Tom Brady Talks Bruce Arians: “There’s A Perfectionist About Him Everybody Respects”

August 28th, 2020

Tom Brady literally pounds a table

Don’t underestimate the head coach-quarterback relationship.

It’s always critical, and it’s especially important because Bucco Bruce Arians represents the first head coach Tom Brady has every had who is an offense-first kind of guy in focus and background.

This wasn’t the Bucs signing Brady with Lovie Smith saying to himself, ‘Great, Tom’s got the offense. I’ll focus on the figuring out how to stop a slant pass.’

After today’s scrimmage, Joe asked Brady to address Bucs fans about how he feels about the makeup of the roster and staff, and the team’s prospects to break a 12-season playoff drought.

That answer brought forth a lot of passion from Brady, who quickly turned his focus to Arians and actually pounded on the table he was sitting at four times.

“B.A. has been stressing us, stressing our communication, our fundamentals. He’s a very detailed coach. He wants things done the exact way they’re supposed to be done. There’s a perfectionist about him that everybody respects,” Brady said.

“You know, we believe in him as our leader and, you know, we all want to go play well. And on offense, communication between Bryon and myself, and it filters down to all the different coaches and players in their position, you know, we gotta work hard at that communication. We gotta build trust with one another. So that that trust, we can anticipate. And good anticipation leads to great execution. And great execution over a game is gonna lead us to a great margin of error in terms of winning and losing. And then if you build on that, it leads to good month. That leads to a good two months; that leads to a good season. So, you know, I think you gotta focus on what the process is, and that’s a daily basis.

“Today was the most important day because it’s the only one we had. And it was in our stadium, pads, hitting, live contact. And some learning for us, and we gotta take it, understand what we did wrong, learn from it and then move on and put it behind us and go get back to work tomorrow and try to be better tomorrow.”

Those four table-pounds came when Brady read this sentence. “And it was in our stadium, pads, hitting, live contact.”

Brady is fired up, and he clearly respects his head coach.

Reminds the “real” fans of how Brady learned from belicheat of how to talk up bad and inferior teams!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice of the old cheating goat to throw stale biscuit a bone during a press conference!!!!!!!!!!

And ole stale biscuit is sticking with his best chance of instead of being able to actually coach up or develop a qb that he goes out and BUYS the best qb on the market as head coach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t even know why this guy (the fakeous realisto) is a fan….if the team is so messed up; why doesn’t he leaves and go cheer for the Saints….OMG!!…what a jerk!

lama, plain and simple he’s a troll. And not a very smart one. Don’t let the ironic “go Bucs!” fool you. He’s no fan.

Interesting. Has anyone seen Realist and Joe at the same time, or is Realist a figment of Joe’s imagination. Hmmm.

I think you guys are on to something. I mean think about it, you have two Joe’s and an ira. And they’re on this site everyday for hours a day. Reading all the content reading all the comments… Do you have any idea how hard it must be for them to sit on the sidelines and not react to respond or show their deepest inner feelings? For years? Only get to play moderator? What are the chances that there is NOT a Joe pseudonym writer in the comment section?

Or… Even more mind-bending… What if 95% of the commenters are all Joe bots!

I’m pumped to see this team succeed and get to the Superbowl….. At home! TB12 knows this has never happened in NFL history and would love nothing more to add that feather to his hat along with all the other feathers he’s collected. As a Patriot fan it sucks. We got Cam but Bill keeps his status as the #1 and starter secretive. It’s driving us nuts up here. Thankfully Tampa Bay has a couple of our primo players to add to an already primo team. This is gonna be exciting to watch. Go Bucs!

Cool story and I can’t wait for the season to start already!
