Shocked, shocked shocked at the results of this poll. No way Shaq is not Tagged. Shaq said he wants to break the bank. Best leverage against that is put him in position that he is tagged – I think it is the only leverage Licht has.

I am not a capologist, but the tag on Succup is like what, $4 large, versus $16-17 large for Godwin and $20 large for Shaq. Put Godwin and Shaq on long term deals where this year’s cap hit is less than their franchise value, while extending the contracts you can to free up cap space. Please.
Franchise tag for kickers is around $5m. If you are ready to pay that to Succop he will sign immediately. No need to use the tag on him. I guess the plan is to get him in the $3m range – max.

Tag Succop, he’s definitely top 5 at his position. Offer LVD, Barrett & Godwin extremely fair deals.

Get those long term deals done for top 3 and tag David. Back load the deals so the cap hit is at a min which it usually is in first year of deal.

We have a lot of options there. And we can easily get more. Keeping the defense together is the top priority.
There will certainly be a market for Godwin, but we have Miller, OJ, Brate, Gronk, Evans…and whoever comes in. No point in over spending for Godwin.

If Bucs lose Barrett & Godwin. Replace them with Yannick Ngakoue & Curtis Samuels and re-sign all our own free agents

Oh Tyler Johnson would be an excellent no. 2 in the event Godwin leaves. He would thrive watching Evans & AB’s work ethic, football IQ and skills
