The regular season has yet to kick off and already the Bucs have taken a loss while battling The Sickness.
In his post-practice presser, Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians said vaccinated Bucs kicker Ryan Succop has The Sickness. He will not travel with his team to face lousy Lovie Smith and the spiraling Texans.
Succop kicked a 49 yard field goal on Saturday against Tennessee. His backup is rookie Jose Borregales, the top college kicker in the nation last year.
Bruce Arians says K Ryan Succop (who is vaccinated) has tested positive for COVID and will miss Saturday’s game in Houston.

My point is, if this is how vaccines are supposed to work (basically preventing people from contracting the sickness after being vaccinated), then why are people who have been vaxed still getting and spreading it? Simple answer, it doesn’t work. And why not? Because it’s a manufactured, not a naturally occurring, disease. China knew this, which is why (when it broke out) they (china) banned travel from Wuhan province to the rest of China. Now ask yourself (if you’re a doubter) why China still allowed international travel out of Wuhan at the same time they were banning domestic travel from Wuhan?

The difference between Polio and the Sickness is that Polio was an epidemic, while the Sickness is a pandemic. An epidemic is where Polio could break out in Philly, but people in Pittsburgh would not get it. A Pandemic is global infection. Also, Polio is transmitted from water or food contaminated with fecal matter. The Sickness is spread by water particles from breathing. So, it’s way more transmissible than Polio.
And lastly, the vaccines were developed for the original Sickness, not the mutations. The more it transmits, the more it mutates. So, the effectiveness of the vaccines will come down as the Sickness mutates. But, it’s still got properties to build some immunity to where you don’t get severely sick.
I don’t disagree that this virus was leaked from a lab. Was it an accident or on purpose? Who knows. But, they definitely screwed up cuz China themselves buried a lot of people that have not been accounted for, other than from satellite images of mass graves. But, I’m pretty sure the source of the virus is from a bat as most experts point to that as the source. And, Wuhan has a virology lab where they study bats. Could they have been trying to weaponize it? If they were researching it, they’re pretty stupid. I mean it’s not something anyone can control like holding a grenade. Whatever it may be, someone screwed up and got infected in the process of whatever they were trying to do.

A simple answer, if your claim is true (I can’t bother investigating it) as to why they would ban domestic travel and not international is because they were trying to HIDE the fact that the virus originated from China. Banning international flights would be a dead give away that something is up. But, obviously they would try to contain whatever was going on from inside their borders.

Vaccines save lives.
The virus mutates (thus the Delta variant). The reason it does this is because it has more vulnerable hosts in which it is able to mutate. Get vaccinated, don’t become a reason somebody else dies. This thing isn’t going away until the vast majority are vaccinated.
US Covid death count currently is 630K… If you don’t get vaccinated, you’re basically saying you’re okay with that number increasing.
This isn’t political. Help save lives. Help the hospital workers who are absolutely slammed. Help the economy and all the people who have been harmed by the pandemic. Get vaccinated.
The rest of the world is looking at us thinking this is the dumbest fouecking country in the world because we can all be vaccinated FOR FREE, and half the people resist. So many places can’t get the vaccine so easily and are eager to do so.

It’s more nuanced than that. The US and Europe (or at least their corporate interests with backing of the WTO) created the People’s Republic of China economic monster. I should know, I’ve done business over there. It isn’t a level playing field, it was never a level playing field, and it will never be a level playing field. They are transactional, they hate the West, and in particular the US, Japan and Great Britain. They’ve stolen and seized intellectual property whenever possible. They might have had some friendly overtures during the Deng years, but it was never their plan to engage in fair trade. And now that we’re in the Xi years we can plainly see them for who they are: not Communists per se, but neo-fascists.
It’s time to drop the pretense of fair trade that we never designed to be fair. It’s time to stop pretending that Taft-Hartley started the Great Depression (corporate propaganda paid for by grants to academics). It’s time to bring our factories back home and time to restructure our education system to better compete.

