Report: “Multiple” Sources Linking Bucs With Kyle Trask
April 29th, 2021For Bucs fans who believe the Bucs need some more speed on defense or holler “trenches” for Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht to draft tonight at No. 32, brace yourselves.
Last night and this morning there is a whole lot of chatter about the Bucs picking a quarterback at No. 32. Which quarterback that may be (Davis Mills, Kyle Trask) is unclear. What is clear is intel coming from other NFL teams to #NFLDraftMedia is that the Bucs are doing deep homework on quarterbacks.
Two fairly well plugged-in guys, Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano of BSPN, believe they have identified who the Bucs are shining their klieglights on in their quarterback evaluations. And that is Florida quarterback Kyle Trask.
If a sixth quarterback can sneak into Round 1, Tampa Bay and Trask is a fit that multiple NFL people have connected. He’s a pure pocket guy who can throw on platform at a high level, which is what Bruce Arians loves. Tampa has all roster needs met and can truly make a luxury pick at No. 32.
Bucs Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians sure doesn’t like running quarterbacks. And Trask seems to fit the profile of Arians’ quarterbacks (throw deep and don’t run).
If it is Trask, let’s just say if he has a habit of throwing to tight ends that he developed in college, the Bucs are the right team to play for.
April 29th, 2021 at 9:55 am
The Stanford QB will be better. To Luxury of a pick at 32.
April 29th, 2021 at 9:55 am
I’ll be doing somersaults across my livingroom when we don’t draft him
April 29th, 2021 at 9:57 am
i want a QB but would prefer edge rusher or good trench person round 1. i would rather trade out and maybe get a second rounder and grab a QB there.
April 29th, 2021 at 9:57 am
While I like Trask, first round is too high.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:00 am
Good college QB, likely will be a solid NFL backup. Not too excited about the Mills either.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:02 am
Pete – how many times have you watched Davis Mills play? How many Stanford games have you watched? I’m willing to bet zero. Tell me a legitimate reason why you’d want Davis Mills? And no, watching a private workout on NFL Network doesn’t count
April 29th, 2021 at 10:03 am
We better not burn a first on this guy
April 29th, 2021 at 10:03 am
Joe- Since BA won’t be here in the future it shouldn’t matter if it’s the type of QB that fits his offense… unless maybe there’s an under the table deal for BL to be the next head coach? Makes ya wonder…
April 29th, 2021 at 10:05 am
Trask is clearly better than Mills, at least right now. Tough to project. I have Mac Jones as a 2nd round QB, with Trask not that far behind.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:05 am
He’s a real reach at 32. Everything I’ve seen has him going in the late second. They don’t need a qb. Draft one when you suck and have a top pick
April 29th, 2021 at 10:05 am
Absolute perfect QB to learn behind Brady.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:06 am
i just don’t see this guy as a starting nfl quarterback
April 29th, 2021 at 10:06 am
trade down for 2 mid round 2nds and he would make more sense there…
April 29th, 2021 at 10:09 am
Just don’t see it. The guy has a pedestrian arm. Sure he can make touch throws with decent accuracy, but you need more than that in the NFL. Dude doesn’t have any kind of zip on his throws.
Production alone is not enough of a predictor of success in the NFL. You have to have great traits and upside as well. And Kyle Trask is sorely lacking in those areas.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:11 am
@Gofortheface30
Do you not realize all the information you would ever need to evaluate a player is available for free on youtube? Your question is ridiculous.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:11 am
NO NO NO…. spend a 3-4th round pick of Mond who is better.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:13 am
If you ask me, this is the PERFECT year to take the top #1 or #2 Center coming out of college. At 32 we could do it. I know, I know. I also want an EDGE or OLB at 32, but there are other good prospects we could get with our #2 pick. If we took a Center at 32, we are setting ourselves up for next year when Jensen leaves (likely). We save money there and get stronger in the trenches. It’s worth thinking about.
Not to mention, when all these contracts were being restructured, Jensen didn’t redo his.
