All In On Bucs
September 29th, 2020The way Joe looks at it, former NFL MVP quarterback Rich Gannon has to be a good dude.
Sure, he’s still pals with Chucky. But that’s not all of it.
Gannon, the former Raiders quarterback, has every reason to despise the Bucs. For it was the Bucs that ended his Super Bowl dreams on a chilly San Diego evening in January 2003.
And on a ferocious sack by Derrick Brooks, Gannon saw his career come to an end in 2004. He never played another game as the neck injury he suffered trying to scramble away from Brooks was too much to overcome.
However, Gannon, who appears weekly during the football season on CBS Sports Network, said if he was a gambling man, he’d lay cash on park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady and the Bucs doing damage this year.
“I’ve learned a long time ago you never bet against Tom Brady,” Gannon said.
Gannon went on to add that he sees the Bucs offense growing as Brady becomes comfortable. Gannon also believes Brady will not only make Bucco Bruce Arians a better coach, he will make Bucs players better.
Another reason Gannon is bullish on the Bucs? He is a believer in Todd Bowles’ defense.
You can see Gannon speak about Brady and the Bucs in the CBS Sports Network video below..

I’m all in too.
Jameis threw away millions and possibly a Lombardi.
But hey you better check the sheet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Bucs!!!!

Yeah right
They ain’t going no where with Byron Suckwich as the Bucs OC
September 29th, 2020 at 8:41 am
How about some props for our punter? Pinion’s punts are about as good as anyone in the league. His kickoffs are never returned. And his holds for kicks are perfect. Nice “weapon” to have.

I have to agree with one of the above commenters that our offense will be limited by Leftwich’s playcalling and scheme in general. There are very few occasions where we gain yards because of the scheme creating misdirection and allowing receivers to get open by design. Too much reliance on receivers to beat their men or make spectacular catches. Brady and our receiving core are good at this, but against teams like Chiefs, Packers, Seahawks they would struggle in matching production despite having the firepower.

We will get better each week… if we stay healthy, we are making a deep run
September 29th, 2020 at 9:00 am
Anthem and Johnny: wake up, TB12 changes the play to suit what he see in the D, so Leftwich’s impact is minimal. Wht are you guys so down on Left?
September 29th, 2020 at 9:08 am
We better get better each week. After the hopeless Chargers the schedule gets a little tougher. Bears, Packers and Raiders then a break with the sucky Giants then the Saints another gimme Panthers. Then the home stretch Rams, Chiefs, Vikings, Dixie Chicks twice and the sucky Lions. Unless our offense( ie play calling ) doesn’t get much better looks like 8-8 just enough to justify keeping Licht.

You wanna know how bad NFL.communist hates the Bucs??? Tom Brady had a quietly very good game and it’s evident he’s getting more comfortable in the offense and not one story about who has been the media darling for 20 years! They even had a story about Kurt Cousins who’s been suckin it up this year or the Browns but nada about the GOAT. It’s surreal!
September 29th, 2020 at 9:28 am
Do you really think that Brady didn’t have a part of the play calling when he sat down with Leftwich and Arians? Go Bucs! 😀🏈

BL IS WORKING MAGIC!!!!!!!
DEN took away mike and the deep ball so BL adjusted with the TEs….
the only difference between teams like the chief, ravens, packers, seahawks is ALL of those offenses have been playing together for a few years now…..
you clowns think brady, gronk and rojo know the playbook well enough for BL to just open it up after week3?…..NO….
combined with BL having to teach the offense some of the plays brady likes to run, its going to take a little time…..
bucs were #3 in offense last year….you clowns think BA wouldve had us #1?…lol….
if we win it all, it’ll be because BL outscored KC or any other team….
GO BUCS!!!!

Some of you idiots deserve to lose – you’re never happy and never content.
I’m glad I don’t have to live around or be around you.
September 29th, 2020 at 10:08 am
I wouldn’t get too down on BL. He’s a massive improvement over Dirk Koetter, who should be available for hire in a few weeks. Maybe the Saints wil hire him, people down in NOLA are starting to grumble about Sean Payton being “too rigid in his playcalling”.