I have to say however, that I did implore those I could speak with, not to invade Iraq and then Afghanistan after 9/11. I wanted us to use our formidable intelligence capabilities to find out the perps, and use our special forces and that capability to find and destroy them, while the chickenhawks smelled blood and screamed, and even reasonably thinking people were drawn into the furvert righteous indignation and the need to kick someone’s A immediately. I was concerned about us reacting in anger, and walking into another Vietnam quagmire, with no clear exit strategy. How can you expect people with little history in democratic principles to set up a government and defend it in a short period of time? It was a prime opportunity for Russia and Iran. And not sure we ever really brought all the perps to justice. But anyway. Water under the bridge.

It was cheaper to have goods created there, and shipped here, than paying living wages to American workers and producing the goods here. And the cost to keep our rivers and communities clean. And the increased profits from buying those cheaper goods, and assembling them here, just cemented those great CEO jobs, high dividends, and stock price increases.
Of course, over time it hurt us and our ability to be independent in so many ways. But like most things, we never think we are the ones that caused the problem..it was other companies…other CEO’s. And when the straw breaks the proverbial camels back, everyone runs for cover.

American consumers are part of the problem ..buying short term feel good consumables made there, at the cost of their future financial well being, and demanding sometimes excessive wages and benefits, which simply encouraged companies to move that production offshore or elsewhere in America at best. Then have local governments and states compete for their facilities with promises of tax breaks, new infrastructure, and such. Not a pretty picture.

It’s cheaper but it involves costs that transcend what you see on a spreadsheet. It involves the closure and removal of factories and the destruction of entire communities. A friend of mine used to be in strategic planning for one of the major auto manufacturers. He told me about entire factories like the kind that stamp auto bodies being bought and shipped over there. You don’t buy that machinery, it takes years and heavy machinery to fabricate. Once that heavy industry leaves, what takes its place?
Why do you think the American workers have nothing? The service sector jobs do not pay as well. People want answers so they find scapegoats, usually other people that are not the root of the problem. That’s how the Weimar Republic ended. And in America we found or rather created our own demagogue.

Passing.. agree about the cost to communities. I lived in a city that is struggling…worked for a fortune 50 company there. The city hired all sorts of public servants to provide services, from police to fire, to infrastructure to service the company, the workers and growing community. Those public servants now are retiring and have pensions. The city has to raise taxes, that people don’t want to pay, just to pay the pensions. The company has significantly downsized and moved elsewhere. The roads, sewer systems, are old. Downtown decay. Stagnant property values, or lower compared to most of the country. Urban decay. And the city is struggling…cut, cut, cut. Police, Fire, etc. And the company? Doing well elsewhere. Many old cities are like that, unless they are fortunate enough to have a “white knight” business come to town. It is like locusts came, took the best, and left the rest.

For every whatever large scale manufacturing facility, there are COUNTLESS jobs supporting the factory directly and indirectly, the workers need auto repair shops, the workers need groceries, their kids go to schools.
This country was sold out by both parties over the past 30 years.
Of course we can afford to manufacture everything we need in our own country, we did so ever since the industrial revolution! There is a symbiotic relationship and balance between labor and management… it was that that created the most prosperous country in the history of man .

