“What In His Body Of Work Says It’s Trending In The Right Direction”
February 16th, 2020Former Jets and Browns head coach Eric Mangini, who was once Bill Belicheat’s prized protégé, thinks there may be a reason to fire everyone with any power within the Buccaneers’ organization.
The whole notion that Jameis Winston’s alarming interceptions total partly was caused by him needing his vision corrected is mind-blowing to Mangini, as he explained Friday on FS1. Mangini just can’t stomach that thought, and hopes it’s not true.
If it is, per Mangini, everyone in charge of Tampa Bay needs to be shown the door because it would reveal gross incompetence.
As for Jameis the football player, Mangini doesn’t think he’s a fit with the Bucs. “What in his body of work says it’s trending in the right direction?” Mangini asked.
That’s a good question.
Mangini sees Jameis as a Ryan Fitzpatrick type, he said, saying at this point in his career, Jameis is ideal for “that Miami-esque rebuilding situation” because he can entertain and manage an offense.

Well these is one thing: he can now see the drunk fat white girl all the way across the bar now…since eye surgery.
February 16th, 2020 at 8:32 am
He can also now see the security cameras much better at Publix when shoplifting
February 16th, 2020 at 8:37 am
When your 1st round QB gets to his second contract, there should be no debate on whether to sign him. If there is, he’s not the guy. He hasn’t changed a bit in five years. His first throw as a Buc was a pick six. Five years later his last throw as a Buc was a pick six. Where do you see the improvement in five years? Rivers will be an improvement next year, and the Bucs draft Eason.
February 16th, 2020 at 8:40 am
There is a reason that it was no drop off in 2018 when Fitz almost played half the year, and in fact, one could argue that Fitz played all the tougher match ups and better teams!!!!!!!!!! And what did we get in 2018????? Just more passing yards and more passing TD’s in 2018 then just a full year of blameless in 2019!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the eye correction is just as big of a debacle as the whole licht weight background check before drafting Winston, only to have the same incident less than a year later!!!!!!!!!!! There were so many commentators in JBF asking for eye test before jay-miss before the bucs drafted that clown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No contacts???????? No eye test????????????
One Buc is in shambles , and the sheep and joe want to see another year of this?????????
And saying jay-miss is exciting is the same as saying a running back is exciting, because he will either gain 5 yards or lose 5 yards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And why, when national analyst, are saying that blameless is exciting, they are always laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s been time e for some serious spring cleaning at One Buc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
go bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

February 16th, 2020 at 8:50 am
Completely agree……Winston is a clone of Fitzpatrick. Flashes of brilliance but then a steady diet of turnovers that bury your chances. He’ll start somewhere in the league, with an insane running game and defense he might even reach the playoffs but he’s not going to be “the guy”. I’d also compare him to Cutler as far as arm talent goes. He can hit some passes most wont even attempt but that same bravado is what leads to turnovers that ultimately lead to losing.
February 16th, 2020 at 8:51 am
The bottom line record doesn’t lie. Winston has given the bucs a losing record for 5 straight years. You can say “5000 yards”, “bad eyesight that was corrected”, or any other excuse that you may want to use in your defense of Winston. His losing record for 5 straight years cannot be changed.

The happiest day in my life will be when jameis hoists his first of 3 Lombardi’s well on his way to passing the laughable washed up has beens and thier pathetic 5 career playoff wins and 1 fluke championship…. brain dead bucfan is like a coma victim that wakes up and can only remember 2002 … the fluke championship earases the other 41 years of pure failure in low standard bucfans narrow mind.
Remember ladies Lombardi’s expire week 1 of the next season Lombardi’s are NOT lifetime free passes for failure nor does one fluke championship turn mediocre players into legends…. only buc legends are sapp and selmon the rest just popular backups that bucfan confuses popularity with greatness
February 16th, 2020 at 9:16 am
To answer the question: thrown for 5k yards and 33 tds in a new offense!!!! Damn, how slow people can be, my goodness!!!! Stop being sheep and following a hot take just because its different! I remember when he couldn’t put it in the endzone in the red zone. In 2019, he’s one of the BEST in the NFL at doing so and that doesn’t scream he’s going in the right direction? Give me a freakin break!!!!
February 16th, 2020 at 9:24 am
“What in his body of work says it’s trending in the right direction?” Mangini asked.
• Jameis has steadily improved his yardage since drafted, except for the year he was suspended.
• In 2019, Jameis became one of few QBs to reach 5,000 yards.
• In 2019, Jameis greatly improved his deep passing numbers.
• In 2019, Jameis became one of the best in redzone scoring.
• In 2019, Jameis’ points scored average jumped by a big margin.