I don’t get it joe. We loose and everyone complains rightfully soo but we are winning and fans are still complaining. Smh. Come on people tighten up

BINGO!!!!!!!
we lose and folks bash the OC….we win and folks bash the OC…..lol…
folks bashing BL act like he’s been the OC for 10years with the bucs….lol…they act like we won both our game 10-3 and 9-6 only because of defense and the offense had negative rushing and passing yards….lol…
brady knew BA wasnt calling play…you think brady signs with tampa if he thought BL was lousy?…lol…
GO BUCS!!!!!

Just saw some good stats on ESPN power rankings. Ndog will like.
They are stats from last year through three games to this year. Last year 60% this year 65% completion percentage. Last year 27.3 red zone td percentage this year 80%. Completion percentage on throws that travel 20 plus yards. Last year 45% this year 50%. Ndog I can’t figure out what the difference is can you help me out. It can’t be the new noodle arm qb we signed

Only trolls like the TheBucsAnus will whine after a win. Check yo sheet on the stats since BL has been OC.
September 29th, 2020 at 10:53 am
The offense is getting better each week. I think it needs 2 more weeks before we have a complete game on offense. The defense on the other hand is playing lights out and is now the 4th ranked defense in the NFL.

Wish I could upvote or rec the above comment! And honestly, I had t see. Those stats, but I’m not surprised because that’s what I’ve seen watching the games. I’m so happy watching a QB that consistently makes good choices and throws with amazing accuracy. I’d be interested to see the YAC stats as well, I suspect those are much higher as well. I’m not bashing, I was a JW supporter, but I’m glad we made the change. I think JW will be too someday. Sometimes a little humbling in life is needed for a person to get their head right. Hopefully JW will take the lesson and improve himself. Anyway, excited for next game, go Bucs!

Ive seen a few fans comparing our stats after 3 games from last year to this year. Well if I remember right game 4 last year was when we lit up the Rams……..So that tells me you wont see these comparisons anymore…..Thats a cheap example of how some use stats only to fit a narritive.
Basically what Im saying is those using theses stats are worth ignoring. Just a fair warning.
September 29th, 2020 at 11:21 am
I really dislike these anti Leftwitch points but we better get used to it. I listen to quite a few Bucs podcasts and this is where the narritive is getting spread from Im sure of it.
Many of these are low level podcasts. These arent football experts they are plain Buc fans that are good on computers.
Im convoced Madden Football has something to do with this as people think they learn how to call a pro game because they play. I literaly once heard a fan say once that Byron just doesnt get it……
…..Freaking hilarious. They are implying they get it more then a legitimate OC. Its really a bit disturbing.
Just take one look at our redzone offense and bite me with this narritive.
September 29th, 2020 at 11:22 am
TheBucsAnthem: Byron is dumb for running on first down.
Also TheBucsAnthem: I’m so dumb I’d punt on first down.

Positives:
1. 2 Victory Mondays
2. The Bucs are 2-1 and #1 in the NFC South
3. We have football to watch on Sundays
Negatives:
1. None … but everyone on this board still likes to complain.
September 29th, 2020 at 12:23 pm
I’m OK with Leftwich.
Call enough plays to win.
No need to expose the entire playbook less than 1/4 of the way through the season, especially against teams you should beat anyway.
September 29th, 2020 at 1:23 pm
There is a distinct difference between our current offense and the one that began the season. The offense that faced the Saints was trying to compete with them.
Today’s offense albeit defeating two terrible teams, showed that they can control teams if everyone stays focused and motivated. Today’s offensive scheme seems less bomb more finesse. This helps us with these unnecessary hamstring injuries due to poor strength and conditioning. If BL and Arians continue to create deceptive short game plays, using multiple sets and faces, they will become impossible to decipher for defenses and should steal a Super Bowl or two.
GO BUCS!!
