Joe isn’t sure is if this is just the sign of the times or evidence of Bucs friends parting ways? Or something much worse.
Bucs superfan Steven Cheah of Barstool Sports posted on Twitter this morning someone by the handle of “727vintage” (someone from Pasco or Pinellas county 727 area code?) is selling on eBay a game-worn Mike Evans jersey.
What’s the big deal about that? Well, the jersey is purported to have been signed by Evans. OK, so? Well, Evans wrote a personal note on it. And that personal note was to Mr. Entertainment, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler and former Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston.
The implication here is that Jameis may be selling the jersey.
If this jersey is authentic, it raises a few questions:
Why would Jameis sell it? And if the seller isn’t Jameis, did the guy get the jersey as a gift from Jameis or even buy it from Jameis?
Is this jersey stolen property?
Is someone within Jameis’ inner circle selling the jersey without his knowledge?
Evans, even after Jameis left and the Bucs signed park-violating, home-invading, NFLPA-ignoring Bucs quarterback Tom Brady (hi Paul — thanks for reading!), Evans has said he and Jameis are tight and that they will be friends long after their football days are over.
This all seems very odd to Joe.

Maybe like many before him JW has poor money management skills and over extended himself falsely believing he was good enough to get another multi million dollar contract…
Once he is out of the league in a year or two he may have to sell WAY more than just a jersey!

I am sure this jersey has nothing to do with Mike’s and Jameis’ friendship. Just another internet driven thing to generate clicks and maybe defraud someone of some money.

There was another Evans jersey on eBay that had Larry Fitzgerald on it. All of it seems fishy to me.
