Tryon was out there on the 1st defensive play, he blitzed but didn’t get any pressure. But I think he was out there for every play except maybe the 3rd and short.

Just do what Brady did on the drive, go to a 2 min offense, do that for a few series, get a few TD lead, then you can run all you want because the defense will be completely off balance.
But we got the TD, which is awesome. I’m only half-heartedly complaining, it’s just more about knowing what they’re doing than anything.

The 2003 Bucs season was sunk by an injury to a corner on MNF… Brian Kelly got hurt vs the Colts when the Bucs were up big, Manning picked on the replacement and came back and got the win. The Bucs, in 2003, had zero depth after moving Dwight Smith from corner to safety.

They marched it right down the field when they went to hurry up, then they go back to the slow Leftwich offense with typical results. I just don’t get it. Do what works – not what you have scripted. The Dallas defense was being torn apart, it’s new, they don’t know what they’re doing, and when you slow things down you’re letting them get organized.
In the end it shouldn’t matter, but I just don’t get the stubbornness.

I have AB on pretty much every fantasy team I got, said all off season he’d be the Bucs leading WR — and he was ultra cheap to get. But, as teams shift to putting the focus on him, it will mean Evans and Godwin also have their big games, and Evans will likely end up with the most yards and TDs, but AB will have the catches, and only be slightly behind on the other two.
Also predicting Brady has a HUGE season – and this is why. If stupid Leftwich will get out of the way, this will be a historic year.

Very fun game. The chess match against our defense is fun to watch and the key is 1st down. If we can get them to 2nd and 10 its game over but we have had fots trying to stop them on 1st.

All the mistakes and Godwin’s fumble was the single biggest disgrace. This could have been a sloppy win but he inexplicably fumbled the ball while protecting it. Baffling.

Jesus Christ, all I can say is that I am glad the Bucs won. Sloppy, sloppy game and I am sure that many Buc fans probably thought they were gonna have the “big one” if they lost. Well 1-0 is 1-0 albeit sloppy. Lots of things to nitpick starting with the D. Not often you win with 4 turnovers. Bucs have a lot of trouble on prime time for some reason, I am sure Bucco Bruce will be asked about that.