Of course, all this being said, we could probably get a good Center with the #2 pick also.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:14 am
If I was Blaine Gabbert, I’d get my @ss off the couch and text my agent to send a PDF of Licht’s last offer and sign it before noon.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:16 am
I’ll take the evaluations of Arians and Tom Moore, Byron and Clyde… but you’ll have to excuse me if I don’t get too excited about an un-athletic QB from UF.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:19 am
May be true. Might also be an ideal lure to chum the waters. I’m guessing it’s the latter.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:19 am
Trask will be a real reach at pick #32
On my board, he is late second/early third round talent.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:21 am
I can still remember the 1st half pick 6 and 4th quarter 3 straight 3 and outs vs LSU last year.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:23 am
we will see. not my cup of tea
April 29th, 2021 at 10:23 am
Pre-draft hype….
April 29th, 2021 at 10:24 am
I’ll second you Chris. Too rich for my blood in the 1st, but grab him with the last pick of the 2nd.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:29 am
If your trying to win another Super Bowl then you pick someone that can play right away. The first round is not the place to take a QB. Pick the best player available and let’s repeat this year.
There are plenty of QB’s out there that are good enough to win with the roster the Bucs currently have.
When Brady is gone that’s the time to go get one.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:30 am
One thing I think a lot of people don’t know about is Trask never started a game until last yr. He waited, studied and learned until he got his shot.
He Took that shot and made the Best of it!
69 passing TDs to 15 INTs, 6 rush TDs to 0 fumbles!
On a team with a horrible run game and Sh!tty Defense!
Trask was the MAJOR reason UF had a winning season this yr And Last yr.
He wasn’t along for the ride, he was the catalyst!
Dude was thrown on to the big stage due to Frank’s injury and all he did was proceed to set SEC and UF records!
Not sure what some of you are seeing by calling him pedestrian.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:39 am
Maybe in the 3rd round.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:40 am
For a non-mobile quarterback probably a third of the highlights were quarterback runs. He throws a decent pass but I would like to see some out patterns.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:43 am
Trashk would make Danny Wuerffel look like the second coming of Dan Marino. Oh please no no no no no.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:43 am
Bucs should move up in round 2. All their picks won’t make the roster. Burn some day 3 picks to move up in the first 4-5 rounds
April 29th, 2021 at 10:45 am
@SB
Sure just leave out the fact that Trask was throwing to Kyle Pitts and Kadarius Toney. Pitts is being heralded as potentially the best player in the entire draft and Toney is in the 1st round conversation. And he played in a notoriously QB friendly system in a year where many players opted to sit out due to the pandemic. But that’s beside the point.
Judging a QB or any player for that matter based on his college production is a fools errand and will get you burned nearly every time. Btw I said his arm is pedestrian. Which it is. And he has less upside than pretty much every QB in the 2021 draft due to his lack of physical ability and arm talent.
He peaked last year and will be a career backup in the NFL. Book it.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:50 am
Do not waste our first round pick on a QB please. We are in win now mode. A rookie QB does not help that. Go Bucs! Oh and Kyle trask is not gonna be that good. Hard pass.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:52 am
Yeah, this Heisman finalist is trash, you know, the one who led the nation in TD’s, second in yardage, low interception rate, in the BEST conference in the country (anyone actually see the SEC conference title game where Trask passed for 400 yards with a zero running game against the eventual National Champions). Yeah, pick a guy with 5 games against PAC teams in 2020 over Trask, with 12 games against SEC teams that were nationally ranked when they played UF and he somehow managed to be one of the top five collegiate players. Makes perfect sense. Bucs should pick Trask at 32 for the fifth year option. No way he’s going to make it through the second round.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:53 am
As a Gators fan, this would be awesome. As long as it works out
April 29th, 2021 at 10:54 am
To me at this point, there would not be much difference between Trask and Franks. They’re both going to need further development. They’re both backups at best. The asking price is to steep on Trask and in no way worth our first round pick and there’s a legitimate reason why 31 other teams passed on him. A second rounder maybe but more like 3rd round and beyond just like Franks, which by the way, has a stronger arm and can run better than Trask. Franks even has the potential of being a future TE if he doesn’t workout as a QB. Trask, not so much. You either get a starting QB or he does the backup shuffle until he fades away.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:55 am
I don’t who the draft at QB tonight or ever. When has it ever worked out long term for this team? 1st pick overall, 5th pick overall, mid round, late round. It really doesn’t matter.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:56 am
Lmao please no
April 29th, 2021 at 10:58 am
@ go for the face
Didn’t say I wanted Mills just said he will likely be the better pro.
