Tom Brady On Bruce Arians: He’s Great!
January 29th, 2021Remember all of the sports network hollering shows who thought Bucs coach Bucco Bruce Arians was ruining park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring, down-forgetting, handshake-stiffing, jet-ski-losing, biscuit-baking Bucs quarterback Tom Brady?
Yeah, that was some keen observation there.
So yesterday Brady was asked about Arians and how he and Arians are on the same page, or if he even likes playing for Arians.
Brady came out with a strong defense of Arians and if there is something going on behind the scenes, Brady sure did a helluva acting job.
“I think from the moment that I really met him – and obviously I had known about B.A. over the course of a lot of years — he’s a coach that’s been in the league a while, but he came and commentated for one or two of our games when he was doing that [with CBS],” Brady said. “Then, I got to meet him and speak to him during free agency. The whole pandemic and so forth is still ongoing [and] it’s very difficult to develop a real relationship because we didn’t have the opportunity through OTAs and so forth to communicate.
“But, we did speak on Zoom with the captains at one point, we got a couple rounds of golf in which was a lot of fun. Just to understand his personality [and] understand his background – I had seen his [NFL Network biography] “Football Life” [and] I had seen a lot of other things that have been broadcasted and so forth. He’s a great man, he’s a great leader, he’s a great person, he’s a great friend [and] he’s very loyal.”
Loyalty has impressed Brady, a trait other players bring up about Arians.
“He’s just got a great way about communicating effectively with everybody around here,” Brady said. “Everybody has a great affection for him for the person he is. There’s nobody that ever would say anything bad about B.A. He’s just so endearing to everybody and I think everyone wants to win for him.
“I think that’s what you want to do for a coach – you want to get out there and you want to win for him. He puts a lot into it, expects a lot out of it, has high expectations for us every day in practice [and I am] just really excited for him to be recognized in the way that he is.”
Brady also suggested Arians ought to be NFL Coach of the Year. Joe concurs.
“I know he’s a two-time Coach of the Year, but [he has] just done an amazing job this year with the team in really adverse situations,” Brady said. “I love playing for him.”
There is no question in Joe’s mind Arians should be coach of the year (if you include the playoffs). Not only has he taken a moribund franchise and within two years got that team to a Super Bowl, but he did so with a new quarterback who is an old man and several critical rookies all the while revamping his offense without OTAs or minicamps.
That’s a helluva job!
Tom Brady’s former teammate @ninko50 thinks TB12 needs a new head coach.
“Brcue Arians at this point, he’s not cutting it. … I don’t think Tom Brady gets confused by coverages.” pic.twitter.com/Hoq6LXBp5z

Jason Licht deserves credit as well. I know I sure crucified him when he was making bonehead moves. He’s acknowledged his mistakes, corrected most and built one helluva team. Bravo Zulu

But, but, but, the sheep lover told us that this coaching staff sucks.

Ndog told us that we would rue the day that we got rid of Jameis Winston. I thought those guys knew what they were talking about.🤤😂😂

I know he probably won’t get it, but Tom Brady should definitely be the MVP this year. Aaron Rodgers stats regardless. And MVP should be what the most valuable player to a team really means. Tom Brady took us from a dumpster fire to the Super Bowl

3 more years Tom, stay at least 3 more years as the Bucs QB. It is nice living in the Penthouse of the NFL after years in the stinky basement next to the garbage dumpster. GO BUCS!!!!!

Tom is Great , Bruce is OK, timing is everything…. it is Tom’s time to shine under a easy going Coach who is smart enough to get out of the way and let Tom prove to the World that he is thE GOAT!!!

Ndog said jameis would get 5 years 150 mil. And to bank on it 😂
Instead
He got 1 year 1.1 mil from saints
——
Ndog cant even post under real name cause he is so butt hurt And looks so bad. I mean what a coward. Hey if jameis blows up next year for saints or other team , i will admit i was wrong. I wont hide in shame and not post or change my poster name like the messiah cult has done. I mean it just proves they are not real buc fans. Just jameis fans. He is no longer a buc so who cares. And those saying he didnt get a fair shot, gimme a break. He got 5 years. And oh yah , brady took practically the same team (mostly with guys that came here cause of brady ) all the way to the super bowl in his first year. Cause if jameis cannot make playoffs and win with saints, there are no more defense sucks / oline garbage / kicker lame/. Indigestion / new coaching / new system/ bad field excuses.

Amen SB!
Go Bucs!
In BA I Trust!

Realist and ndog must have run their accounts through Robinhood. It’s the only explanation for why “real” fans would disappear when “their” team makes the chip.

I like how each position group in the NFL has it’s own bonding rituals. If you are a quarterback, you better learn how to play golf with your head coach. If your an o-lineman it’s barbeque. If your a db it’s strip clubs.

I just can’t wait to see who y’all blame this year. It should be entertaining.
I just love how all of you act like no one else on this team made mistakes. It is hilarious that you have actually convinced yourselves of this, hilarious.
Yes it is 100% all one players fault, every penalty, every TO, everything.
I love you guys you provide so much fictional entertainment.
Watching games with you guys would be unbearable. I can see it now you’re always yelling at the wrong guy cause you have no idea what you’re watching. Ive seen it at the stadium so many times and I just shake my head, just like I do at you.

Ndog, “Brady won with Jameis’s team”.
Tmax, “Jameis would have gone undefeated with this team!”
No 2 people are rooting for the Chiefs stronger than these 2. Being able to say, “I told you so”, is so much more fun to them than enjoying this season.

Winning heals all disagreements.

This isn’t GB kicking a FG when they were down by five or Rodgers slouching and weeping in some zoom interview about his future with the Packers.

What a difference a coach makes! Look back to 2018 and compare to 2019. Now, a Super Bowl.
Yeah, it took great players to get here but it took a great coach to change the loser culture.

“He’s a great man…great leader…great person…great friend…great communicator…everyone has great affection for him…I love playing for him”
Have to wonder how many of those compliments TB has said on the record in the last 20-yrs. about Belichick, let alone in just 1-yr.?
