Former Packers wide receiver James Jones can smell it.
And the scent is coming from Derek Jeter’s house on Davis Islands.
Jones knows what it takes to win a Super Bowl. He’s got a ring himself. So when he saw that the Bucs had signed wide receiver, furniture-tossing Antonio Brown, it meant one thing for Jones: The Bucs are all-in, hellbent on being the first team to play in a Super Bowl in their own home stadium.
In a segment on “Total Access” last week, seen weeknights on NFL Network, Jones and NFL Network’s Bucs beat reporter Sara Walsh discussed the Bucs signing Brown.
“First off, the Bucs are trying to win the Super Bowl, and get to the Super Bowl,” Jones said. “That’s what this [signing] tells me, bringing in Antonio Brown in the building.”
And while the Bucs have dogs in the wide receiver room, Jones said now with the Bucs, there is one big dog.
“Listen, this is a talented wide receiver group,” Jones said. “But when Antonio Brown walks in this building, he is the best one in that room. Period!”
Jones had one word to describe what went through the minds of defensive backs throughout the NFC South upon learning they now will have to cover Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, foot-rubbing, car-littering Rob Gronkowski, Scotty Miller and now Brown, sometimes all on the field for the same play.
“Nightmare.”

I don’t agree AB is the best but he is the most accomplished and provides a deeper threat. Mike has great hands and provides the biggest red zone threat and Godwin has great hands and will get the yards after the catch. Then you can’t overlook Gronk and Miller as both are starting to establish themselves as solid targets. This room should never be made up of individuals but of options cause once Brady starts focusing on one of them he then will lose our advantage as teams will see it and players will feel it and will lose their rhythm and not being ready. This is a team that will spread every defense if all options are viable and the right decision will be made with the opposing defense which will have to change throughout the game as they will not come in with a set pattern as our options are too many.

Based purely on play, if you’d rather have AB right now than Mike Evans, or even Godwin; you’re blind, stooped or living hopelessly in the past.

Now showing “Nightmare on Dale Mabry” Again as I have said before, AB strikes fear into opposing defenses, just like Brady does. How does a coordinator prepare to stop the unstoppable, that is the offense J Licht has created this year starting with the Master and GOAT Brady. When they start lining up 4 wides, oh my it is going to be a awesome sight to see. With the best defense they have had since Warren and Brooks and Lynch, happy days are here again. GO BUCS!!! Mike and Godwin are two of my favorite Bucs ever, but if Brown comes in 100% mentally (lol, very important) and physically I agree with Jones.

I will say that AB is the more accomplished WR and based off his past he is a more established route runner than Evans and Godwin. Godwin is a beast but I do feel that AB a 3 gear over Godwin and Evans. Only thing that worries me is that he hasn’t played in over a year so I soon will he be up to speed and what AB are we getting. Lets not over look he is 32 years old. I hate to say it but everyone got hype over the bucs bringing in McCoy at 32 years old. It would not surprise me he is cut or inactive on gameday. I will say that AB works hard and stays in shape so I think he will be ready to go when called upon.

First of all Joe you’re selling yourself short!! Because again, people don’t come here and this sight is not popular because of the stupid monikers!! They come here because you get inside info and your not afraid to call out bad players or bad people!! Like you have with Brown!! That and the lack of bucs sights with something to read every single day!!! …. Your monikers have NOTHING to do with the success of this sight!! When all healthy, I would say AB is the #3 WR, just barely edging out Scotty Miller. But as it stands now, with Evans and Godwin banged up, he definitely is the de facto #1.

Joe you miss the point on the goofy name calling you do. It’s not about having the same boring approach as other websites. It’s about annoying repetition. Example, go to people you know and tell them a joke. Then tell them the same joke in the same way the next day, and the next, and the next, and the next, and on and on and on. It’s just simply annoying. Many readers don’t come here because of that repetition, they come here in spite of it.
No one’s saying stop being different and unique. That’s fun stuff. But for pity sake’s, be a little creative. Really, you can do this.

Ok, Brown is the best in the NFL but not the bucs… ok! AB has more all pros then all of our recievers combined have pro bowls. He literally is the best in the league. That isn’t my opinion, it’s his peers. So who knows more, you or the guys in the league who actually line up against him…..yeah I know..you do..

Evans owns every Buc WR record. Godwin is a beast (when healthy). Miller is one of the best deep threats the Bucs have ever seen.
That said …
They are correct. IF the Bucs get the AB of old, he is the best WR on the team.

Got three words for them all, HA HA HA!!! Seriously though let’s not party ourselves on the back and shoo us in as Super Bowl winners. AB might be in great shape calasthenics wise abed can still run routes and catch all that good stuff but best believe he’s not in NFL gridiron shape yet. It took Gronk 5 games to get there, thru the pains of running in mud and sometimes stone hands so it’s going to take him some time to get used to those NFL hits again after almost years off. AB is definitely a better receiver than Evans who goes down rather easy and always fades away from contract, plus he can’t get open now. Godwin is another story, our own beast mode receive, fearless and sure handed. He might not drop kick a kicker for having the audacity to even attempt to tackle him like AB, but very physical none the less.
Why can’t we get rid of the female posters posing as men who get all upset and boo hooing about some lil ol monikers that Joe uses on HIS site, and out of humor and not disrespect??? How many times does it have to be explained to you over and over and over again????? So funny to see them running into each other’s arms and high 5n themselves for making their point!!! Mine was Sabby the Goat. As for AB, ME & CG are the #1 & #2 on the Bucs.
AB has been “all that” in the past, but he hasn’t proved spit in 2020. Seems to me that Brady is extending the friendship hand to try and help AB. I think that is great of Brady to do this for AB, but don’t alienate ME or CG with all this “best receiver in the room” BS when AB has done nothing to prove himself.

Joe’s monikers is journalism GOLD! I actually look forward to them EVERYTIME. The punchline isn’t the moniker…the punchline is the predictable agitation from “older fans” who hate it!! I love how they threaten to stop reading JBF, all the while KNOWING that (A) they’re going to be back after the next Bucs game and (B) nobody gives a flying BUC whether they stay away or not, lol! Its like the kid who’s teamates give him a nickname that he hates…the more he objects to being called it, the greater the amusement of his teammates…and the more the name sticks!