But Bonzai that doesn’t matter because he didn’t stop the Seahawks, Giants, and Saints from scoring at will or make any important kicks all season. Don’t you know by now that football is a one man sport?

Formerly Tampa 2 Says
“The bottom line record doesn’t lie. Winston has given the bucs a losing record for 5 straight years. ”
That is totally wrong. For example, in 2018, Jameis led the team from behind to retake the lead in 4 games in the final minutes, only to have the defense lose the game. That same year, our kicker lost 2 games for us. That means 6 games were lost by defense and the kicker that year. 6+5=11 wins.
And the same thing happened two years in a row. We also had a 9-7 season mixed in there, so that would have been 3 of 5 winning seasons.
February 16th, 2020 at 9:41 am
A Franchise points record. Duh
February 16th, 2020 at 9:45 am
Your not one of the best when you throw a league high 30 picks and set a record fire pick 6’s. Throwing for over 5,000 years and 33 touchdowns is impressive but not that 7-9 record. If you’re impressed with yardage stats play madden real fans want playoffs and wins. It’s dumb wanting to keep a guy because he threw for a bunch of yards when winning is the ultimate goal and if not for the defense we wouldn’t have been 7-9 Winston would have given away even more games.
BA doesnt care who his quarterback is as long as the defense stays together, I guess the blind think he’s saying for leverage lol.
February 16th, 2020 at 9:52 am
Pewter power
BA doesn’t care about anything but setting his friends and family up for retirement the same business model that bad character lovie Smith used on glazers and bucfan….. glazers have the highest rated retirement program in sports. No expectations… No fanbase to speak of… Small Market no media that matters nationally…. No Stress…. and most importantly no historical success to compete against outside of the fluke championship season. its the perfect retirement environment with above average pay….
February 16th, 2020 at 9:57 am
I’m glad someone else is calling B.S. on that vision nonsense.
The simple fact remains that Jameis Winston is who his five-year career says he is. We either live with that, in the hopes that our defense can overcome the mistakes, OR, we move on.
Can the Bucs trust Jameis? Should they even have to ask the question?
Just food for thought.
February 16th, 2020 at 10:02 am
Bucsfanman
There is a lot of BS at one buc circus headquarters. It would be easier on fans if glazers just came clean about not trying to be competitive. You can’t be this bad for this long without trying to be this bad
February 16th, 2020 at 10:10 am
I gotta agree with Mangini, as incompetent as he appears.
The whole vision correction thing is a smokescreen. JayMiss is and always was a human bucket machine just flinging footballs Willy nilly.
In fact, I think the Ryan Fitzpatrick analogy is perfect. JayMiss is a talented thrower capable of stringing together highlight reel performances like the consecutive 400+ yard performances from this season.
But, like Fitz, he’s capable of multiple, horrific, INT games. More often than not.
Nope, you can’t win consistently with JayMiss. He’ll always find a way to meltdown.
Just like Ryan Fitzpatrick; the consummate journeyman.
He’ll play for a lot of teams and make a lot of money, but never win regularly.
Peace, out

tmax- Leadership starts at the top. On this, you and I couldn’t agree more. Top down, it has been an ish-show!

Just as an aside, lasik is not a color-correction procedure! So, does it really excuse the balls to different jerseys?! Um, no.
At least Vinny Testaverde’s excuse made sense.

