“Typical” Is Different For Tom Brady

For reasons unclear, Joe thought just about everyone who stood behind a mic today after practice to talk to the Tampa Bay pen and mic club was on fire.
Everyone seemed to be in a good mood with good intel to share. Everyone had some one-liners. Everyone was smiling.
Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians had an interesting comment about park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking, tequila-shooting, smartphone-phobic, waffle-grilling, trophy-throwing, roller-coaster-scared, numbers-rules-peeved, helmet-tossing, football-punting, Bucs-Super-Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady.
In short, Brady’s normal day is not like most humans’.
“I thought it was outstanding,” Arians said when asked to grade Brady’s practice Tuesday. “He was very, very accurate. Just a typical, solid Brady day.”
You don’t normally hear a guy described as “outstanding” and then a couple of sentences later hear “that’s just typical.”
But then, that’s why Brady is Mr. Seven Rings and single-handedly turned around a team that couldn’t find a way to win and made it a Super Bowl champion.

Brady works at his craft more diligently than anyone in the league, today or at anytime in the game really. He’s a living legend for a reason.

You can tell when Jenna is the one asking the question even if you can’t hear her on TV, because she takes forever to ask her question. Get to the point lady, and stop talking just to hear yourself talk! Rant over. Go Bucs!

ESPN has a front page story about how Derek Carr ‘dreams’ of playing to 45 like Tom Brady. What a d-bag. If you’re Derek Carr, you should never ever compare yourself or even speak about someone like Tom Brady since everyone is just going to think you’re a d-bag for bringing up.
My favorite Derek Carr moments? When he throws the ball away on 4th down, he’s good for a few of those every year. Game on the line, have to make something happen? Well don’t force the ball and hurt your stat line with an INT? Nah, just chuck it into the ground to keep that TD to INT ratio up, then those dopes that just look at box scores will think you’re a good QB.
Anywho Carr, don’t ever talk about Brady, there’s just no way for you not to look like a schmuck when doing so.

I know this sounds silly, but watching Brady sitting in the crowd at the Manning HOF ceremony, I really do think Brady wants to take one last thing from Manning, the all-time offensive record that Manning set with the Broncos. Brady is #3 on the list, Manning is #1 – how great would it be for Brady to get that last record — plus he’s got a bit of a cheat in that he’s got an extra game to do it.

Rod Munch, get the panties out of your bunch. Derek Carr dared compare himself to Brady. Who is he supposed to strive to be like, Jameis? Obviously, he’s a fan of Brady and would like to be as good as him. It’s called admiration, not disrespect.

I hope we get to see the Bucs first teamers for a series or two Saturday night. However it looks like that tropical storm will be moving in to the Bay Area also Saturday afternoon through Sunday. So if that happens and they still play if it’s wet and nasty I wouldn’t play any of the starters and risk injury in a meaningless game. Let the backups play