Don’t want Trask either.
April 29th, 2021 at 10:59 am
Will he get past the Patriots?
April 29th, 2021 at 11:01 am
my god plz no
April 29th, 2021 at 11:05 am
@COSTA RICA
Name 1 player in this draft that would start on our team.
And please tell me who he would replace so you get it.
They might MAKE the team yes, but immediate impact?
Please
April 29th, 2021 at 11:08 am
Smokescreen
April 29th, 2021 at 11:10 am
@Jackson
There’s a list of great college QB’s who were busts in the NFL 50 names long on Bleacher Report that you could read/skim, and then you could learn the lesson that college production, not entirely worthless, should never even come close to being your main reason for why you think a player will succeed in the NFL.
Traits and tape are and always will be the most important. And Trask is sorely lacking in those 2 departments. And that’s why he’ll be a career backup at best in the NFL.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:11 am
Trade down to 39, 40 or so get Trask and an extra pick. If by some reason he gets picked you always have Mills to fall back on he won’t go until at least the third round. Hes just been hyped up by the media. Hes a bit like Lance they both have very little experience. Mills and Lance are like a box of chocolates you never know what your going to get.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:12 am
Lol. Not likely. And he has wide open Donkey Kong stants in the pocket.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:12 am
Go get him, BA!!! Smart luxury pick and the perfect QB for our system.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:14 am
As a Gator fan here is what I am not understanding from neigh sayers on Trask. The guy played in the SEC, had a horrible O-line, no running game, and a horrible defense!
Somehow still put up great numbers without turning the ball over. Unlike the last draft pick we used on a QB who was a turnover machine and a nightmare off the field.
He broke school records and was a Hiesman finalist. Not sure he will last to our second round pick but wouldnt it be good to have the 5th year option since he will sit for a year or two? Hes a big guy with a strong and accurate arm. Not a bad pick
April 29th, 2021 at 11:14 am
🤮😂😂😂
Multiple reports huh lol sounds like media took the bait, this guy is not even a second round prospect. I cannot see a scenario where Bucs feel this guy is the 32nd player on any board
April 29th, 2021 at 11:16 am
Not like he even could win a Championship in college. The Gators were a disappointment last season. Trask is just MEH. IMHO.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:17 am
@windbaggery: tell me about the “athletic prowess” of GOAT #12. How “athletic” was he coming out of college as a 6th round pick?
Even if Arian’s retires, my $$$ is on Leftwich staying, so Arian’s drop-back offense will remain.
What better offense is there in the NFL that would nurture a drop-back passer?
April 29th, 2021 at 11:17 am
Schmoke…
April 29th, 2021 at 11:18 am
Costa Rica John, you have zero clue how this works. You don’t need an immediate impact guy to repeat, you just need good depth becuase we have an unprecedented 23 STARTERS, coming back.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:23 am
Not at 32.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:23 am
Probably smoke.
But remember the advantage of making a pick in round 1 is the 5th year option on a rookie deal.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:26 am
If you believe Trask isn’t worth the 32nd overall pick then you never watched him play. As stated earlier, Trask had a trash Oline and defense and still put up extremely impressive stats. To rack up 43 TD’s and only 8 INT’s in a real mans conference, THE SEC, is baller. Whole lot of ignorance coming from these fair weather fans.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:27 am
Not like he even could win a Championship in college. The Gators were a disappointment last season. Trask is just MEH. IMHO.
———–
Im hoping this is just sarcasm. Otherwise its an ignorant comment. No 1 player can win a championship alone. SMH
April 29th, 2021 at 11:27 am
Jeff George v2.
Don’t remember Jeff George? …
Exactly the point.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:27 am
***SMOKESCREEN***
April 29th, 2021 at 11:29 am
And btw the Gators were not a disappointment. Because of Trask we had one of the best seasons we’ve had in a long while.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:29 am
This would be fine and dandy if….Arians plans on sticking around for awhile. Somehow I doubt he stays much longer especially if they repeat. May go for 3 but who knows.