YOUR SUNDAY PSA FOR THE ONES WHO FORGOT:
1. Niners game. Lost 31-17. Points off Winston t/o: 15
2. Panthers game. Lost 37-26. points off of Winston t/o: 16
3. Titans game. Lost 27-23. Points off of Winston t/o: 14
4. Saints game. Lost 34-17. Points off of Winston t/o: 14. Also had an int at the saints 1 yard line. Should’ve scored td. That’s actually 21 points lost.
5. Colts game. Won 38-35. Points off of Winston turnovers: 14
6. Texans game. Lost 23-20. Points off of Winston turnovers: 10 points. Also int on a game winning drive with 1:31 to go.
7. Falcons game. Lost 28-22. Points off of Winston turnovers: 13 points. Pick 6 to end that game and perhaps his Buccaneers career.
10 games with multiple ints. Yes, I’ll be the first to admit the defense isn’t perfect or fixed but if you think the above isn’t a problem, then I feel bad for ya.
REMEMBER PPL, 121 POINTS SCORED BY THE OPPONENTS OFF OF WINSTON TURNOVERS!!!!
45 TOTAL INTS BY 4 OTHER QBS WHO THREW OVER 600 PASSES EACH LAST SEASON. 45 INTS COMBINED BETWEEN THE 4 OF THEM!!!!
WINSTON: 626 THROWS, 30 INTS
4 OTHER QBS: OVER 2400 PASSES, 45 INTS
DONT FAKE THE FUNK!!!!
I’m not math guy but 6 games lost due to Winston turnovers which lead to points for the other team. I tossed in the colts game which was a win since a certain poster ALWAYS brings up that game.
Again, I’m not math guy but 3 losses due to the kicker/defense and 6 games lost by our kicker… does that make us 7-9?… what was the record in 2019 again???
Numbers, funny how they add up!
February 16th, 2020 at 10:27 am
Mangini…the same fella who “turned state’s evidence” on the guy who made his entire career possible? Cool…
February 16th, 2020 at 10:54 am
They may keep him but it want e by their choice.. it will be because they have no other choice.. that usually does not end well…
Arians will be short with him and the 1st multiple turnover game which JW always has, HC will bench him for good… Why even put your team into that situation… JW will likely get benched by game 4-5…
February 16th, 2020 at 11:03 am
Bucsfan951 is the Joy Behar of JBF.
Triggered by every Winston article and spreading FAKE NEWS.
Example: Titans game first fumble. Winston is setting the protections and not looking for the snap but Marpet (while looking back at Winston) and Jensen decide to snap the ball anyway. The ball hits Winston’s facemark and is recovered by the Titans.
Winston Derangement Syndrome Bucs fans like 951 blame Winston.
February 16th, 2020 at 11:13 am
How is it fake news? That fumble goes against Winston. And 1 example makes all of the other numbers fake? Funny how 3 loses by kickers/defense and the 6 loses by Winston turnovers amount to a 7-9 record… the same record the Bucs had. Funny how 121 points scored by opponents came off of wisnton turnovers. Funny how other qbs threw over 2400 times and had 45 ints. Funny how all of that is overlooked. You call it fake news. I call in stating a fact and backing it up with factual numbers.
Numbers don’t lie, my friend. ITS NOT FAKE NEWS!!! It’s fact! Just because the numbers don’t go in your favor doesn’t make it fake news.
Fake news, used when it goes against your opinion or you don’t agree with something that was said and used by mentally weak individuals. Have a great Sunday, Mr Postman
February 16th, 2020 at 11:16 am
By the way I yet again disproved 951 BS post again yesterday but again let’s not flat out ignoring the FACTS get in the way of a good hate fest.
BTW 951 your game is weak bro you got nothing but the same garbage over and over, which I keep debunking. Either get something real or new or go night night little guy
February 16th, 2020 at 11:27 am
“Disproved”? How can numbers be false? They’re factual numbers. I didn’t make them up. I didn’t use “fake news” to come up with these numbers. They’re hard core factual numbers.
And if you “disproved me yesterday in a post” I obviously didn’t see as I would’ve commented back since I love debating you. See, debating. It’s a grown up thing grown ups do. Not name calling.
So go ahead and copy and paste your reply from yesterday so I can see it and comment on it.
Again, I’m using factual numbers anyone can look up. I’m not making up “fake news” as the mentally weak like to use.
February 16th, 2020 at 11:28 am
Jameis finished his fifth unsuccessful NFL season
28-41
111 turnovers in 5 years
22 a year
Added some really meaningless impressive stats to his resume full of meaningless stats.
Jameis will be back and the Bucs will regret it as another wasted year will be added to the leger of the lost decade because the NFL is full of those who believe they are the smartest people in the room. (Ndog types)
February 16th, 2020 at 11:28 am
