Are the Bucs feeling Tom Brady’s impact already?
Would it extend in early June to a backup defensive tackle?
It seems the answer is a resounding, Yes!
Soak in the roughly 90-second video below from WFLA-TV shot at a gym in Tampa. Gabrielle Shirley caught up to Rakeem Nuñez-Roches, who is in his third year on the Bucs’ defensive line after three years with Andy Reid and the Chiefs. So he’s seen his share of NFL locker rooms.
Nuñez-Roches explains that Tom Brady on the roster now means “it’s a whole change of mindset.”
Those are very powerful words considering Bucco Bruce Arians arrived last year with a seasoned staff and high expectations.
Those expectations have been kicked up, Nuñez-Roches added, noting he and his teammates’ games have to rise along with them.

Looks like a pretty good workout to me…..let’s hope all Bucs are staying in good shape….that is one worry……injuries in TC because of inconsistent training.

The lack of on the field leadership is why this team has been in a decade long downward spiral. With JPP, Suh and David on defense we needed solid leadership on offense. The organization went out and brought in two of the best available Brady & Gronk. Are they in their prime? No but they are two salty field generals who do not except losing in any way shape or form.

Tired of hearing this….Why didn’t these guys all have the proper mindset before TB? Was it all the fault of Jameis? These guys can’t think for themselves? Did the posers hall of fame coach self proclaimed whisperer not whisper sweet nothings in their ears? Are they not professionals?

Cord- That would be a great point if Jameis had thrown 30 interceptions or even close to that his first 4 seasons. But that’s not the case. Jameis regardless of who he plays for just do to his aggressive style is going to throw around 15 Ints a season. Just like he did with the Bucs the first 4 seasons. In return you will get a Qb who finished top 5 in yards and points scored.

I am not saying the man is a headcase. But that is what a headcase would say to be a self proclaimed “one of the greatest of all time”. Does our new QB Tom Brady say that? Did you ever hear Brees say that? No not at all. This backup who lost his job is now the self proclaiming himself to be one of the best.

In the beginning there were hopeful dreams and old men who loved football. Then there was an orange football team named the Buccaneers, in Tampa no doubt.
Through heatwaves and thunderstorms, these old men would watch those
curious Orangemen. No offense to be found but a defense with huge pride is what these old men received for years coming close once but damn the Rams.
Then years of worthless play from the Orangemen built a tradition of
“losing properly” to the old men who watched and paid money for it too.
Why, a Buccaneer appearance on a team schedule was almost a guaranteed win.
The old men became accustomed to the losing life and fell in love with a perennial loser year in and year out.
Then one day, everything changed. The Orangemen became very mean on defense and won a Super bowl ripping apart almost every team seen.
Then the old men died and the curse returned for almost 20 years.
Now, we have this team. The old men would have been proud.
The team spirit is up sky high and the expectations are massive. Be good to your Bucs. This may take a minute to perfect. GO BUCS!!!!

Jameis has some serious issues to resolve, but got kicked to the curb in spite of leading the league in passing. Obviously, he is one of the best in certain categories. Constant constant finger pointing-
Guess what, much of the team has sucked for years. Not all jWs fault

“He had three different coaches to learn from” Only Dirk used a different game plan than the other two.
All three coaches used a vanilla watered down offense so that Jameass’s limited knowledge could digest.
The Bucs couldn’t even bring in competition for winsnone because he couldn’t handle it.
Here is another one, “Jameass is a real leader but isn’t getting the respect he deserves”. That is a joke. That jackass showed his ass constantly, doing some of the STUPIDEST things ever. Stealing crab legs, dancing on desks,
getting in people’s faces, blaming them for mistakes then going out and throwing the game away himself. Not even respecting his own wife getting caught fondling a Uber driver. Those nasty foul looking W’s he would eat on his fingers.

I meant Arians not dirk in my last comment. Arians used a different offense than the rest but it still was watered down so that Jameass could somewhat handle it. Eh he doesn’t even deserve anymore words. Go Bucs!!!!

Jameis had Dirk for 4 years and Arians for one year. you guys act like he had to learn a brand new system every year when he only really had to do that Twice his rookie year and last year.

The thought process for some of the posts about Winsnone are so confusing they make no sense. It is as if the people are wearing blinders.
If you folks remember my nephew little Kacey went to the 2019 draft and stood at the podium and selected Devin White. He has since passed away RIP!. He received a contract from the Buccaneers to join the team. Well I read the contract these players sign. I put Jameass in place and read the fine print. They expect you to conduct yourself cleanly while in the NFL and a member of the Buccaneers.
Jameass did not live up to his contract in that regard.
Sure he threw for thousands of yards He loses in style.
He is a true “Paper Champion” in every sense of the word.

“Scapegoating” eh?! That’s an interesting perspective given the facts actually point to the sole proprietor of the most TOs in the league over the same 5 year tenure. Yep, that’s BA’s fault. SMH!
I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to accept that Jameis just was not the guy….but, but, “potential”!
The one thing we forget about BA coming to the Bucs is that the culture here needed change. While it may not have translated to the scoreboard last year, you can start to see the subtle changes in personnel and expectations. Changing the culture is probably the single-most difficult task BA faces. IMO.