Even then Trask is riding the pine for 2 years.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:31 am
Love to get Trask. Ideally not in the first but hes underrated for sure.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:32 am
Draft edge.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:33 am
I’ll default to Arians, Licht, Moore and Christensen on that decision.
I do wish he threw a tighter spiral and his balls didn’t wobble at times. I don’t like that in the Cotton Bowl game (when the bright lights se on) against Oklahoma that he didn’t have by FAR his worst game of the year. That was a stinker.
He does have great size. Has played in the best conference (SEC baby) there is against legit teams w/ NFL talent all over the place. Is a great kid it seems. Smart kid. And his ability to retain information and plays (and repeat it back) is impressive.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:33 am
@Cobraboy…
Come on bro. You should know better than that. Never ever make the mistake of comparing someone a QB to Tom Brady.
Tom Brady is the ultimate embodiment of the phrase:
“The exception, not the rule.”
Despite actually having a great arm that’s severely underrated and still better than Trask’s, at 43 no less, the things that made TB12 so ridiculously successful are almost entirely intangibles.
He is one of the most cerebrally gifted QB’s of all time and can break down a defense pre/post snap as good or better than any QB ever. He is the ultimate competitor with an unbreakable will to win. He is the ultimately leader of men.
He’s is the most durable QB of all time thanks in no small part to his dedication to eating clean and constantly aiming to perfect his biomechanics to reduce strain on his joints and soft tissue.
And He is the probably the least complacent athlete in the history of sports. No amount of success or perceived greatness is ever enough to satiate him. He is always hungry to get better and accomplish more.
These and many more reasons are what make him the undisputed GOAT. So please, don’t ever compare him to a player coming out of college just because they’re unathtletic.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:34 am
Kellen Mond is wayy better than Trask. Mond did not have any stars to work with unlike Trask who had Pitts and Toney and still found a way to beat Gators. Of course, Mond is also a way better athlete with strong arm and impressive accuracy. Mond had the most tight window throws of any QB in this class.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:37 am
Pitts was injured half the year, so don’t buy the hype that Pitts made Trask. And when he was healthy, the ball still has to get to Pitts – and it did in tight windows and where Pitts could beast. What, that doesn’t fit with Evans, OJ and Gronk on this roster? Watch the throws to Trevon Grimes too, who btw would be a great pick in the 4th for somebody.
And Felipe Franks he is not btw, tha’td be an ignorant comparison. Felipe Franks was a poor man’s Josh Freeman (that’s right, yikes!) who will be lucky to be drafted earlier than the 6th round. If anything Mullen should get dinged for playing Franks over Trask given how Trask’s last year and a half panned out by comparison.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:37 am
No rookie is making a real impact this season who are we kidding, I’d love trask at 32 as he’s coveted by many & won’t last till the last pick of the second round . Get ur guy besides Brady is 44 coming off knee surgery #GoBucs
April 29th, 2021 at 11:38 am
@Dingleberry
True, having great numbers in college doesn’t necessarily mean that a QB will succeed in the NFL. But your statements that “tape and traits” don’t support Trask as being successful makes no sense. The tape shows a QB that knows how to move in the pocket to avoid a rush and if you looked at the “tape” of his pro day, you’ll see that with the loss of some weight, he moved with very quick feet and still made all the throws. Traits? Hardworking and a “grinder” according to the consensus of pro scouts. Able to understudy and come in and be successful. Can carry the team on his shoulders (again, UF had NO real running game. Able to read defenses, smart with the ball, and one trait that is really undervalued when comparing Trask to guys like Mills and Lance, he is a big guy that can take a hit and still deliver the ball. Most pro scouts give comparisons to Roethlisberger, and note who Trask models his game after—Peyton Manning. I seem to recall that Manning, a pocket passer (painful to watch him run) had great college statistics and somehow managed to eke out a pretty decent pro career. No?
April 29th, 2021 at 11:38 am
I do think 32 would be early and I dont think the reports are implying the first round. I think the Bucs are interested but more in the late second or third.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:39 am
lol wish i would have proof read that before I hit the submit button..