It would be easier on fans if glazers just came clean about not trying to be competitive. You can’t be this bad for this long without trying to be this bad
Some of y’all have serious issues. Not trying to be competitive? The whole point of the article was that winston is the one guy directly related to losses with his interceptions at a record setting pace. If it wasnt on him this franchise would already know what they were going to do with him.
February 16th, 2020 at 11:29 am
Look at the bright side – at his current rate Winston could end up being the NFL’s all time leader in Interceptions, Turnovers, Pick 6’s and Getting Coaches Fired.
Now there is a body of work for you
February 16th, 2020 at 11:30 am
Geez what happened to ppl today? Fake news, triggered, derangement syndrome… next y’all are gonna call me a “boomer” What ever happened to a good ol debate amounts men?
February 16th, 2020 at 11:37 am
Ive said it before and I’ll say it again. As someone who had bad vision until my late teens when I started wearing contacts… You don’t see as much detail but you still don’t have any issue seeing the position of objects, their distance, or their speed. I made plenty of good, deep throws with bad eyes and Jameis has too. Heck… It’s the easy ones he sails high that sometimes naked you scratch your head. His intermediate throws are his best. He actually had some nice deep balls last year. As someone who wears contacts even swimming, i can tell you that if it was that bad he would have worn them. They’re really not that bad . Usually can’t tell that they’re in. The off chance it somehow comes out while on the field? So what?
February 16th, 2020 at 11:45 am
951 it’s called context in numbers, look it up.
February 16th, 2020 at 11:54 am
Pete I do understand how ridiculous you sound talking about team performance when judging one player? So until Michael Jordan got around component players he was a loser? Cause Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl he is inferior to Brad Johnson? Was the washed up ready to retire Peyton Manning that won a Super Bowl cause of the defense better than the Peyton Manning that could not win one with a one dimensional Colts team all those years?
Bro there are countless examples of why you are talking about a player based upon team success or lack thereof is ridiculous.
February 16th, 2020 at 11:59 am
Ndog
The issue with your argument is none of the players you mentioned were always unquestioned leaders and franchise players, winston cant even lock that down because of his off field decision making but once try
February 16th, 2020 at 12:08 pm
Pewter dude what are you talking about with off field decision making? Bro that was 5 years ago get over it. Had he spent a day in jail? No! Has he been charged with a crime? No! You people are just looking for reasons to not want him around.
Guess what you are wrong again cause Manning got accused of tea bagging a trainer in college and Jordan got accused of having major gambling issues. So yes they had issues as well but people liked them and MORE IMPORTANTLY ESPN didn’t drag their name through the mud to brainwash all the weak minded like they did Jameis. This is really simple you guys have simply fell for the narrative and are so weak minded or truly don’t love the game enough to look for the truth yourselves.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:16 pm
I’ll be the first to admit that I WANT Winston to do well. I don’t hate the guy. Yes, I am critical of him. Of course I am! I’m a fan. I’m critical of my team. Does Winston have a bunch of upside and do I see some hints of greatness? Hell yes I do. But I also see a lot of bonehead moves he makes that makes you scratch your head. I want nothing more than for Winston to become a top 5 qb. If he’s successful, the team is successful.
And yes, while this is a team sport and the kicking/defense didn’t help him out, he DID NOT help them out either. His turnovers put the defense in really bad spots. As I mentioned above, Winston turnovers did indeed lose the buccaneers some games. If you want to argue that, fine! But numbers don’t lie and the fact of the matter is, Winston turnovers (to me) lost the Bucs 6 games. I don’t care about 5k yards in passing and 33 tds, when you turn the back over as much as he did and throw 7! pick 6’s, that’s a clear cut recipe for disaster. If you disagree, you’re wrong! It’s not fake news, being a hater, troll, derangement syndrome, triggered or what ever else you call it.
ITS PURE FACTUAL INFORMATION AND NUMBERS. NOTHING MADE UP!!!
So let’s all come together and say “yes, Winston needs to get better on his turnovers and decision making. Yes, the defense needs to get better. Yes, the special teams needs to step up. Yes, we can get better on the o line. We need to get a better running game.” Yes, it is a team sport and EVERYONE on that team needs to step up and be better.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:28 pm
