Brady Joins His Teammates On The Field

UPDATED 2:15 p.m. – Coach’em up, Tommy!
The Tampa Bay Times reported that Mike Evans, Scotty Miller, Cameron Brate, Dare Ogunbowale, O.J. Howard, Blaine Gabbert, Ryan Griffin and Ryan Jensen joined Tom Brady for a two-hour session at 7 a.m. this morning on a field at Berkeley Prep. The private school is in the Town & Country area of Tampa.
The folks at NESN (New England Sports Network) got photos and put together a report in the video below:
Brady passes gas and the Boston media is all over it, it seems. Joe wonders whether that will change once the sports world turns on again and Boston fans have other things to care about.

Hopefully they are willing to absorb all they can learn from one another so that it will translate on the field this season..
Tom can learn from them which of Arians plays/routes each of them like most and get reps in to establish chemistry!

Love seeing O.J. out there in particular. Think he was angling to get traded and frankly between that and being a bit soft on the field I think a lot of us would’ve been ok if he got traded, but in the spirit of fairness – I say good on him for getting his head screwed on right and putting in work with the goat. He does have all-world potential and hopefully he can realize it. Between gronk and O.J. running right up the seams – I do not see how this offense can be stopped. SOMEONE is going to be open, always

Joe … I know details are skimpy at this point, but was there any indication if it was ‘By Invitation Only’? The makeup of that group seems a bit odd (3 QBs? 5 receivers? 1 Ctr?). Also wondering if this is the first time they’ve done this or have they gotten together before this.

This team was super game with Jameis. Now it’s unwatchable. Probably literally after they cancel the season tickets. Hopefully the NFL will blackout all Bucs games and force the Glazers to sell the team. New owners, new GM, and Jameis back is what is good for Tampa. Not to be a nitpicker LOL. But not ALL of them. I doubt Brady makes it to the 30-30 club. 30TD’s sure…but at no point in Brady’s career has he tossed 30 ints.
He hasn’t even tossed half that many in a season. He did have 30 picks combined over the last FIVE years. He had nine seasons with single digit ints.

I’m not sure why we think the league is out to get Brady.
In years past I hated Brady because I always felt the officials overprotected him and he played touch football in a tackle league. That’s hyperbole but he and the Pats never got jobbed by the refs.
Get used to it guys. It’s a new day in Tampa Bay and we are going to start getting some calls we’ve never received before. At last we won’t have to beat the Zebras and the opposing team.
Hated that when I was rooting against the PATS…but now I love it.
I can’t wait to see Ryan Jensen’s reaction the first time a defender even thinks about taking liberties with TB12. He’ll be protected.
It’s Gronks noggin that worries me after all those concussions,

There is no guarantee that Gronk will be one of the 53 when the Bucs take on the Saints. He could decide that he’s just not willing/able to put his body through the whole ‘football’ thing again. Or he could suffer some type of injury from not being in football shape for so long. Even if he doesn’t make the team, he will have an impact while he’s there.

@Dan considering that basements in homes in the Tampa Bay Area are rare because of the soil composition, my mother would have to be mighty rich and id be living in a place that could flood. But I know we have older fans that just want to win now . And even though I think we should have kept Jamies because when I look back at his career he had a lot of good games with no running game so I feel you bro . But I’m a bucs fan and I hope it works out . Me I’m more about long-term success than short term . I’ve heard some great comments this week, as always. I heard that Ke’Shawn Vaughn is way too slow at 4.51, although that’s faster than 4 of the top 10 rushing leaders in the NFL…The “yawn” comment has that beat, though. I doubt anyone can top that for weakness.