“Never ever make the mistake of comparing a QB to Tom Brady”*
“He is the ultimate* leader…”
April 29th, 2021 at 11:44 am
The 5th year option is the only reason why I think a quarterback is the smart move 32. Do not want to wait until Brady is gone to get quarterback because you want Brady to teach a new quarterback how to play properly In the NFL A center in the 2nd round is a very wise idea. Get some O line help and D line help and trade the latter picks away for next year
April 29th, 2021 at 11:44 am
This highlight reel doesn’t do him justice. Makes him look like a great Red Zone QB but not many long highlight throws to show the big arm.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:48 am
If Licht is truly drafting the best player available there will be many others available that are better at their position than Trask is a QB. Maybe in the 3rd if he’s available.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:50 am
I think I saw someone say they had Trask before or next to Mac Jones ?? ( Gator Hallucinations) Seriously!!! If we can trade down because Mac won’t be there at 32, but wouldn’t take a QB in the first round unless him, but either DL, LB, or Najee Harris are my predictions. Plus we can trade picks because honestly there isn’t a lot of spots on the roster, so don’t mind getting aggressive in the first 3 rounds. Go Bucs and still can’t believe we are going into this as Super Bowl Champs !! So great
April 29th, 2021 at 11:53 am
Red Skeleton
There was a flea-flicker pass (against Arkansas I think, but don’t quote me on that) where the RB flicked back a bad toss to Traak. He literally had to scoop it up off the grass while a blitzing defender was breathing down his neck, he didn’t even have time to set his feet, was falling backwards away and yet he still launched it 55-60 yards downfield for a completion.
April 29th, 2021 at 11:56 am
If a stud is ava at 32 take him, if not trade back & get Trask… best player ava at 32 or trade back…
April 29th, 2021 at 11:56 am
NO……NO……NO…..Please do not take Trask in 1st round. GO BUCS!!!!!
April 29th, 2021 at 12:02 pm
hope Licht doesn’t do foolish Bucs can p/u one of these guys in later round Honestly if it is offense they should let TB12 make the pick.
April 29th, 2021 at 12:08 pm
Look Jackson, I’m sure you’re a gators fan and you really appreciate the success that he managed to have for/with your team last year.
But if you can honestly tell me by watching him play that this guy has a Starting NFL QB caliber arm and skillset, then nothing I say is going to convince you otherwise. Because we just don’t agree on the reality of the situation.
You look at Trask and see a star, and I look at him a see a guy with a below average arm and physical ability who is poised to be career back up. Mike Glennon has a better arm than this guy.
Yeah, Trask is a gamer and he had the season of his life. And to his credit has “prototypical” size for the position. Although hasn’t it been thoroughly proven by guys like Brees, Wilson, Watson, Jackson and Murray that height doesn’t really matter? There are more rules than ever to protect the QB. You don’t need to be 6’5 230 to be able to survive in todays NFL.
April 29th, 2021 at 12:11 pm
@DingleBerry: I don’t take advice from casual fans.
I will compare any player to any other, including Brady.
My specific comparison was athletic ability that your fellow casual brought up.
April 29th, 2021 at 12:13 pm
In all those highlight plays, I saw not one where he went through progressions to get to his final target. That won’t play well in the NFL.
April 29th, 2021 at 12:17 pm
Look, I agree that we need to start looking around for a future signal-caller. I am not a fan of Trask though, ESPECIALLY in the 1st round! And yes, even at #32!
Buc fans being “Buc fans” will be calling for a 1st round rookie to come off the bench the minute Brady throws 3 picks! No, heck no!
April 29th, 2021 at 12:21 pm
SB Says:
April 29th, 2021 at 10:05 am
Absolute perfect QB to learn behind Brady.
BINGO!!!!!
GO BUCS!!!!!
April 29th, 2021 at 12:21 pm
With all the smokescreens “sources” out there pointing to Trask/Mills…I keep having this gut feeling that Bucs fans should get ready for Felipe Franks on Day 3…(Though I am on the Kellen Mond train, as best non-1st Rd QB option on the table DAY 2)
IMO, Franks fits the bill for a BA vertical passing game QB….6’6″ – 235 – with a Cannon…Big, strong armed, pocket passer w/ a world of untapped potential. He grew more as a man, a QB & team leader in 1yr at ARK; than his entire tenure under Mullens @ UF.