ndog bot hard at work already knob gobbling.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:33 pm
Same idiots out in full force I see
February 16th, 2020 at 12:34 pm
How bout these numbers 951 if it wasn’t for 5,000 plus passing yards and 33 TD passes how are we number 3 in the league in scoring? And without being #3 in the league in scoring how many games do we win last year?
We don’t win the Rams game, Cardinals game, Colts game for sure and probably a few other like Lions. And we aren’t even close in the Saints, Giants or Seahawks games but you just happened to leave that out of your FACTUAL INFORMATION don’t you.
And for the last time JUST CAUSE THE SCORE BOOK SAYS A TO IS ON PLAYER X DOES NOT MEAN IT IS THAT PLAYERS FAULT.
Snaps off a players face to early is not his fault, a ball thrown directly to a defender cause a WR runs a wrong route is not his fault, a perfectly thrown ball that bounces off a players hands to get picked is not his fault, a ball that is tipped or where the QBs arm is hit it is not his fault. So you can keep throwing up numbers but you know good and damn well they are not all in him yet you state you want him to succeed. Yeah sure ok bro, you want him to succeed, now you are wrong and lying.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:37 pm
Dude get off of Winston’s nuts. I dont really care that it happened and I’m not talking about getting rid of him for it….the bottom line is it happened and you are talking about mannining and issues that were coming out after his legacy was already cemented, he retired and got out of it all but winston is just starting and it’s no ones fault but his that hes made fun of for crab legs and eating W’s or ridiculed for rape allegations.
It’s all in the air and I dont care about anything except him losing games floor stupid interceptions. Stop sucking on the sack bro and realize that is part of his legacy. Dont try to make it seem like it’s why we judge him because in the end it’s about results on the field. Angry as hell like your his publicist.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:37 pm
All of the things you listed above, doesn’t that happen to all qbs or do those only apply to Winston? I mean, all qbs have receivers who tips a pass and it’s picked off, right? Those numbers go against them, right? I’m asking a serious question.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:42 pm
BucsFan951 … Good bottom line paragraph, but it needs an ending: ‘And why has it been the same story, year-in & year-out, for well over a decade now?’ It’s always SOMETHING is screwed up with the Bucs… offense, defense, S/Ts, whatever. We just don’t seem to be able to put it all together.
IMO it all gets back to mediocre management & coaching. TEAM-BUILDING seems to be a luxury around these parts. The biggest part being that we lack a true IDENTITY and so we just keep plugging holes. It’s negatively impacted our drafting AND our FA acquisitions. Bucs coaching staffs have been mediocre at best (as demonstrated by the coaching turnover?), and that’s impacted player development AND game planning/management.
I’m HOPEFUL that we’re now on the right track with Bruce Arians AND Todd Bowles. I’m all in favor of creating a BALANCED TEAM, but leaning more towards the strong defense side of the equation. 2020 will be a very critical year for the Bucs IMO … LOTS of major decisions to make that will impact us for many years.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:46 pm
Did all QBs play on the team with the most penalities in the league? (Which are mistakes just like wrong routes and missed blocking assignments. So if they penalities are the worst it stands to reason these other issues are pretty bad as well)
Did all QBs play in a new offense EVERYONE was learning?
Did all QBs have their #1, #2 and #4 go down all at the same time?
Did all QBs play with a broken thumb and 7 games with a torn meniscus?
Did all QBs have to deal with their kicker blowing two games with basic college level kicks?
Did all QBs deal with a on pace all time worst defense for half the year?
ALL AT THE SAME TIME!?!?!???!?!
Show us another QB that dealt with that then I’ll shut up till then the answer is no that doesn’t happen to all QBs
February 16th, 2020 at 12:50 pm
Oh yes, the rams game. Where Winston had a pick 6 and the defense scored a td. Yes, of course the defense was weak in that game. There’s no denying that.
The colts game. Oh yes, another pick 6 by Winston and 3 turnovers total by him. Yes, I remember that game.
The cards game. Again, yes I remember that game. The defense got the stop when they needed to.
