Tom Brady Data Following A Super Bowl Win

July 23rd, 2021

In 2018, Joe boldly predicted the Bucs would beat the Saints on the road to open the season with Ryan Fitzpatrick leading the way.

It was all about numbers, not Joe being a drunk homer.

Fitzpatrick had a stellar record on opening day as as starter, far better than his career winning percentage, while Drew Brees and the Saints had consistently struggled in their home openers. The data was overwhelming. And what a thrilling Bucs win it was, the highlight of another garbage season.

With opening day against the Cowboys less than seven weeks away, Joe is looking at more trends and sees that Tom Brady is 5-1 in opening day games after winning a Super Bowl. In the first quarter of those six seasons immediately following lifting the Lombardi Trophy, Brady was a combined 19-5 through the first four games of each year.

Those are extraordinary numbers and it’s got Joe fired up for a fast 2021 start by the Bucs.

As for Brady personally, he totaled 12 touchdown passes and just two interceptions in those six games following a Super Bowl win.

Yeah, Joe is expecting a big fat “W” on opening day, regardless of how well the Cowboys play.

    Zeke—-19 rushes, 67 yards.

Unlike the Cowboy’s legendary first set of triplets, the current batch is overrated, underwhelming, and vastly overpaid. Instead of a hall of fame coach, they have one that let baby cry Aaron Rodgers treat him like his b!tch. Their brilliant businessman/thoroughly inept football wise gm has crippled his own team with utterly stupid decision making for over two decades. I’m not sweating the cowboys at all.

  3. Rod Munch Says:

Sportsbooks are pulling the Packers off their board because they’re saying Aaron Rodgers is expected to retire next week.

    Wow….

Brady and the Bucs took out Brees and Rodgers, in just one year. Think of the havoc the Brady and the Bucs can do with another season…

“Drew Brees and the Saints” Anybody besides me absolutley giddy that this is a thing of the past now?

  5. Eddie Marz Says:

Stupid numbers cruncher. How Tampa does on opening day has nothing to do with those last six Super Bowl wins. Having said that, GO BUCS!

  6. John Sinclear Says:

Hmm. Joe > Stats. Methinks he’s watching too much of Cynthia Freelund. Then again, nothing wrong with that!

  7. PSL Bob Says:

You think many people will be watching the Cowbabys at Tampa Bay on opening night?

A whole nation of cowboy fans and a state of Bucs fans will be watching

Crazy that while hyping Dak stats pre injury 2020, the talking heads
foget to mention that his numbers came vs prevent defenses,
Aka garbage stats. And vs a Quinn D, The BUCS will blow them out.
