Probabilities.
With the shameful display along the lakefront in Chicago last week and the slimy Saints rallying from a 17-point deficit to beat the Chargers in overtime to force a three-way tie for first in the NFC South, teams’ playoff chances have been recalculated.
And the Bucs’ dropped from last week’s 65 percent. Now, per PlayoffStatus.com, the Bucs have a hair over a 50/50 shot of making the playoffs.
It stands at 56 percent. The slimy Saints are at 60 percent and the Stinking Panthers hold a 52 percent of postseason action.
The Bucs have a 28 percent chance of playing a home game in the playoffs and their most likely opponent would be the slimy Saints.
New Orleans is now its bye week, but the Panthers have a game with huge playoff implications for the Bucs. Carolina (3-2) hosts the Bears (4-1) at 1 p.m.
The Bucs host the undefeated Packers on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. A Bucs loss (football gods forbit) would give them three losses in the NFC, and conference games are a key playoff tiebreaker. The Saints and Panthers are both 2-1 in NFC games. The Bears are 4-0 in the conference.

No reason why Tampa Bay can’t win Sunday. The problem centers around coaching suffering major brain farts. How about a decent gamelan on both sides of the ball? I’m looking at you, BA!

Bucs have a 100% chance of making the playoffs IMO. Stats are for losers.

I think the season will be in jeopardy if the Bucs lose to the Packers. I also don’t think a 10-6 season is going to be enough to make it to the playoffs. If they lose on Sunday then you have to find eight wins on the schedule to make it to the playoffs. That have to go 8-2 the rest of the way if they lose and that’s a really tall order.

Giving the Cowboys the NFC East…..The Packers the North, The Saints the South And the Seahawks the west…
The teams we need to be concerned with are the Panthers, Bears, Rams & Cardinals…..we need to have a better record than 2 of those teams to make the playoffs….(I’m assuming another team doesn’t rise)
We can win Sunday…..of course…..but it would take a perfect game which I’m not sure we are capable of.

Tbb agreed. In order to beat Rogers and his undefeated packers we will have to play a perfect game and honestly I don’t think we are there yet. Maybe some of you were right and they might get it together around week 7 or 8. Let’s go Bucs

The Bucs should beat the Packers??? Please pass along whatever is being smoked. Lmao. Have you guys watched the same games that I have this season? I see nothing so far to indicate we can even compete with Green Bay. Sorry, but I just do not see it.

I watch every Packers game being in cheese country. Rodgers is the heart and soul of that team and that’s about it. Their defense isn’t anything special and look at the teams they’ve played so far none of them except maybe the Saints have a defense as good as we do. If we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot I don’t see why we can’t pull one out Sunday.

Gotta beat the teams you are supposed to beat (Chicago) playoff teams beat the inferior teams.
Bucs have winnable games left vs the Giants, Panthers, Falcons (twice) Vikings, Lions and Raiders. Win against all those teams and you have a 10-6 record.
If the Bucs stumble against one of those teams they should/could beat you are looking at 9-7 or 8-8 or hoping to beat a good, competent opponent who won’t beat themselves like the Saints, Rams, Chiefs, or Packers.
With this coaching staff’s inability to instill discipline and make the players understand situational football I can’t imagine this team being able to beat a good team like GB, KC, Saints or Rams. 9-7 MIGHT get the team the 7th seed but no way this team does better than that with the way their are wildly inconsistent

I actually think we will win, remember I said we would be 13-3 this year which looks more like 12-4 probably.

they didnt look well coached vs the PATS or BILLS….2 teams just as strong and well coached as KC…..
so teams that look dominate and unstoppable can get beat…..

I think we lose to Green Bay ans to the Raiders and then we beat the Giants leaving us at 4-4 after the 1st half of the season.

Bucs at 3 – 2 in the division are now in third place. Atlanta, 0 – 5, fires the coach and promotes Morris. Atlanta then goes 8 – 3 for the rest of the season, and the Bucs settle back into the comfort of Buccaneers Cove. The “Den of Depression” gets renamed “The Arena of Anguish”. Can anything else go wrong in 2020 ??

One thing for sure is that the pressure will be on Bruce Arians this week…..after an extended week of preparation there are no excuses for him to put another sloppy product out on the field.

Sure we have the same record but there are tie breakers and it goes as follows:
Saints > Bucs > Panthers.
And an upcoming loss to the Packers will put us at the bottom

Arians has got to take control of all of these penalties man. This is the second year in a row and it’s looking like a pattern. If Arians and his 8 bajillion coaches can keep our players heads on straight, we are more than talented enough to beat the Packers. We’ve had some serious injuries and got screwed by the refs in Chicago, but there are zero excuses for losing to the Bears. Time to put up or shut up.