Yes, the defense was weak in those games. But the defense also gave the Bucs a chance to win in the niners, Houston, and I don’t care what YOU say about the last falcons game, that game too!
The first saints game was a shoot out. Winston with 200 yards passing and went 15-27. Not the most ideal numbers.
Or the London game with 5! ints. You won’t win games giving the other team the ball 5 times.
Or the titans game which the defense kept it close, once again.
Every game you trash on the defense and kickers, Winston has done the same amount of damage in other games.
This is why ppl can’t take you serious. You trash two position groups on the team but 1 single player did just as much damage (you can argue more) and you let it slide.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:52 pm
ndog crying like a little girl again. Dude, you probably have no friends at all.
February 16th, 2020 at 12:57 pm
951 why did you just leave out the Giants and Seahawks games?
Plus do you think I give two craps about what people like you who clearly have no idea what you are talking about think about me? That is laughable bro. I forgot more than football than you will ever know.
February 16th, 2020 at 1:00 pm
1. Most penalized team, they sure were. Care to look up who was the most penalized qb last yr? You guessed it, it was Winston.
2.yes, the qb played in a new offense. No fighting that. But didn’t the Bucs defense play in a new defensive scheme as well? And with a bunch of rookies, no doubt!
3. I can’t recall other qbs having their receivers go down but how many games was wisnton without Evans and Godwin put together?
4. If the broken thumb and torn meniscus was that bad, why did they clear him to play? And a serious question, was the meniscus on the injury report during the season? I don’t recall either way 🤷🏻♂️
5.here we go with the missed kicks again. Yes, the kicker misses crucial kicks.
6. Again, you used the excuse of learning a new scheme so I’m gonna use that same excuse. The defense was learning a new defensive scheme and started some rookies and second yr players in the secondary.
Did I answer every single one of your questions?
February 16th, 2020 at 1:04 pm
Giants game: offense did great the first half. What separates the average qbs from the great ones is closing out a game. I bet you if a great qb had thrown that last deep ball to Evans at the end, he would have led him out more and would’ve scored the td. Go back and check film. Evans had the step and then had to slow up for the ball. THATS the difference from a good qb to a great qb.
The hawks game, it was an old fashioned shoot out. Great game by both teams. Hawks got the ball and scored off the opening drive in OT. ITS RUSSELL EFFING WILSON. HE is a great qb.
February 16th, 2020 at 1:05 pm
I forgot more than football than you will ever know.
Ok 👍🏽
February 16th, 2020 at 1:07 pm
I wrote up a whole thing on the giants and hawks gameA but used a word I guess that wasn’t allowed to be used and the entire thing got deleted. I’m not retyping it up again.
February 16th, 2020 at 1:07 pm
Ndog … Put yourself in the Bucs’ management position for a second. They have ONE QB under contract … Ryan Griffin. They have a bunch of their own UFAs to hopefully sign, to include Jameis. And oh ya, salary Cap IS an issue (despite what some say).
If our 2019 season had ended with 2 wins, I have no doubts that the Bucs would re-sign Jameis to at least a medium term contract. But after throwing SIX INTs in those last 2 games (including TWO Pick-6s), that undoubtedly has Bucs’ management questioning IF Jameis is THEIR guy going forward. I wouldn’t blame them one bit, since this is a multi-billion dollar BUSINESS.
This has to be a real conundrum for them. They don’t draft high enough this year to get an immediate starting QB (like Burrows?). They can EITHER re-sign Jameis (which will most likely require a franchise tag to keep the price ‘reasonable’) OR they can sign a UFA who may or may not be a bridge QB (say a Dalton or a Carr?).
Interestingly IMO, IF we franchise tag Jameis, we’ll get to do this same dance all over again next year. IF Jameis has a bad 2020 with us, we’ll undoubtedly not make the playoffs, have wasted around $25 mil & STILL have no starting QB for 2021. Whooppee! IF Jameis has a good 2020 with us, I can only imagine how much he’d ask for to sign a long-term contract (and we probably wouldn’t be able to afford that, especially with LVD & Chris Godwin being up for new contracts also in 2021).
Kinda feel that this is one of those ‘damned if you do, damned if you don’t’ situations. Odds of the Bucs coming out the WINNER aren’t exactly overwhelming.
February 16th, 2020 at 1:08 pm
Manning won a Super Bowl with the Colts and was MVP.

