Bucs Open 30 Minutes Of Camp To Media
August 4th, 2020Joe gets a lot of questions about what’s going on at One Buc Palace.
The answer is simple: not much.
While players have reported, they’re strictly engaged in no-uniforms conditioning sessions and meetings. Plus, One Buc Palace has 22,321 restrictions thanks to The Sickness, which includes media locked out of nearly all the fun.
At 7:30 a.m. today, the Bucs gave media a 30-minute, on-field look at the action. Players were a strong distance away as media was well distanced from each other and operating under a strict mask policy.
Pre-approved media that had gone through multiple virus tests at One Buc Palace were allowed in a trailer that serves as a work room for the chosen 10 folks allowed access. The A-list JoeBucsFan.com photographer grabbed a desk there and uploaded the photo above.
Joe thought it was rather cool that Tom Brady came to a conditioning session wearing his forearm play sheet. Below is LeSean McCoy with Ronald Jones.

Where did all the “there’s not going be a season” posters run off to?

Good to see Shady out there with the boys! Maybe he can show Rojo how to catch and run with the ball! I hope we get to see more today from the media access! Real games are almost here!

Buc1987,
I think there will be a season but I do not think every team will play 16 games during the regular season.

Buc1987 they are hiding in their closets remaining vigilant about the Chinese virus and Tropical Storm Isaias.

If LeSean McCoy has to show RoJo anything then RoJo is a BUST. RoJo is in his third year already. No one had to show McCoy anything in his 3rd year.

I think James is right on RoJo. Did average 10 YAC. Both catches.

Not every rb comes into the league ready to play at a high level. Backs from many small schools come in after starting for 3 to 4 years and those from larger programs that start for only 2 years do so after redshirting and sitting behind other established starters. These backs generally come into the league at the age of 23 like Vaughn! RoJo came into the NFL as a 20 year old. He got terrible advice to turn pro when he did as he both physically and mentally was not ready to be an NFL back. At 23 years of age, he finally looks like he has an NFL body like other rookies JK Dobbins and Jamar Taylor. I expect RoJo to have a breakout year and be the starter and hit 1200 yds rushing with 10 tds

This is BS. You want these guys to strap up in 40 days and they’re not even in pads. IS THE DEFENSE DOING ANYTHING AT ALL, JOE?!!! I seriously haven’t heard about any defensive work outs except maybe lifting weights. If you’re going to cancel the season do it now cus this sucks.
August 4th, 2020 at 11:12 am
Everybody needs to be playing with the forearm play sheet at this point.
August 4th, 2020 at 11:25 am
“One Buc Palace has 22,321 restrictions thanks to The Sickness.” That is total BS! There is not ONE restriction more than 22,225. What a wild exaggeration!
Great stuff from camp…good we have at least some window, even it’s not much. Keep it coming, Joe!

Tom, why is it year in and year out Bucs fans keep telling themselves this same story over and over again with our players? We just did this for five years with Jay-Miss. We see many other running backs with similar situations drafted later that make an impact right away.
Every 2nd round pick has the expectation to come into the NFL ready to play at a high level. The “not being ready” excuse is fine for a 4th rounder. Second round picks are first round talents that fell. In other words, they should be players that make an immediate impact right away. Right now RoJo really hasn’t done anything to show he’s a guy that can stick.

With all of these precautions and mitigation efforts…if they don’t finish the season I’ll start getting really scared.
I can’t believe that virtually ALL the players will not shelter in place when they’re not at OBP. They and their families will be acutely aware of the danger outside of their “tested” environment.
Given all of this…if that doesn’t work…what will?

The NFL season will be fine after November 3rd.
