[UPDATE: 4:18 p.m.] Joe is getting this question a lot today: When is Tom Brady’s presser. Well, we don’t know and technically, he isn’t (yet) a Bucs quarterback.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the NFL has shut down NFL facilities. Players cannot fly in to take physicals. And until a player takes a physical, no deal is official.
Only the Bears have figured out a way around this (so far).
So if the Bucs come to an agreement with a free agent, you may not see it in a timely manner unless the player takes to social media, or the Bucs’ social media team gets creative like the Bears.

All of the dates going forward are subject to being moved back…..I do think they will hold the draft…..but anything requiring meetings or activities involving multiple players/coaches will be subject to change,

Brady’s QBR and completion percentage has been in decline for quite a few years. He is not mobile at all and cant throw a deep ball anymore at age 43. Everything Arians offonse is built for Brady cannot and doesnot have the ability to do

If he can turn OJ into the TE we believed he would be Brady could have THREE Pro Bowl targets!!! And if they keep Brate…the weapons are piling up.

Can’t believe all the naysayers on this board.
It is true that Brady won’t be here three or four years from now. He will be retired, as will Arians. But no reason to believe he will be anything other than he has been the last few years, and really, there was no reason to believe that Jameis would be anything other than he has been for so many years. At least that is what Bruce thought.
I still would love to see a Arians approved young QB to groom for promotion in a few years to the starting position, learning from the best for a year or two.

Believe me dude! I’m stoked! Brady is a winner, plain and simple. There’s no reason why we shouldn’t expect playoffs this upcoming season. Need to get a tackle or two, maybe veteran secondary, sign Suh, sign Gordon or Freeman for cheap, draft QB to learn from the master…SUPER BOWLs!!

Profootballtalk.com reporting Beau Allen signing withe Pats at $8M for 2 years. Time for the Bucs to move on from him because he wasn’t worth the money. Re-sign Suh and draft a DT in the 2nd rd this year. Then draft another DT next year (or FA).

I mentioned team physicals would be an issue weeks ago. That’s why I felt they needed to push back free agency…but I’m glad they didn’t.
Their solution to the team physicals is horrible. I don’t see why teams can’t fly players in on a private plane, use the team facility just for the team physicals with minimal staff.

• In some cases, physicals were done on released players before the NFL put the rules in place
• GMs can ask a former team for the exit physical report, if it was done before the rules were implemented
• Teams can pay for a private physician or a hospital physical
• The team physician can complete a physical in a neutral location IF the player is located in the same town as the team
Even if they manage to deal with the issue of the physicals, there is the risk that without off season team activities, a player could somehow be injured and the teams would still have to pay them.