Again, literally everyone should just accept that fact they WILL get this at some point. That’s how these respiratory viruses work. I have zero issues with the vaccine, everything I’ve seen that is real shows that it greatly reduces the level of sickness and is completely safe (no, the guy on Twitter telling you that it has microchips in it that feed your location to the gov via 5G is not giving you proper info).
With that said the pro-vax d-bags are they’re the top reason people don’t want to get vaxxed, because they don’t want to be in the pro-vax cult — and it is a cult. Trump got the vax done in record time, he literally saved millions of lives around the world because of that, yet the pro-vax cult would rather people die than give him credit and try to get him onboard to spread encourage vaccines.
Also, I’m vaxxed and I will never show a vaccine card or take part in vaccine passport. Anyone who wants to mandate THIS vaccine is an anti-American POS. Period. These things become part of the cold/flu cycle, that’s how it’s always worked throughout human history. They constantly mutate, find ways around our defenses, our bodies then respond to the changes – and in very recent years, science can help accelerate that response. But it doesn’t eliminate anything.
Again, everyone is going to get this. That is life. Get vaxxed if you want, don’t if you don’t want, but leave people the hell alone. What someone else does, when vaccines are available and you can wear as many masks as you want, does not impact you. Also, to the anti-vax nutjobs, just say you don’t want it and leave it at that. BTW, Mark 2001, not vaccinated but I likely had China virus February 2020 after my wife did contract it in January 2020 per our family doctor. Like most people who have or will get it, I had very minor cold symptoms that went away after a week. Of course, both my wife ad I are under 70 with no underlying serious health issues, so that would put us with most of the over 99%+ in our demographic who have gotten it and recovered.

So what happens with the numbers when one multiplies 700,000 by .1 non-false positives? Huh?
And what happens if the PCR is cycled at 24 cycles?

Unfortunately, COVID (Delta) is spreading like wildfire. The only real solution is not something that is remotely reasonable, especially in the US.
But, worth considering is this: If we had all done as directed (worldwide I mean), would the virus have survived long enough to mutate to this degree? It’s a question worth pondering.
Personally, I’m more concerned with the next big virus. Because, clearly, people are to stubborn to do what it takes to beat it.

As to China…it is what it is. While there are plenty of things we can hold against China, I don’t personally believe this is one of them. I don’t buy into conspiracy theories, so I do not believe it was created in a lab.
Much more likely, this was the result of something in nature, much like Ebola is.
Regardless, China got it first. It;s easy to blame them for letting it spread, but considering how it hides it’s presence before showing symptoms, can we really blame them for it getting out? I don’t.
Rather than point fingers, I’d prefer to focus on things we can deal with now.

My point about deaths per from heart disease is that the CDC numbers for that disease listed as cause of death (average deaths per year from prior years) now have those numbers significantly being report LOWER in their death data. Many of those cases have shifted to be included as “Covid” causing deaths instead.
So the reported deaths from Covid is misleading due to the way they’re combining any co-morbidity at death as ‘Covid’ death if Covid antibodies are present.
These aren’t people “dying early” from those other diseases, it’s simply following the same average per year per capita deaths and see many of them have been ‘shifted’ over to be counted as if they’re Covid-responsible deaths. So this clouds the true mortality rate of Covid itself.

The original vaccines were not designed for the delta variant, which has lowered the efficacy significantly. This is still not a good reason to not get vaccinated. And we have someone claiming to know people who have died from the vaccine? Really? I call BS. Everyone that I keep in touch with is vaccinated. Nobody had anything worse than a couple days of flu-like symptoms. I had no symptoms from the 2nd shot. No one I personally know has told me horror stories of anyone getting severely ill or dying within their network of friends, family, and acquaintances.
The answer isn’t to avoid vaccines because they’re imperfect. It’s to continue to evolve the vaccine to treat variants and get it into arms at as high a rate as possible to minimize the continuing impact of the pandemic.
If you’re going to claim the vaccines are unsafe and there’s some kind of coverup, please cite a credible source for your information.

When there’s a virus, like Covid, that has an overall mortality rate that’s like 0.02% and much that data is skewed due to stating a death with other co-morbidities is due to “Covid.”… There’s another important factor…
it’s CALLED HERD IMMUNITY.
Scientists estimate that 10X-12X the number of people in the US have had Covid compared to the reported Case Numbers — because millions were asymptomatic and had no reason to go get tested or to go to a doctor.
The US was already reaching Herd Immunity for the primary strain of Covid-19 (before the Delta variant). This had very little to do with vaccinations. Look at the chart trends by date. The case numbers were already falling on a consistent downward trend even before all the vaccinations started.

