Arians On Joe Tryon: “Slippery In Shorts”
June 8th, 2021The Bucs’ first-round edge rusher, No. 32 overall pick Joe Tryon, was back from knee surgery and full-go at his first NFL practice today.
The early underwear football review is in from Bucco Bruce Arians.
Tyron is ready, able and fulfilling the Bucs’ April dreams — for now.
“He’s full speed now and he looked really, really good, obviously everything we thought he was,” Arians said of Tryon.”
“Obviously, we’ll learn more in pads. But he’s slippery in shorts, but a lot of guys aren’t. He showed some really good skill set.”
Hey, who is Joe to rain on this great news. Tryon is one of the Bucs’ few major X-factors this season.
His Day 1 was a “W,” and Joe will savor it.

My white Lavonte birthday gift just landed on my door step after a month. It’s beautiful. A sign from God of the things to come.

He has a chance to learn from the best….Let’s go Tyron… and let’s go Bucs!

Bucs have really been nailing our 1st round draft picks lately. Sure hope Tryon is another feather in the cap!

“Slippery in shorts”……..kind of kinky……try describing a female employee that way…….say goodbye to your job.
I’ll bet Kay Adams is slippery in shorts.

JPP is going to have a tough time keeping Tryon on the bench!

Alabama…..”JPP is going to have a tough time keeping Tryon on the bench!”
If that happens it would be awesome, but maybe a year away from that. Would like to see it thou. I like JPP, he is a stud with a great attitude, but his wheels have a lot of wear and tear.
GO BUCS!!!!

He looks like the “good” version of Cam Newton. If there was a good/evil side by side comparison.

Slippery when it’s wet ….aaawwww like to slip away!!
June 8th, 2021 at 2:18 pm
Seems like a very good pick. We’ll see. But he may be good enough to allow JPP to play DT on some passing downs – to provide an even more awesome pass rush. I think many have thought that was a good possibility.
June 8th, 2021 at 2:19 pm
Great thing is he’s so JPP. Can work it inside and out. Loved the pick so he could sit behind and soak him up for a year.

Are players allowed to oil themselves up w/ Banana Boat during games?

Lets not jump the gun & wait & see.

When the 2021 1st Rounder
meets the 2020 1st Rounder
we’ll see how slippery he really is.
June 8th, 2021 at 3:39 pm
Awesome to hear he is at 100% health. Counting on Tryon to carve out a nice role for himself……If he can get to the passer Bowles will definitely find a way to utilize him.

For those who will say it’s underwear football, you should win practice in underwear football/practice as well.
June 8th, 2021 at 4:09 pm
TBBF…. being around Kay Adams might make you wish your shorts would slip right off.
June 8th, 2021 at 4:45 pm
Easy to look good in underwear practice. Wait until the pads come on an vet linemen “test” the kid. We should see a lot of him in pre season games and know a lot more.
June 8th, 2021 at 5:03 pm
The NFL better watch out when a defending SB champ starts adding explosive pieces to an already stacked team.

@TBBF
I hear ya and agree. Does that make us dirty old men? LOL
June 8th, 2021 at 6:34 pm
If it does then count me in SPBF!
June 8th, 2021 at 7:14 pm
I’d bet that Kay Adams is real slippery with a guy she doesn’t want to deal with. If ya’ get what I mean! LOL, she appears to be a fairly small lady.
I can see that she hasn’t gotten where she is on her looks alone. 🧖♀️ 😈

This line is devolving into a song I remember called “If you see Kay”
Think about it…

A lot of things being discussed by the participants here without saying much of anything, gp. Isn’t it fun!
The counterpart to “reading between the lines”, I guess.
