would be awfully ridiculous, considering Stamkos comes rather cheap on a rookie contract and is pretty much locked up for the Bolts for several years, per the NHL owner-player agreements.

There’s apart of it that read that the rangers had a deal done to aquire stamkos and I can see lawton gettn ridd of everyone before he’s shown the door!

It was that fraud Len Barrie who worked out a trade to the Rangers for Stamkos. Oren Koules wisely put the kibosh on that.
If the Bolts would have traded Stamkos, they might as well moved the entire franchise to Saskatoon. No wonder this Barrie character is $300 million in the hole (allegedly).
