to win close games. It’s the NFL.
Falcons players are paid too and they’ll be looking for all sorts of redemtpion today.

Payton was a truly class individual. I’m sure it hurt at the time but he was a man.
