Expect Jordan Whitehead, Antoine Winfield, Jr., And Lavonte David To Play In The Super Bowl

The Bucs are getting healthy in a hurry. Very healthy.
In today’s final pre-Super Bowl injury report, only two players are listed as questionable: furniture-hurling, bicycle-unfriendly Antonio Brown (knee) and Cameron Brate (back).
It’s awesome news, because that means Lavonte David (hamstring), Jordan Whitehead (knee) and Antonine Winfield Jr. (ankle) are ready to roll. Hopefully, those three were completely honest with trainers and team doctors about their conditions.
It won’t help the Bucs if Whitehead’s shoulder pops out on his first big hit and Winfield and David are playing a step-and-a-half slow.
Damn, this is all great news.

I really hope Brate is healthy enough to play. I was more confident yesterday but he didn’t practice today… it’s a similar pattern to what happened to Antoine. Injured on Thursday can’t go Friday and then missed the game.

I know Whithead is dealing with a knee issue, but didn’t he dislocate his shoulder two weeks ago? Isn’t that the real concern Joe? The way he hits, I don’t see how he can hang the whole game with a bum shoulder.

Don’t like the possibility of Brate being out. That dude is always clutch on critical downs. Would the Bucs be better with AB in the game? Yes, because it gives the defense headaches to cover him and opens things up for other receivers. But, if he can’t go on Sunday, the Bucs can make do. If Brate or AB has to miss the game, I’d much rather it be AB. We need Brate.

bucs haven’t been this healthy since the season began. early season the WRs were playing through alot of injuries, midseason we lost Vea and towards the end it seemed like every player in the secondary was week to week at some point.
great to have it all coming together vs an opponent where we’ll need every scrap of talent to win

Seriously Lamarcus? Godwin was hurt almost all season, has been playing with a broken finger, and STILL caught over 77% of the balls thrown to him (65 of 84) for 840 yds receiving in just 12 games, to include 7 TDs (tied for 2nd most on the team with Gronk). Not enough for ya? Good thing you’re not the Bucs coach if you’d have him ‘ride the bench this time’.

We certainly didn’t play well at home this year in some big TV games, but I would think winning the Super Bowl at home in that same stadium would warrant the retiring of that old moniker.

We’re gonna win this game. Most of the so called “experts” are picking the Chiefs. However, I would say both offenses are a wash, but our defense is significantly better than the Chiefs. Plus, the Chiefs are without their top offensive tackles and we have Mt. Vea back who was not there in the first matchup which the Chiefs barely won. Now, I understand, the Chiefs took their collective feet off the gas pedal because we were so far behind after a quarter. Bowles has learned since then!

Everybody is suiting up even if they can only give 10 plays. Fck KC and Patty mahomes. Sick of hearing about that soft team. Bucs offense is just as good and the defense will stay aggressive.

Expect Antonio Brown to play in the SB. The advantage is that he doesn’t have to fly to the SB which will prevent any lingering swelling. I just hope Brate is not hampered by the back issue because he has been Mr. Dependable in the passing game and the Chiefs don’t cover TEs very well. I’m hoping Gronk makes a splash on the big stage as well.
The Bucs, are looking pretty healthy and stout. Having Vita Vea back is a HUGE difference maker as well. If we keep everything in front, I expect the Bucs will pull this out.