How about we do this ndog. You give me a game where the defense or kicker LOST the game for us and give me the reasons why and then I’ll go next on how Winston lost us the game and give details why. Last man standing wins!
February 16th, 2020 at 1:18 pm
Spot on, defense! I couldn’t agree with you more!
Contrary to what ndog thinks, I do want Winston to do good so we can move past the keep him/don’t keep him and we have a franchise qb. I want my team to be successful and I don’t care who’s qb. But I can’t sit back and let things slide because of 5k yards and 33 tds.
Ndog, you take my being critical of Winston as hate for him. I don’t hate the guy one bit! I have 3 of his jerseys hanging in my closet right now!

The giants game last throw to Winston to get up the missed game winning fg: a good qb would hit Evans for the big gain (like Winston did). A great qb would’ve led Evans (bc he had a huge gap between him and the defender) and got the td.
Little things like that are the difference between a good qb and a great qb.

The gross incompetence of not checking vision in physical evaluations is unbelievable. Tell me this is an issue that just surfaced?
Over the past 5yrs our starting QB eyesight has degraded and now he is near sighted?
Say that out loud in mirror!! Mangini is correct they should all be fired!!!!
You just can’t make this S#*T up!

Ndog; Did you polish up Jameis’s helmet nice and shiny for Valentine’s Day?
February 16th, 2020 at 4:14 pm
Here’s what I just don’t freaking get about this Jameis vision thing. Unless I missed something, who from the Bucs organization has said that Jameis vision may have cause his interceptions. Arians has already said when asked about Jameis vision is, Jameis can see those players. So where In the hell are these people getting this from
February 16th, 2020 at 4:40 pm
Jameis will be tagged and play starting QB for the Bucs in 2020. What are their other options? Tom brady? No. Philip Rivers? No. Jacob Eason? No. Defenses’ win championships and Bowels’ young defense looked mighty fine under his first year as DC. Jameis has had bottom of the barrel defense since he arrived. No playoffs and he’s a ghost at One Buc Place in 2021.
Jameis Winston. First time MVP 2021 Bucs Super Bowl azz whoopin’ in a Super Bowl where the location was switched from another location to Tampa Bay??? Sounds pretty sweet to me. GO BUCS ’20!!!

