Joe’s not worried about Vikings kicker Dan Bailey challenging Shaq Barrett to a fight.
And Joe wouldn’t be shocked if that actually happened after last night’s shade on national television.
Before Bailey melted down yesterday against the Bucs, missing four kicks that would have totaled 10 points, he was a veteran former Pro Bowler having a down season.
Now Bailey’s on the verge of getting fired, and his humiliation and costly misses weren’t lost on Shaq.
NBC Sports super insider Mike Florio had a private chat with Shaq after the Bucs’ 26-14 victory and shared some of their discussion on Football Night In America.
Florio closed the segment with a quote from the reigning NFL sacks king: “Barrett told me with a laugh, ‘Tell the kicker we appreciate him.'”
Ouch!
Imagine if Saquon Barkley had said that about Matt Gay last year. Fun stuff.
Hopefully, Shaq will be saying something similar about the Falcons offensive line on Sunday.

Cam Jordon had the ultimate burn when we said he couldn’t tell the difference in RayJay with the empty stadium compared to normal Buc home games, ouch. lol

Not something to be proud about Shaq, You don´t kick somebody when he is falling and talk about it with the press…..If you have an argument, keep it private, you do not comment about it with the hungry tabloid so called National Journalists

What was private about it? The whole country saw the debacle and then it was amplified on all the sports talk shows. Nearly all of Joe’s posts yesterday mentioned it. The dude imploded, pure and simple. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy. No one is going to get down on him more than he will on himself.

The Bucs should send Bailey a check for this game. He left 10 points out there. Now lets not overlook the fact that Dalvin Cook ran all over this top rush defense. He could’ve had more yards if it wasn’t for him tripping and losing his footing on some runs. Glad the Bucs won but for once I’m glad the Bucs were on the other end when it comes to a kicker having a bad day.

Big buc, those “trips” you saw, and there were several were tackles by winfield mostly. Rewatch and you’ll see he gets enough of his foot to bring him down. Thank god cause he was flying thanks to cj ham, a fullback, something ba refuses to ise even on 3rd and 1, he blew david and white out of the plays. That’s why winfield had 12 tackles. Probably 6 td saving shoestring tackles as well

@Dewey Selmon Agreed. I attended yesterday and the amount of Vikings Fans is embarrassing. I do my best to make them uncomfortable. The simple fact is when your team has been irrelevant for over a decade this is the result. Let’s hope this is the beginning of a long period of relevance so we can actually gain a homefield advantage….

That was just real talk no need to exaggerate what it meant. Dan Bailey likely won that game for us. For some reason the head coach thinks this was a dominant win. Damn this is going to be a very short postseason. Saints fans should thank us for knocking Vikings out of the playoffs 😂😂😂

Geez it’s football. Players talk smack to each other all the time. I’m sure on the field a lot worse was said to Bailey by the Bucs to make him miss kicks. Besides someone needs to ask Cousins if “ he liked that”..

We most likely lose if hadn’t missed all those kicks. That was 10 points right there, not too mention how it would have affected playcalling by both teams down the stretch…

I’m not feeling bad for a kicker that got paid lots of money to kick balls. There are many ladies out there that like to kick balls but they don’t get paid a lot of money to do it. Put your big boy pants on and take it like a man. Cam Jordan has been laughing at Donovan Smith and the inability of the Bucs to beat the Aints. Go ahead and read him the riot act too.