(Leaving FL – the state- for his SR yr was GREAT move for his personal growth & one I wished he had made earlier. Never thought he was a great fit for Mullen’s personality or scheme. Thought a more conventional Pro-style play action OFF suited his skill-set more than Mullens RPO system.)
With a little NFL coaching & a yr or 2 w/ TB12 in the QB room (learning how to be a pro’s pro), Franks could very well become the QB steal of this draft over then next 2-3yrs.
And a Day 3 Developmental QB miss doesn’t hurt the bottom line, like Day 1/Day 2 misses do to the roster!!!
April 29th, 2021 at 12:44 pm
I find it absolutely hilarious that the only people who actually want us to draft Trask are all the Gators fans.
Hmm, I wonder if they’re biased at all…
April 29th, 2021 at 12:45 pm
Lol you’re the idiot comparing a college player to the best QB of all time but I’m the casual. Makes sense if you’re R worded I guess.
April 29th, 2021 at 12:51 pm
Please no.
April 29th, 2021 at 1:01 pm
Teddy Bridgewater will be available for trade next year
April 29th, 2021 at 1:07 pm
Just like Jason signing Shaq when so many said no, sanity will prevail and Trask will not be the Bucs 1st round pick. Many O line and D line players grade out way higher than Trask. No he is not a Brady in the 6th round pick. BEST AVAILABLE PLAYER is the way to make this pick. Not a big gamble on someone is not going to be the BEST Available Player when the Bucs pick. NO….NO….NO GO BUCS!!!!!
April 29th, 2021 at 1:10 pm
If Arians, Lefty, Moore, and Clyde think he’s good enough, I’ll believe them over the chuckle heads on this board. I would also assume Tom gave his blessing too. That would be good enough for me.
April 29th, 2021 at 1:28 pm
Greg
“As a Gator fan here is what I am not understanding from neigh sayers on Trask. The guy played in the SEC.”
No one gives a f#ck what conference he came from. Especially not Licht if you’ve seen his track record. Vaughn broke Vanderbilt rushing record in two years in the SEC and people are still crying about a fifth RB in the first round.
April 29th, 2021 at 1:29 pm
Hodad
You just made the best point all day
April 29th, 2021 at 1:35 pm
Trask is perfect for TB. He can sit behind Tom for as long as Tom wants. His development from year to year has been great and could continue. And you want him at pick 32 instead of anywhere in the next rounds because you get a 5th year option on first rounders.
April 29th, 2021 at 1:48 pm
I wouldn’t hate it given his college resume is impressive…
Who did Mills beat to warrant hype?
Mond’s odds of bust is very high being a product of Jimbo coaching like all that came before him…
April 29th, 2021 at 1:49 pm
I’m a Gator fan. I watched him. Don’t draft him.
April 29th, 2021 at 2:20 pm
Lol I just don’t see what the trask fanboys see I guess he looks like he has peaked already with no more upside his passes look like he is throwing underwater but I guess to each his own just hope he isn’t a buc in any round

If they want to move up and take him in the 2nd I’m okay with that, but use the 1st for one of the premier RBs or DL help since Suh and JP are not getting any younger.

Not interested in a FL QB…

CalBucsfan Brady ain’t getting younger either. JPP and Suh can play longer than Brady . But next year draft is a better class for the defensive line position. I will draft Trask I think he’s better than Mac Jones . Go look at the Alabama game and you see . Mac Jones played with first round players at just about every position. His runningback, receivers, and offensive line who will be first round picks next year at least 2 of them .

If the Bucs draft a QB, I have great faith in Arians, Licht, Moore, Christenson and Leftwich’s analysis of the guy they pick.
I also wonder what role Tom Brady plays in this decision.

Sounds like a weak choice in the first round. Most of the qbs left by pick 32 would be no better than Gabbert this year. Resign Gab and go best available player at OL or DL where a young impact player could step in early if a key injury happened and be a starter in year two.

I love how fans for a team with a 6th round quarterback, want to say Trask has no upside, Pedestrian backup, no real talent. Any of you see Brady at the Combine?

Trask is better than Jones look at his weapons vs Trask . Trask threw over 40 touchdowns with just 2 good receivers.

Just dont draft a Florida state QB and we’ll be good