Why?
February 16th, 2020 at 6:56 pm
@951Joy Behar,
Your constant triggered ranting over every Winston play just shows you are a loon. No one takes you serious.
You are truly the Joy Behar of JBF.
February 16th, 2020 at 6:59 pm
I can’t imagine any team making a play for a guy who throws interceptions like he does. What team thinks that is an acceptable part of their game plan?
Which leaves him next year serving in a role like Ryan Tannehill was this year. I’m thinking maybe Cleveland, sitting behind Baker Mayfield?
You can’t keep him with the Bucs while you draft a QB as the heir apparent and expect a happy locker room. Not with a guy like Winston. That would be idiotic personnel management.
A backup is hardly the $30 Million Man. So Winston may be in for a rude awakening given his self assessment.
And if no other team would pay him diddley-squat why should the Bucs? Battered-wife syndrome? Joy with mediocrity?

Mr postman… Cool story bro
February 16th, 2020 at 11:03 pm
Geez I just had to look up who joy Behar was. Thank god im a man and don’t know who that was!
February 17th, 2020 at 6:10 am
I have to admit, the Winston defenders like Bonzai and Tmax DO make me laugh my arse off !!! MOVE ON!!!
February 17th, 2020 at 6:54 am
Bonsai and Ndog!!!!
No football is not a one man sport which is why JayMiss’s 5,000 yards is not all on him it’s the great receivers around him. What is his fault is his blatant inability to secure the football. True his numbers did increase across the board but so did his interceptions and fumbles please explain to me how those are not his faults either. He had the most pick 6’s in the league last year too why don’t you guys add that to his impressive stats or are you all just as blind as jaymiss?
February 17th, 2020 at 7:27 am
951 and others, don’t waste your time interacting with the likes of tmax and ndog. They’re idiots and everyone knows it. And when it comes to idiots remember the wise words of Abraham Lincoln….”Never argue with an idiot. They will always find a way to bring the conversation down to their level, and then beat you with experience.”

NDOG ,
The loss to Giants not only had lapses by the defense and kicking game. But the TRUTH is Jameis threw one of his most horrific INT’s of the year, Evans was open for at least 10 yards, but Jameis failed to hit him when he was open. Instead he the ball sailed high and 1 or 2 yards behind Evans into the waiting arms of the safety So our franchise QB failed to complete a 3 rd and five that would have put us around the 30 yard line of Giants at the 12 minute mark of the fourth quarter.
Simply put Jameis also failed to “get er done” and ice the game by completing the drive.
February 17th, 2020 at 8:54 am
The article was logical. So Winston cult followers can go ahead and loose minds.
February 17th, 2020 at 10:14 am
Don’t forget bob the throw to Evans that set up the failed game winning kick. Evans had a good 2-3 yard cushion on the defender and if the ball was thrown where Evans didn’t have to stop and wait for it, it would’ve been a td. Not defending the kickers one bit tho. He should’ve made that kick to end the game. But that’s the difference between a good qb like Winston and a great qb like mahomes

Jeagan: ndog has nothing and once you present him with true facts he can’t dispute, he magically leaves the conversation. It happens all the time.
With Mr Postman, he seems to just slam ppl and call them names. Again, he has nothing. I had to actually look up who Joy Behar was… I guess the postman watches that show the view 🤷🏻♂️ I always thought it was a show for housewives… maybe that’s what he/she is? A housewife or househusband?
Tmax: he is a grumpy middle aged man. Divorced. Couple kids who he rarely talks to or calls him. I imagine he lives in a double wide (I’m not putting that down as I had to grow up in one) and he has 1-3 dogs. The dog/dogs are his life. He’s one of those neighbors you dread talking to because all he does is talk about himself and his beliefs.
I find it fun and interesting talking with these ppl. Wish ndog would debate me more and perhaps play that game I asked him to play but he won’t because he knows deep down that winstons ints were a huge concern but doesn’t want to admit it.

Wait a minute if your having trouble seeing receivers and the secondary because of your vision is it your fault for not wearing glasses or having it corrected or the organization you work for? Well if Jameis complained repeatedly that vision was his issue then yes but I dont think that is the case because I never ever heard him say anything close to that.