Brady..my point is that, at the very least the Covid contributed to their early demise of those identified as such. There is no definitive proof to reasonably believe otherwise.
And if you lose a loved one, one year, five years, ten years, twenty years earlier than they would have died, it is a tragedy. Ask the people that have lost loved ones.
The point is that this disease is a serious health situation. And with Delta, and possibly more dangerous variants only a mutation away, it is critical that we do all we can to protect ourselves and fellow citizens. Some are…I think I am. NativeSonX – Fair enough on your criticism, I have no issues with reasonable disagreements. Smallpox, however, is not a respiratory disease. It is spread via airborne droplets, for sure, but it’s not a respiratory disease. Also, if COVID had a 30% rate of death, I’d be with you on vaccine mandates, however it doesn’t. COVID has a 0.18% rate of death (or a 99.82% survival rate).
You can vax yourself (and I did) against this. You can also wear 5 masks if they you think they work (all evidence i’ve seen show masks reduce the spread by about 20-30% – nowhere close to what pro-maskers claim). If you’re vaxxed, if you wear 10 masks, the chances of you getting a serious illness is zero. Your health is up to you.
As for teams, I agree, I can’t stand it. Trump got this done, he’s said people should get the vaccine – yet you leftist don’t want him promoting the vaccine because Biden wants to take credit for something he literally had nothing to do with. If you want to kill the teams, it means get rid of all the political hacks, like Fauci, and give credit to the person who pushed this through like people like Fauci were saying it might take years to get done. So start there, credit Trump, credit him for getting this done so quickly, credit him for encouraging people to get the vaccine, and stop insulting and antagonizing people. Wow. A warped interpretation of reality. He’s had months to advise people to get the vaccine and kept quiet because he was afraid of delusional fanbase. And then when he did, his crowd of drooling boobs actually booed him at a rally the other night.

You have to admit that there’s still so much that no one fully understands about Covid, Delta, etc. Fauci and the CDC have changed their minds so many times. Why isn’t the CDC no longer tracking all infections/hospitalization data for vaccinated people that get breakthrough cases? You don’t think it seems a little fishy that, unlike Israel, UK, and others, we’re not tracking that data and making it public?
BTW, in case you missed it my posts above, I’m vaxxed. I held off for many months as I was terrified of side effects (which could still happen) on an experimental vaccine rushed to market. Despite the years of research on mRNA vaccines, they were NOT yet widely in clinical use until now.
I also think MASKS don’t work. A new study confirms it. Even an N95 masks only controls about 45% of germs, but this virus is spread in many ways that aren’t airborne. If the US gov’t wants to supply all citizens with expensive N95 masks, I’ll probably wear one. But outside of that, those cloth masks everyone wears doesn’t do much at all.
I DO think at this point people should go get the vaccine, but only if they choose to do so and feel the risk is worth it to them. If they don’t wish to get it I fully support their right to refuse it. It’s a very sensitive issue and if you can’t honestly empathize with those that don’t want to have it put into their bodies, then you need to talk to more people to actually try and understand why and not just use political talking points.

Brady..glad you are vaxxed. I know masks aren’t as effective as they claim…small cracks around your face, even with my N95, can let some air in and out without going through the mask. Still, I do all I can.
Getting the vax IS the best strategy. Like I said, this Covid Delta is relentless, and we need to use every weapon at our disposal. And if it counters, mutates, and we have to make changes, we as a society are smart enough to do so. I believe we can do anything in America. And frankly, once the kids are safe, and we all can be vaxxed or not if we choose, I’d say, let people take their chances. At that point, just pay your hospital bill, make sure you have a good life insurance policy for your family, and if you feel badly, don’t go out.
From a business perspective, I’d require my employees to be vaxxed…. For my protection, for their fellow employees, for their customers. For their families, friends, and associates. But each business will make that decision. And I hope the unvaxxed respect the fact that the company has a right to make those decisions…and we should respect their rights.
