Shaq Barrett Unleashed: “I Told Him He Was A Scrub. I Told Him He Was Trash. He Gotta Take A Train Home.”

One of the truly nice guys of the Buccaneers roster got awfully annoyed yesterday and, hell, the season is over so he let loose his rage memories on national television.
Bucs sackmaster Shaq Barrett is a family man of deep faith and he always plays a clean game. But the chippy and mouthy Chiefs, specifically right tackle Andrew Wylie, got under Shaq’s skin in yesterday’s historic Super Bowl.
”No. 77, he was talking so much he made me mad. I was coming at his neck all game,” Shaq said.
Shaq doesn’t even remember (allegedly) what Wylie was saying to him, but he does remember what he fired back.
”I told him he was a scrub. I told him he was trash. He gotta take a train home,” Shaq screamed to to the NFL Network cameras.

I believe either Shaq, JPP or White should of been MVP. The defence won us this championship.
Let’s say Tom was on the Chiefs and we had Mahomes. Tom would have left this game on a stretcher.
Mahomes was a warrior out there today. I don’t care what qb the chiefs put out there today this defence was going to dominate them.
I am very grateful for Tom and everything he has done for the team but last night belonged to our defence.
A performance for the ages.

I agree, the defense played lights out, but Brady did throw 3 TD Passes, and was 20 of 29.

that dumb ass ! Wiley must have known he was in over his head, thinking he can psych out someone who is burning him on almost every play ! Its like a 9th grade 110 pound football player trying to outpsych the senior 190 pound lineman at each snap. Probably got Shaq angrier and gave him extra fuel to destroy him every play.

As I said in March of 2020 this team was a HOF team that would dominate like no other and despite the losses that did occur the team had a historic run at the championship. Excuse makers will always say the Bucs had it handed to them by the refs, that is just what losers do, blame everyone else but themselves. Why did Brady win the MVP? because of his leadership in turning a losing franchise into a dream team. I hope when Brady’s playing career ends that he decides to become the coach of the Buccaneers and lead us to dynasty heights. I truly believe he would make a very good head coach after Arians decides to put it to rest.
Good Game Buccaneers you certainly deserved it and were a joy to watch play the game of football. GO BUCS!!!!!!

Vea is MVP. He pushed as many guys as he had to into Mahomes. Without him we don’t get home with four as consistently as we did.

I agree with Bellingham: Vea was the key against the Packers and now the Chefs.
Between Suh and Vea, the pocket was pushed back to Mahomes, and he had to run for his life from the edge guys.
No middle push, he stands tall and slices the Bucs D.

David I feel like half of those yards even came after we played prevent. David seemed to always been pretty close to him, except during some of the zone coverages.

Bellingham Buc & Cobraboy … Hard to pick just 1 MVP for last night’s game; it was truly a TEAM effort.
Brady had an excellent game, but so did Gronk & Fournette especially. And of course the whole OLine plus RoJo … they really stood tall all game.
Vea was superb, but it was Ndamukong Suh who I was the happiest for. I really feel like he probably appreciates this SB win more than anyone else. I think he’s put together a HOF career, but without this SB victory AND his place in Bucs’ history, he might very well have gotten passed over. I’m convinced that he’s embraced this TEAM and this defense in much the same way that Tom Brady embraced this TEAM and our offense. Really want to see Suh come back next year … and nail a second SB championship to close out his career.

If you can’t take the heat, don’t dish it out. Winfield took it the first game and dished it out after playing beautifully last night. Somebody said last night that it was the best 15 yard penalty we have ever taken. I couldn’t agree more. Credit to Hill for taking it like a man and giving props to our D.

Chiefs O line got roasted. Vea was a big factor. Any other QB besides Mahomes would had 6-8 sacks easy. Mahomes is unreal in the way he moved and got rid of the ball. But on the full team level we outcoached them and outplayed them on all levels.

I didn’t realize that the Chiefs were such “bully boys”. For the next several years the Buccaneers will show the NFL and the world the difference between class and trash. Character and intangibles do matter when it comes to sustaining a high level of excellence.
I predict that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will become the new “America’s Team”.

I would agree JimBob, but there are too many Brady haters out there. And too many that think we bought a championship. What team doesn’t try to improve with free agents if they can? The difference is that it actually worked this time.
And you and me both BlueCoffee. He is already a great coach. I hope he sticks around when he retires in a couple of years.

Thanks BlueCoffee and SKBucsfan. I just thought that with Brady’s incredible knowledge of both offenses and defenses it would be a excellent coaching choice vs most coaches who specialize in either offense or defense, Brady knows both very well. He has been under Bill and now Arians and understands what it takes to be a great motivator and pulls the best out of players from deep inside. They want to play well for him and what more could you ask for from a head coach.
I understand that coaches usually break into the college ranks first or as a specialty coach or assistant but if I were the Glazers I would entertain the thought of having Brady coach the Buccaneers and truly become the champion great of all sports by continuing his dominance of the NFL for decades to come.

BUCKS ARE BAD ASS. BRADY DID HIS JOB SO DID THE RECIVERS. BUT THE DEFENSE WAS UNSTOPPABLE. MVP GOES OUT TO THE WHOLE TEAM.
