Tom Brady Talks “Authenticity”

So why did Tom Brady choose the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
He offered a couple of reasons today, and answered a question posed by Howard Stern about what it was like to have the Bucs fawn over him in free agency.
Stern said to Brady, “They must have sucked your d&*% to get you to go to Tampa.” Brady laughed and said, “It felt good” before continuing the rest of the answer.
(Funny how Brady never mentioned selling himself to the Bucs as the story was told by some mainstream news outlets),
Brady was clear that Chris Godwin and Mike Evans were a big part of his signing with the Bucs, as was coaching.
“I like him a lot,” Brady said of Bucco Bruce Arians. “He’s part of the reason I chose here … Coaching obviously was important, hugely important…. [Arians] has a different way about him but it’s authentic to him.”
Brady went to say authenticity is critical and he likes what he’s heard from Arians and of Arians’ reputation, adding he looks forward to getting to know him.

It’s nice to see Tom having fun with this move and keeping it all positive.
It’s a good break from the doom in gloom that dominates the news.

Robert, we know how you feel about JW, but considering that his act directly has to do with helping recover from this disaster…. now probably was not the time.

Hope Brady and his family are in Tampa right now adjusting to the seasonal atmosphere. Dry freezing whether is different from humid really hot weather. Certainly wouldn’t want to in Manhattan right now.

Robert, I am pretty sure the reason that the “other 32 teams” have not signed him is because he throws too many d@mn interceptions. — I doubt that it is because he is charitable.

off the field criminal issues, suspensions, inability from learn from his mistakes………….and interceptions. it’s bigger than just the pic’s.
it’s stupidity. and any team can see right through what some might consider charitable when we all know it’s damage control for his horrible reputation.
your right about one thing. nothing can fix those picks and that is enough in and of itself considering he’s had 5 years already.

@Robert While I do agree with you that Winston should go somewhere else, I applaud any well off Athlete that contributes to or tries to help those less fortunate than he is. Jameis was a spoiled kid Athlete coming out of college and he has never lived up the the #1 pick billing. But he is gone from the team now and he should be applauded if he is trying to help people.

Robert shut up I’m so tired of people that love to keep bringing up stuff that happened years ago . Talk about big Ben , Payton Manning who had issues with women as well they just swept it under the rug . Jamies is a millionaire rather you like it or not . He has made a lot of money and Jamies is not the high profile life type of person . Jamies is a dangerous quarterback right now and they know it . They know he’s better than the quarterbacks in Chicago and Jacksonville . It’s a narrative against Jamies that they are pushing. Sam Bradford was trash and they didn’t talk bad about him or Blake Borttles . The national media never liked Jamies and they been trying to push him out . They make excuses for other quarterback about their team being bad but for others they don’t . And that’s the way it is watch if Wentz struggles it’s going to be the team fault not his . Name me 1 quarterback that this team developed and I will wait ????? Lol lol lol
